| WHEN SHE WAS BAD During a movie trivia game, Xander puts ice cream on Willow's nose. Willow's response? Willow: (pouty) My nose is cold. Xander: Let me get that for ya. (leans in to lick off her nose.) Willow: Xander! (stops him) Xander: I'm sorry, I can't help myself. Your nose looks so tasty. (He reaches up with his napkin and gently wipes off her nose. He takes much longer than he needs to and looks into her eyes. He brushes his hand against her cheek. After another moment, he starts to move in for a kiss. She responds in kind and tilts her head. They stop just short of making contact and linger there for a moment. Xander finally begins to pull back, and the two realize that they are about to be attacked by a vampire. Shortly afterward, Buffy arrives, and Xander forgets all about the incident. |

| After Willow and the gang are kidnapped, Xander has a confrontation with Buffy over her strange behavior. Xander: (to Buffy) I don't know what your problem is, what your issues are. But as of now, I officially don't care. If you'd worked with us for five seconds, you coulda stopped this. Buffy: We, we just have to think. Where could they have taken them? Xander: (vehemently) If they hurt Willow, I'll kill you. |
| INCA MUMMY GIRL When Xander falls for Ampata, the foreign exchange student, Willow lovingly steps out of the way. Willow: You should take her to the dance. Xander: That's a good idea! We'll all go! Willow: No, I mean just you. Xander: But you were psyched! And your constume! Willow: I'll see you there. Xander: You know what, Willow? You're my best friend. (He walks back over to Ampata.) Willow: (smiles sadly) I know. |
