Excerpt from SCFC interview video of June 30:
Fan: What about 10th Kingdom? Have you heard anything?
Scott: The only thing that I heard, which was from Brian Eastman [Note: one of the independent producers, i.e., not an employee of Hallmark], who somebody met ...
Fan: Robin, who’s not here ...
Scott: Yeah ... He said that he feels like it’s still in the process - like it’s not dead, it’s just that you know. Simon [Moore, the writer] wants it, of course. And I actually had a conversation with Kim [Williams] and we were both curious about it, so I’m not even sure. I’d love to say that yes, definitely, but I just don’t know.
I think they also need a venue. I don’t know as if Showtime is as into it as they were a year ago. And I don’t know about Robert [Halmi, the Hallmark executive producer]. I don’t know what he’s doing...No, The 10th Kingdom - I hear there’s progress, but I don’t know what to say.
Fan: Will Hugh [O’Gorman] be in the sequel if the Trolls are?
Scott: Probably. I’ll bet everybody will except John [Larroquette]. [laughs] I’m sure he won’t be.
Fan: Why do you say that?
Scott: It’s just been on my mind lately. I think he liked it, but he liked it just enough. I think me,
Kim – Kim, me and the Trolls - I mean there was other people that just adored it, y’know, and
could not get enough of it. But John, y’know, he missed his family. I mean we were there for a
long, long time. It was pretty uncomfortable. John wasn’t used to being away from his wife for
that long.
Another Fan: Will John Larroquette be in the sequel?
Fan: He just answered that.
Scott: I don’t know, you know I really - I can’t speak for him. I have no idea; I would hope so. I
think though, in relation to what Simon wrote out for the next show - he wouldn’t really be
involved, and I think he’d come in for a cameo or something like that.
