Hi, everyone! I first fell in love with The Young Riders when it first debuted back in 1989. It was my freshman year of high school, and I still remember my one friend who also loved the show. We would sit in class every Friday morning and talk about last night’s episode and gush over who our favorite rider was. My favorite characters were always Lou and Kid and to this day, they are still my OTP. Fast forward thirty years, and I still love the show and the characters. When we were all sent home in March of 2020, my teenage daughter convinced me that being stuck in quarantine was as good a time as any to try my hand at writing some fanfic. Since I had always wanted to try writing a novel, I figured it was a good place to start. Back when I watched the show as a teenager, I had no idea that fanfic was a thing, despite having some ideas for show episodes stuck in my head. Now that I’ve started writing, I’m not sure I will ever stop. My one complaint with the show was that we never really got a good explanation of how Kid and Lou got back together. So, for all my fellow Kid and Lou fans, I’ve been busy writing and hope you enjoy my stories. Happy reading!
