If you wish to test your color-vision than go to the tests page, most people would see the numbers which are hidden behind the black square, some would see different numbers and some won't see any numbers.

I am counted with the second kind-does it mean i can't see colors? NO! if never saw the test for color-blindness than it's likely that i would have never known that there's somthing wrong with my color vision. I see and name colors almost like everyone, but there are three differences:
1.I can't tell the difference between certain very similar colors.
2.Red colors look a little darker in my eyes.
3.Two objects can look the same for me but not for you but the contrary is also true.

Most of the color-blind people have very a small disfunction of color-vision, very few people are totally color-blind and see the world in gray, those people have to remember the position of the light on the trafficlight for example.(do you?) What makes people be color-blind? On the page about color-vision (HOW DO WE SEE COLORS) i've explaind that our eyes have cells that are sensitive to red, green and blue light. color-blind people are missing one of them ( sometimes even two), or they have sensetivity for light on the 'wrong place' in the color range, this thing is genetic. color-blindness can also be the outcome of brain damage but it's very rare.

From the description we can learn that the existance of basic colors and the fact that there are for normal humans) three of them, are biological facts and not physical.

Well, this is a little from a lot but i hope it's interesting.
