Happy 3rd Anniversary David & Jaime
Mood:  happy
I know this is about 5 days past due but David Boreanaz & Jaime Bergman just celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary!!! They got married on November 24, 2001. I wish them well and many more to come. May your love continue to grow and last forever!

Not Fade Away (Series Finale)
(WARNING: This entry contains strong language at the end.)

As sad as it is that ANGEL has ended, the finale was the best payoff. It had everything that the series ANGEL had before.

It had the humor "This may come out a bit pretentious but one of you will betray me." and then Spike raises his hand.

It had the drama, when Wes got killed and Illyria became Fred for those brief moments. (I for one was bawling my eyes out.)

It had its interesting moments. Too many to name.

All the actors were on top of their game.

James (Marsters, Spike) was at his comic best.

Amy (Acker, Fred) was at her best emotionally.

Andy (Hallett, Lorne) was at his best when he walked away from something he didnt want to do anymore.

David (Boreanaz, Angel) has never acted better in my somewhat biased opinion. He had the humor and the emotion was there.

MSN Entertainment in an article titled "ANGEL ends with Fans in mourning." gave insite into how the emotional level got so high. 'After the cancellation there were some hurt feelings amoung the cast and crew. That manifested itself in the finale.'

The thing I did NOT like about it, and this has nothing to do with Joss Whedon or anyone on the show, it was how the WB kept mentioning that it was the series finale. I kept yelling at the tv "We know this, thanks for rubbing it in." The other thing that really made me mad was that the WB had the balls to say, "Thanks, from your friends at the WB." That is a bunch of B.S! The WB is not our (the viewers) friends. If they were then why the hell did they cancel our show. And one of the best out there.
