Binky Barnes
Binky is the designated "bully", but he's not actually that tough. His hobbies are varied, but none are the typical things you would expect from a tough guy. He enjoys butterflies - catching "Big Blue" became his obsession. When he thought he was dying, he pursued his secret dream of dancing in a ballet - it was a ballet about a green potato chip. His innate talent allowed him to detect an abstract painting was hanging sideways. He also enjoys reading, but will not always admit it. He is very good at the clarinet. He listens to classical and jazz music.
He is afraid of the dark and has nightmares if he doesn't plug in his nightlight (which looks like Pickles the Clown). He is gullible, and not particularly smart, although he is not what you would call dumb. He is older than Arthur because he was held back a year in school. He is also strong.
His closest group of friends are The Tough Customers, but he also spends time with Arthur's gang. Binky is an only child and his parents dote on him. His parents call him "Binky-Winkums" and "Mr. Muffin Man." :)
