Lynx-O is kind of old. In this picture, you can see that he has arthritis. It acts up now and then. It can be a problem during battle because if you accidentally run into him you'll knock him over and then he'll complain about how he can't get up because his knee is aching so you have to protect him and yourself while he staggers back to his feet and then he claims that his timing is off and then-- Bengali? Yeah? Shut up. |

And when he gets hungry, he kind of lets his stomach override his other senses. In this picture, he's trying to eat his light-up talisman. And while the talisman isn't poisonous, it's not good for digestion. I don't care how much fiber is in that thing, Lynx-O has enough stomach pains already. He doesn't need to add a chunk of wood to his diet. Cheetara stopped him before he could finish it, if it makes you feel better. I feel fine. It's Lynx-O who will be hurting. Maybe we should give him some of those emergency rations that Panthro has. Panthro says they're great for snacks. The only reason they're great is because you eat one and immediately lose your appetite. It's a food conservation thing. |

This is a big problem for the lynx and it's usually a big problem for the rest of us, too. You see, when Lynx-O is on duty, he wires the entire Tower of Omens into his Braille Board and he's the only one who can unhook the whole thing. But when he goes deaf, he gets so distraught that he forgets how to unhook the Braille Board and the rest of us don't know how to work it. Which means the Tower is defenselss. And that's generally viewed as a bad thing, especially when the Lunatacs show up. |

This is one of those times. We think the stress of being captured by the Lunatacs might have something to do with it, but who can tell? We might also blame it on old age. Sometimes, not always but sometimes, Lynx-O forgets where he puts his glasses. And it takes him a while to realize that he doesn't have glasses. And then he blames the rest of us for breaking them. But he ultimately remembers who he is. That's a good thing. |
