Daisuke is a teenage boy who on his fourtenth birthday inherits the powers to transform in to the Angelic art theif Phantom Dark. However much he doesn't want to transform young Daisuke transforms into Dark when he feels the unrequited love from the girl he cares about most. The young boy is less than happy about turning into an art theif but the only way he can remain himself is if the girl he has a crush on loves him back. Daisuke is very discouraged becauase this young girl is in love with non-other than Phantom Dark himself!
