SSW #1 Orlando 2001 - GH & PC Actors - 2 hrs 31 minutes
Talk Show - Linda Dano hosts. Guests Maurice, Tamara, Coltin, Marisa,
Jackie (each introduction is proceeded by clips of the actors on
GH). This is from the 9:00 Sunday am show. But I thought this would be a
good way to start off the tape as this event was a lot of fun and a big
crowd pleaser. Linda starts off by saying how grateful they are that we
got in our cars, planes, trains to be there. That they think of us as
family as we are! Maurice is announced and the crowd goes wild. Someone
screams out, "We Love you!", he responds, "I Love You
too!". Linda confesses that he is her favorite actor. Linda brings
him down to the edge of the stage so I got truly gorgeous shots of him
on video. Tamra talked about how that little boy quality about Maurice
gets all women and how he is a geniune person. Maurice said that when he
first came on with Sonny being a bad guy he knew he had to bring some
suffering, soulfulness to the role so he could stay on the show. (side
note I recently read an article stating that Tony Geary came up with the
idea of Bill Eckert being the owner of a sleazy night club in 1993
- TPTB liked the idea and created the role of Sonny). Linda invites a
couple of fans to touch Maurices arms, and his stomach, the crowd goes
nuts. Jackie is brought out, Linda congratulates her on celebrating her
25th year. Linda asks Bobbie to demonstrate some moves from her exercise
video, "Walk Away the Pounds". Then LInda introduces Coltin
and Marisa. Coltin teases her that she had told him backstage that he
was her favorite. After Linda interviews each actor, she then brings
them down to the edge of the stage and they are each asked a question by
the audience. Then the actors go back stage and one lucky fan is
selected from the audience to do a scene with one of the actors. Its an
older woman named Freddy. She does a scene with Coltin and is ALL over
him, it is hysterically funny as she changes the lines, and Coltin is
laughing and cracking up! At the end, clips of the following weeks shows
for GH are shown.
Celebrity Motorcade/Q&A with Walt Wiley - Maurice, Tamara, Coltin,
Marisa, Jackie Sat afternoon. There is a lot of good natured teasing
between the actors. They all seemed pretty happy which was nice to see,
moral seemed good. Walt asked each of them questions, then they were
asked questions submitted by the fans (This event was about 26 minutes,
total tape to this point is 1 hr 13 minutes).
Talk Show - this was the 3:45 show on Saturday, hosted by Linda Dano.
Guests: Wally, Ingo, John Ingle, Brian Presley (Jack, PC) and Kelly
Monaco (Livie, PC) (each introduction is proceeded by clips of the
actors on GH). Ingo is the first out, Linda sits on his lap and flirts.
Next out is Wally, then John Ingle. They are so funny! Wally & Ingo
are pretty funny together. Wally is celebrating 10 years on GH and talks
about how much of himself he brings to the role of Ned. Linda begs Ingo
to admit that he is just like Jax, as that is what she and the fans want
to hear. John Ingle's clips is of him singing at the Nurse's Ball. Linda
asks Wally to sing a sample for the audience. He picks a girl out of the
audience and sings to her. He puts his arm around her shoulder, and
kisses her on the neck! Next Kelly & Brian come out, he carries her
onto the stage, lays her down and kisses her! After Linda's
interview, the actors come down and are seated at the edge of the stage
and take questions from the audience. In a cute moment, Erin Hershey
asks a question from the audience - commenting on what a great voice he
has and if he will be singing during SSW. He says no and so she asks him
to sing for the audience. He comes down and picks another lucky lady out
of the audience and sings a country song, he too has a great voice! He
does a little two step dance with her as he holds her in his arms and
sings. Then a fan asks John and Wally to sing the Thanksgiving song that
the Q's always sing. After the Q&A, a fan is selected to act out a
scene with Brian. He is so funny as he takes the woman in his arms, and
holds her, gently brushing her hair off of her face. She has a hard time
getting her lines out, and as she stumbes, he leans down and kisses her
neck, then nuzzles her on the other side. She is pretty gone by this
time! At the end, clips of the following weeks shows for both PC and GH
are shown.
Celebrity Motorcade/Q&A - Sunday -Walt Wiley hosts. Ingo, Wally,
John Ingle, Kelly, Brian. Show begins with a parade as the actors arrive
in cars with Disney characters. Funny moment when Wally teases Ingo that
he didn't know that GH takes place in Port Charles. Ingo says something
sarcastic about vampires on PC, Walt zings back about the whole Stavros
being frozen and defrosted! Good comeback!

GH Luncheon #12 - August, 2003 - 2 hrs 5 mins
As always I started off the tape with shots of
the exterior of the hotel, and also added some street shots, and some of
the nearby restaurants. I included the soap boutique so you guys could
see the items available there. I was able to get a really nice interview
with Natalia at Chad's event. Pat Griffin was very kind, I volunteered
to tape the event as a benefit for Cystic Fibrosis and she arranged a
little pre-event interivew with Natalia and Chad that I could add to the
GH Luncheon tape...so these two are about 10 minutes.
I was again asked to do some coverage in the
press room (bless you Debbie Morris for giving me this opportunity).
Again, I'm NOT a professional videographer just a goober fan with a
video camera. In the press room I interview Scott (Dillon), this is a
nice 5 minute interivew (most of the rest are shorter). Then Dylan
(Michael), Lindsay (Georgie), Scott Egan (Johnny), Loreli (Penny, not
sure if I'm spelling her name correctly - sorry!), Greg Vaughn, Robyn
Richards, Stuart & leslie, Nancy Lee, Ted King. Several of the
actors are signing autographs. Tamara is signing a bat (not sure if its
her bats or Jason's!). There are also photo opportunities for the
photographers with Tamara, Ted, Nancy Lee, Steve, Alicia,
Then its on to the main event and the actors
are introduced and enter the ballroom amid HUGE screams from the fans.

Then in a truly surprising, thrilling, shocking moment which Debbie
Morris kept tightly under wraps...she goes up to the podium and says
something about the PCPD needing some help catching criminals so they
called in the WSB and in stroll in Tristan Rogers and John Reilly
dressed in black (they joked its Men In Black 3). They received a
standing ovation and thunderous applause and were obviously touched with
the receptionand that fans remembered and still loved them all these
years later. It was the HIT of the weekend! They spoke for a few
minutes, I could have listened to them for hours! Wouldn't it be fun if
they did an individual event!
Everyone posed on stage for a cast photo, then
I have shots of poses with Tristan & John Reily together, and with
Maurice, and I think Steve was also in the group. I didn't take
pictures, just video of them posing for pictures. I also have
interviews during the luncheon with Wally, John J. York, Robin
Chrisopher (with her award, both her and Nancy said this was better than
the Emmy), Denise Alexander, Cynthia Preston and George (her web master)
with their respective awards. I also interview Cari Shayne in the press
room of the PC dinner and will add that to this tape as well as it was
nice to see her. I have shots of several of the actors with fans like
Maurice, Nancy, Tamara, Scott Egan, Alicia, Chad, Greg, Steve, Rick,
Ted, Natalia, Stuart & Leslie, Andrea, and others.
GH Luncheon 2004 - 1 1/2 hours
This event starts off with some Friday morning poolside shots with fans
and their soap boutique purchases. Interview with Vicky of Journey
Online. The edit continues with Saturday morning footage before the
luncheon with shots of fans as they are lined up waiting to check in, I
love all of the fans creative shirts and buttons. Then I showed all of
the goodies on the various fan club tables, tons of pictures, and raffle
items shown from the main GH fan club tables, Kurth & Taylor's new
preview CD, Vanessa's table, Tyler's, interview with his fan club
president Shari Evans, Lisa of JJY Online and his table, Sheri McCutheon
who does Stephen Nichol's official site and his table, Leslie's
Charleson's table and an interview about their online action (:24 mins
to this time). TNext is the press room footage, the actors arrive in the
press room, pose for pictures, interview with various magazines, web
sites, before being brought out to the ballroom. I interviewed Tiffany
an intern at GH, interview with the Eye On Soaps web site ladies (what a
great group!), shots of various actors posing for pictures: Alicia &
ron Hale, Ted King, John York & Lindze & Robyn (cute
moment when one of the twins who plays Kristina runs up to John and
holds out her arms for him to pick her up, shots of all the teens
together (Lindze, Adrieene, Ryan, Katie, Robyn), cute moment as Tamara
arrives with Starbucks for Alicia who gives her a big thank you hug!

difference a tripod makes!). This year's event was dedicated to Anna

Anna Lee, who brought charm, grace and dignity to everything she
touched,will be deeply missed by her friends, her family and her fans.Â

loved.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Anna and having her touch

Tamara reads a note from Jackie who was in Africa for the Gabriel
Project accompanying a child back to the US for treatment, cute moment
as the twins started laughing so Tamara gave one of the girl's the
microphone and had a hard time getting it back! Cyndi and Tamara picked
up the girls and took them up with them to the podium. Greg talks a bit
about the Gabriel Project which brings sick children to the US for
medical treatment. The actors then pose on stage for a group photo (1 hr
20 minutes to this point). There was not a Q&A this year. The actors
adjorned to the autograph tables, shots of the babies signing (LOL!),

First I have some interviews with fan club

site (addy listed below), Jeanna Davis (M'fundo's new fan club
president), Debby O'Connor (Blake, Greg, Rick, Cynthia, and Ted's), Lisa
(JJY Online), Ginny (Becky's), Kurth & Taylor (Tim), Kelly's,
Alicia's (her mom), followed by shots of additional fan club tables and
shots of the fans as they line up for the main event.
The press room coverage begins at :28.
Soapnet solicited fan questions and interviewed the actors in the press
room. I have shots of Kat (from "Chat with Kat" fame) and her
camera woman, Lavonia. I have interviews with the fans who won the press
room pass, Constance, Alicia, Paulo (an aspiring actor who appeared on
Oprah's Wildest Dreams and won role on GH), MaryAnn (a fan from the year
before who won a guest appearence on GH), Lindze, Rick, Adrianne, Katia,
Jennifer, and Kelly. Also included are shots of the actors posing for
photographs with the photographers and some of the behind the scenes
footage before the actors come out to the luncheon.
The luncheon begins at :50 with John J. York as

laughs and says "hair and makeup". Leslie is asked about who
Monica's next conquest will be and fans suggest "Corbin"
(he appears to love the idea), and "Coleman" (this brings
about great laughter at the thought). Cynthia is asked abou the
possibility of Faith rising from the dead, who has the messiest dressing
room (Steve), Maurice is asked about balancing the heavy load he carries

Then Maurice pays tributed to Carol Scott, a GH producer who has passed
away from cancer. The autograph session begins at 1:28. I have some
additional interviews with Mikhail (the winner of "I Wanna Be a
Soap Star" season one), Greg Vaughn (and he ribs Mikhail about a
really hot poster he has brought), Larry, and John York. Really cute
moment as I interview an adorable little girl "Bianca" who is
wearing a t-shirt with a picture of her and Steve together from SSW and
she tells about meeting him. I happened to be taping Maurice's table as
she goes up to him, and he kisses her on the cheek not once but twice!
6/05 Fun in the Sun Anaheim (included on the GH Luncheon edit) - :50
mins - attended by Scott Clifton, Jennifer Bransford, Kirsten Storms,
Rick Hearst, Alicia Lee Willis, Michael (AMC). This is not the
traditional Q&A but contests and autograph sessions where fans
have the opportunity to interact with fans. Alicia and Jennifer
participate in a cup stacking contest, each actor is teamed with a fan.
This is followed by a wagon racing contest between Scott and Michael B.,
then Rick and Alicia and Scott signing autographs. The best event was a
Match Game where actors are asked questions and their fan partner later
comes out and tries to match their answer to what the actor said in a
newlywed game format. A sample of questions are: Which character are you
most like between Donald, Goofy and Mickey? Of your co'stars on stage
who is most suited for Dance Party U.S. A? What is a perfect date
between dinner & movie, sunset stroll, or hot dog & concert.
Next is a fan singing competition judged by Kirsten, Jennifer and
Michael (missed first contestant).
GH Luncheon 2006 -1 hr 47 mins
In the press room I interviewed (about 22 minutes): John Ingle, Stuart
Damon, Lindze Leatherman, Julie Berman, Scott Clifton, John J. York,
Constance Towers, Jason Thompson, Ted King, Laura Wright,
Ignaciao, Steve Burton, Kimberly, and Rebecca Herbst. Back in the main
ballroom the actors are introduced: John Ingle does the introductions,
Adrian Alvarez, Denise Alexander, Julie Berman, Maurice, Steve, Dylan
Cash, Dirk & Drew Cheetwood, Tyler Christopher, Scott, Stuart,
Sonya, Rick Hearst, Kent Masters King, Becky, Ted, Lindze, Natalia,
Kimberly, Ignacio, Jason, Connie, Greg Vaughn, Bergen, Laura, and John
J.
John York goes out with a roving mic to the fans for the Q&A portion
of the event with questions fielded to the following actors:
Steve, Kimb, Maurice, Stuart, Jason, Julie, Connie, Scott, Jackie,
Laura, Jill Farren Phelps.

Fans give the actors a standing ovation, which is returned as the actors
also give the fans a standing ovation in return. The autograph session
begins, Finola Hughes arrives during this portion. She stands up on a
table and waves to fans (not on the video). I have several minutes of
the actors meeting with fans, autographing items and taking pictures
with fans. During the autograph session I have shots of Tristan, Jason,
Ted, Jason, Greg, Adrian, Kim, Maurice, Steve, Natalia, John Ingle, John
J., Bergen, Tyler, Jackie, Connie, Kent, Laura (very classy lady she
brought a huge stack of 8x10 pictures that she gave away to fans!), Dirk
& Drew, Becky, Sonya, Finola, Scott, and Julie. Short clip of Rick
with his fan club award and he acknowledges his fan club president,
Debby O'Connor. Short interview welcoming Sonya and asking her how the
role of epiphany took off. Cute shot of Tristan and Finola together (no
interviews as they arrived after the press room and their lines were
HUGE!).
As for any other events, I will email out information on any other event
videos that I hear of to my GH Event new edit email notification group
through yahoo. This group usually only receives a couple of emails a
year with information on the GH Fan weekend and SSW (if I'm able to
attend). I recommend checking the official web sites and emailing the
web masters for information on any other official fan club videos. For
instance, Tyler's fan club president - Sheri usually offers a video of
his event. Becky's fan club usually offers a video of her event. There
was a video cam at Wally's Bingo event but I don't know if they will
offer a video of that event or not. Check with Wally's official site and
the Kurth & Taylor Foundation. There is no video taping allowed
(that I know of) for Rick Hearst, Greg, Steve's. I don't know of anyone
who recorded or who had permission to offer Maurice or Nancy Lee's. I
don't record or offer any individual actor events unless I have
permission of the event organizer. I was not able to attend Nancy Lee's
event this year so I'm not able to offer that one this year.
