Jason & Carly #12  March 15 - May 26, 1999 - 8 hr original edit

At the Quartermaine mansion, the room grows eerily silent as Jason walks in carrying Michael. Edward warns Jason not to even think of leaving with Michael. Jason tells Michael that these are the Q's. He already know Emily. She is the one who tells the truth and the one he trusts to watch over him. He carries the baby over to Lila and explains that she is his great grandmother. He tells Michael that Lila loves him. He then carries Michael over to Monica and tells him that Monica is his mother. Jason points to Edward and tells him that he probably has him figured out by now. He then walks over to AJ and tells Michael that AJ will never hurt him. AJ speaks to Michael saying that "Uncle" Jason is a bad man. He robs and kills people for a living. He tells Michael that Jason stole him before he was even born.

After tonight, he will never see him again, if he has anything to do with it. Jason ignores AJ and asks Carly if she will go upstairs with him to help read Michael to sleep. Carly agrees, in the interest of maintaining family harmony, and follows Jason out of the room. Carly is relieved when Jason finally manages to get Michael to sleep. Carly thanks Jason for coming.

Jason tells Carly that she has to do for Michael what he used to. She has to be there for him. He knows she thinks she can't do it, but she can. She can't be afraid because Michael will sense it and fear is contagious. When Michael is afraid, she should just kick everyone out of the room and hold him. It doesn't matter what she says as long as she says it without being afraid. Jason assures Carly that if Michael hears the sound of her being his Mom and loving him, he will accept her comfort.

As she watches Michael sleep, Carly tearfully tells Jason that she doesn't know why she thought she could handle the Q's. She is so out of her league. These people have their daggers out all of the time. She turns around as she is talking and discovers that Jason is gone. Carly is still in Michael's room watching him sleep. She tells the sleeping baby that he gave the Q's hell and says good for him, but now he should let her take over. Jason arrives back at his penthouse. He resumes his position in the chair in the corner and stares off into space.

Jason overheard Moreno's plans for his next drug shipment. Jason then turned to Justus to help destroy Moreno. Justus then held a press conference announcing the drug bust (Jason had given him the necessary info to bust Moreno with drugs). Sonny and Jason enjoy the fruits of their labor. Sonny says that they now have friends in high places. Jason is ready to uncover more information on Moreno's dealings. Sonny advises against this because of his upcoming custody hearing. He tries to explain how he can be connected to this because Justus was his lawyer. He thinks Moreno will come gunning for Jason. Jason is only concerned with seeing Michael and ignores anything else Sonny says.

Jason reaches the psychiatrist office and A.J. tries to convince him not to see Michael. It only makes matters worse for the baby. Jason tells A.J. he is Michael's father and goes in to see him. The doctor questions Jason on Michaels' behavior, and his habits. They discuss Carly and her actions. She questions what loving Michael means to him. Jason tells her he will give Michael everything he needs. He will love and protect him and never leave him. Jason then has to turn Michael over to A.J. after the meeting. As soon as A.J. takes him, Michael begins to cry.

Sonny tells Jason Taggert is on to them. He asks about his visit with Michael. Jason says he tried to make it fun for Michael. A sadness looms over Jason's face.

A.J. complains to Carly about how much more agitated Michael has become since he saw Jason at the psychiatrist's office. Carly is well aware of that and tells AJ that Michael feels comfortable with Jason. AJ senses Carly is pleased with the fact that Michael is not responding to him and calls her on it. The two of them argue over Michael and Jason, and AJ decides to get some air and leaves. Edward happens to eavesdrop on Carly making plans to go see Jason. She calls a cab to come get her and then hangs up. As Carly gets ready to leave, she gets advice from an unlikely source and turns around to find Edward standing behind her. They talk about AJ and all of the things Carly has done to him in the past. Edward tells her it is in the past and the family that she has been yearning for is within her reach. As Carly listens, Edward shocked Carly by suggesting that she and AJ present a united front in order to help Michael. Carly later took Edward's advice to heart and decided to make a move on AJ.

Carly is preparing herself to go make nice with AJ. She is practicing what she is going to say. She tries several different approaches until she thinks she has hit on one that will work. She decides to beg AJ for forgiveness. With that she gives her hair a final flip and walks out the door.

Ned tells AJ that what he lacks in talent, he has made up in callousness because it takes a cold bastard to launch his career on the broken heart of his only son. Carly arrives at the end of Ned's statement. Ned brushes past her on the way out of AJ's office asking if she doesn't see enough of this idiot at home. After Ned leaves, Carly tells AJ that he has Ned running scared. He was totally rattled. Ned is on the defensive. He can feel that AJ is coming into his own. She suggests that AJ relax and enjoy it because it can be a lot of fun to control the people you despise. Carly asks AJ to forgive her for the things she said. They want Michael to be happy and the best way to do that is to work as a team. Carly tells AJ that she understands how much pressure he is under with his job and the family and everything. Their son's future depends on them finding a way to work together. They have to stay friendly and find a way to back each other up when ever there is an opportunity. AJ says that that is an attractive concept although it is hard to fathom on Quartermaine turf. Loyalty is fleeting in his family. Carly is sure that AJ can teach Michael loyalty. AJ says that he can't do it alone. He can handle the business, but Michael is a full time job. He agrees that it will take a lot of work for the both of them. Carly says that they are in this together. They laugh together and AJ says it feels like they just made a pact. Carly agrees, she considers that progress. AJ agrees and invites Carly to dinner. He knows a great spot that he is sure she will love. Carly and AJ arrive at Café Matisse. Carly orders a bottle of champagne and then starts to change her mind when she remembers that AJ doesn't drink. AJ insists that she get the champagne and orders something nonalcoholic for himself. Carly looks at the menu and asks for a translation. She asks if you don't belong there if you don't speak french. AJ assures her that as the mother of a Quartermaine, she belongs anywhere she wants. The waiter arrives and AJ charmingly orders in French for both of them. Once the waiter is gone, he comments on how surprised he was when Carly apologized. Carly says that she is basically loyal. Carly continues to play AJ like a fiddle as they wait for their meals to arrive. Carly doesn't look too thrilled when the waiter removes the plate covers to reveal salmon in a bernaise sauce. AJ tells her that she will love it and she obligingly chokes down a bite. He had a feeling that he pallet was ready to expand. Carly pretends to love the meal and then asks AJ how he knew she was ready for more sophisticated meals. AJ says that it was her eyes. Her eyes say show me more, show me everything, I want to experience it all. She has searching eyes and they are very nice. AJ says that when he brought her the CD player it was because he remembered her eyes wishing for more. Carly says that her eyes had nothing to do with it, Edward did. AJ laughs because he knows that Carly is right. He asks if he mentioned that her eyes are very intelligent. He admits that Edward offered him the moon in exchange for Michael, but now that he knows Michael is his son, he doesn't care much about the moon. He wants to win because he wants ELQ for Michael. And he will do whatever it takes to make sure he gets it. AJ says that when he was a drunk, he handed the company to Ned. Now he is strong and he has to protect Michael's interests. Ned will fight to take ELQ away. Carly says that AJ will win because he has her and she is no slouch in the war department. AJ says that he was furious when he found out that Carly lied, but he would like to put that all behind them. He would like to have his friend back. Carly says that he would like that too.

Carly is thrilled to be allowed in the ELQ board meeting. Edward is disappointed that Alan has decided to attend and vote his own shares. Ned arrives along with Lila's proxy. The doorbell rings and Edward starts ranting about how it had better not be Sonny. For some reason, Reginald does not answer the door so Edward decides to answer it himself. As he continues to mutter about Sonny the gangster, he opens the door to reveal the court psychiatrist. She introduces herself and explains that she is there for an in home visit to determine if the Q home is a suitable environment for Michael. Edward apologizes profusely. Everyone rushes over to greet to good doctor. Edward explains that they were about to have a board meeting. The advantage of a family company is being able to conduct all their business in the quiet family halls so that AJ and Carly have more time to spend with Michael. The doctor asks to see Michael's room. She wants to see him interact with his biological parents on familiar territory. AJ and Carly caution that Michael might be a little cranky from his visit to Jason. The doctor says that she wants to see Michael interact with the rest of the family. Edward assures the doctor that Michael's environment is full of love. What better proof of that than the children who were raised under this roof? Every one of them a solid, sober citizen! Emily comes down the stairs shouting that what Edward is saying is not true. She tells the doctor not to listen to the others. The house is hell. Alexis tells Jason that she read the doctor's initial report and that the doctor was very impressed with the way Jason and Michael interacted. She suggests that Jason and Sonny drop by the Q's while the doctor is there. Sonny says that he knows someone who can get Jason into the Q's. Emily tells the doctor that the Q's is the worst place in the world for a kid. All the family does is fight. Monica tells Emily that she isn't being fair to AJ. Emily tells the doctor how Edward tried to buy Michael and than they kidnapp ed him when Carly wouldn't sell. She also tells the doctor that she and Alan were drug addicts and that AJ is a recovering alcoholic. Carly jumps in and the fight turns into a classic Q brawl. The doctor interrupts saying that she thinks someone is at the door. Sonny has arrived for the board meeting with Jason and Alexis in tow. Edward demands to know why Jason is there given the restraining order. Jason explains that he is there for the board meeting. Edward says that since Jason sold his ELQ stock to Sonny, he no longer is allowed to attend the board meetings. Sonny gleefully explains that he sold the stock back to Jason. Alexis confirms that as of an hour ago, Jason owns 6% of ELQ stock which entitles him to attend any and all board meetings. Edward is furious, but Carly looks pleased. Edward "allows" Sonny and Jason to attend the meeting, but says that Jason is still not allowed to see Michael. Edward will not have Jason make Carly and AJ look bad. Sonny says that they just came there to do business. Ned suggests that they get down to it then. Jason asks Emily if she is OK. Emily says that she is worried about Michael. As Monica says that they are all worried, the doctor comes down the stairs with Carly and AJ who are apologizing for Michael's behavior. Apparently, the visit didn't go well. AJ explains that Michael is still getting used to the house. The doctor asks if AJ and Carly are engaging Michael in things that he likes to do. AJ and Carly say that Michael likes to take walks. As AJ and Carly continue to talk to the doctor, Emily comes down the stairs carrying Michael. AJ begs her not to do this, but Emily says that the doctor needs to know the truth. Michael is happy when Emily hands him to Jason. She says that what Michael likes isn't going for walks, it is being with Jason. Emily appears to be right as Michael and Jason interact wonderfully. The doctor watches as Jason explains what is going on to Michael. She asks if he always does that. Jason says that Michael understands more than he can tell them and he has a right to know what's going on in his own life. The doctor notes that Michael is focused and content with Jason. She tells AJ and Carly that that is what they should be working for. Michael hasn't stopped growing up just because the adults in his life haven't decided where he should do it. She thank the family saying that it has been an informative afternoon. After she goes, AJ demands that Jason give him his son. Jason says that he is going to put Michael to bed and that if AJ doesn't like it, he can call the cops.

AJ turns to Emily and asks what he ever did to deserve what she did in front of the doctor today. He doesn't understand. This is his life. Emily tries to explain to AJ why she is doing everything she can to get Jason and Michael back together. Michael is miserable. He doesn't understand that he is supposed to be happy because he is with his biological father. All the screaming and crying are Michael's way of fighting for what he loves. As his godmother, her job is to make sure that Michael is happy until he is old enough to fight for himself. She is fighting for Michael.

Standing outside Michael's bedroom door, AJ complains about Jason being in the room with Michael. Carly says that the damage is done, they may as well let Jason put Michael to bed tonight. AJ reluctantly agrees and then starts complaining about what Emily did. Carly readily agrees that Emily's actions were unconscionable. In Michael's room, Jason lovingly plays with Michael as he gets him ready for bed.

Dr. Smithson arrives unannounced at the penthouse. Johnny lets the doctor into Jason's apartment, as a flustered Jason scrambles to conceal the gun he's carrying by tucking it behind his belt. Sensing nervousness, she asks if this is not a good time. Jason asks her if there is anything wrong with Michael. She tells him no, she just wants to see how he lives. She then tells him that she would like to get to know more about him. He shows her around the penthouse, without letting her see the gun. She comments on the decorating and he tells her that Carly did it. Sonny shows up to talk to Jason and she asks him about the coffee warehouse fire. Sonny tells her that it was just a freak accident and next time he will be more prepared with his fire insurance. Dr. Smithson asks for Sonny to stay, so she can get a clearer picture of Jason as a parent. Sonny suggests that Jason get them all some coffee. While Jason is getting the coffee, Sonny tries to smooth things over with the court-appointed psychiatrist by vouching for Jason's character and his parental abilities. The doctor wonders why Jason is so uptight and asks Jason what kind of changes he has made in his lifestyle. Jason says that Michael became more important than anything else. Sonny agrees with that, saying Jason is a devoted father. Dr. Smithson then asks about his alleged criminal activity and tells them she knows about them both being accused of committing crimes. She tells Jason the Port Charles Police Department is committed to putting him behind bars and also lets him know that she is well aware of their criminal activity and all of the crimes that have been associated to them. A nervous Jason says that he is not responsible for what others do to them. She doesn't like that answer and asks Jason if exposing Michael to that kind of life can be good for him. Jason is speechless while Sonny tries to intervene by getting the docto to look at the view Michael likes and pulls the doctor over to the window. Jason quietly takes his gun out of his belt and hides it under the couch cushion while they are at the window. The doctor is not impressed and tells Jason that she is still not clear on one thing; why Carly chose him to be the father of her baby, but now she is aligned with the Quartermaine's. Sonny intervenes again and explains tells Dr. Smithson that Carly gets confused sometimes. The doctor asks if Carly is a threat to Michael's safety. Jason says no, that Carly loves Michael. She then asks Jason why he hates the Quartermaines if he was once part of their family. Jason explains that he was not what the family thought he should be. She doesn't like his answer, so he jumps back on the subject of Michael and talks about Michael figuring things out for himself, and how proud that makes him feel.

Carly tells Jason the story of the shower. She talks about how awful Emily was. Jason warns her to be careful with his sister. They then discuss the pre-nup. Carly points out that if she signs too easliy, AJ might think something is up. Phone rings, the verdict is in. Courtroom: "Custody hearings are never easy," says the judge. He goes on to say that AJ and Carly have fufilled the requirements of guardianship, and he is awarding them primary custody of their son. Edward erupts in glee while Jason looks on, devestated. Judge orders Edward to sit and calls for order. He qualifies his earlier ruling with the addition that Jason be given partial custody, including but not limited to three nights a week. He then goes on to remind them that they are family, and for Michael's sake, suggests they act like one. The Q's leave, upset, while Emily ( "we did it") embraces Jason.

Back at the Manor: Carly returns AJ's ring, telling him she's not going to hold him to a promise hemade her just to get sole custody of their son. He reassures her that he wants to marry her because she's Michael's mother and the three of them can be a family. She takes the ring back, and he kisses her. Meanwhile, Jason explains the custody hearing to Michael.

A.J. suprises Carly by asking her to move up the wedding. He wants to be married at the mansion in a week. Carly is suspicious of his motives, but he tells her that he only wants what is best for Michael. Carly tells him she still has a problem with the prenuptial agreement, A.J. tells her not to worry, he will handle Edward. Carly finally agrees to move up the wedding. Later Jason arrives to pick up Michael. He offers to help A.J. get close to Michael to make the child feel more comfortable living there. A.J wants no part of Jason's help. Jason expects Leticia to go with him and Michael, but Reginald interceeds on her behalf. He explains that she needs to have regular days off, and would like to take those days when Jason takes Michael. He also explains that she would like to take those days off at the mansion. Jason congratulates Reginald on what appears to be a budding romance.

Jason happily welcomes Michael back home. Within moments of their arrival, Hannah drops by after Sonny is not home. She comments on how happy Jason looks to have Michael back and Jason tells her that the penthouse has seemed empty without him. Jason realizes that Hannah wants something from him and calls her on it. She tells him about her conversation with Sonny - How she accused him of seeing Brenda in her and how quickly he refuted the notion. She explained that she felt better about the situation until she ran into Mike at Kelly's. Mike had told her to stay away from Sonny - that the resemblance to Brenda was too much of a coincidence. Then at Luke's Mike had come into to talk to Sonny and Sonny had reacted by being very cold to Hannah. Jason tells Hannah that Sonny is complicated but she is doing fine. Jason then receives a call from the warehouse about a shipment coming in early. Hannah offers to watch Michael while Jason goes to sign for the coffee. She assures Jason that she is great with babies and that she willbe fine until he gets back. Jason comes home and finds Sonny putting on a puppet show for Michael with the stuffed animals (this is so cute). Hannah tells Jason that the house needs babyproofing. Jason explains that he was unsure that he would get Michael back and would now love some recommendations. She tells him that the sharp corners have to go and that a soft comfy couch and chair would be good. Just like Jason, he tells her to go ahead and do it -- handing her a wad of money. He tells her the only requirement is that it has to be good for Michael. Hannah calls some furniture stores and makes arrangements to go pick out the furniture. Jason offers to pay her for her services to which Hannah declines. She says that this is fun and she won't accept money for having fun. Since Hannah did such a god job with Michael, Jason asks her if she would be interested in helping him watch the baby. Hannah agrees to be the back up help whenever Jason needs her.

Carly looks over Chloe's dress sketches and asks Edward's opinion to which one he likes best. He tells her any will look lovely on her and asks about the prenuptial agreement. Carly begins to act vague and says they are so confusing she's not sure she understands them. Edward tells her they are just a bunch of legal things and that she really doesn't have to waste her time reading them and just to sign. AJ enters to have Edward explain that Carly has agreed to the Prenuptial after he represents it to her. Edward then leaves the two alone. AJ is surprised to hear that Carly has agreed. Carly explains that she didn't agree she just didn't give Edward a hard time about it because she knows how hard it is for AJ when she does. AJ tells her that she has only made things more complicated by not being forthright. Carly offers to put off the wedding until the matter can be resolved to which AJ says it's not that important and they need to start planning the honeymoon. At the ELQ board meeting, Sonny demands Carly leave which really ticked her off and made AJ mad also.

Bobbie and Jerry arrive at the Q's just after AJ and Carly have made their big entrance at their engagement party. Carly is clearly thrilled to see Bobbie and greets her with a big hug. Bobbie compliments Carly's dress while Carly explains that it is one of Chloe's designs. AJ tells Bobbie that he intends to make Carly and Michael very happy. As they continue to talk, Edward interrupts to make the first toast of the evening to AJ and Carly. He starts a couple of times and can't think of anything to say.

Later in the hall, Emily and Liz run into Carly on their way upstairs. Carly graciously thanks Liz for coming. She tells Liz that she was very moved by what she said at Lucky's memorial service. She doesn't know Liz very well, but she will never forget what she said. Emily is furious with Carly and tells her that she has no right to speak on behalf of any of the Spencer's especially to Liz. Liz tries to make Emily be quiet, but there is no stopping Emily. Carly starts to insist that she was only trying to be nice, but Emily leaves dragging an embarrassed Liz with her. Liz politely thanks Carly as Emily drags her up the stairs. Carly is alone in the foyer when she hears a knock on the door. When the ever absent Reginald fails to appear she exasperatedly opens the door herself. She is not happy to see Luke and Felicia. She tells Luke that she happens to know that his name was not on the guest list. Felicia explains that her name is and that Luke is her guest. Carly sarcastically reminds them that they are married to other people which causes Luke and Felicia to laugh hysterically. Luke assures Carly that he is only there as the proud uncle. Carly asks how a sweet woman like Bobbie ended up related to trash like him. Luke smiles and says that thousands have asked that question, but noone has come up with an answer. He then excuses himself and asks Felicia if she would like to join the party. After they go, Carly goes into the library to regain her composure. Edward comes down the stairs and runs into AJ who is looking for Carly. He asks AJ how he is doing on the prenuptial front. AJ says that Carly is coming around. Neither man is aware that Carly can overhear what they are saying. AJ goes on to reassure Edward that by the time the wedding rolls around, Carly will sign anything to become Mrs. Quartermaine. As they leave, a tearful Carly walks out the front door.

Carly has arrived at Jason's and is greeted by Johnny who compliments her appearance. She starts to ramble about her dress being a designer original and then stops and says that she just wanted to visit Michael. She walks into Jason's apartment and is furious when she discovers Hannah holding Michael. Michael is fussing and saying "Mama, Mama, Mama" as Carly is ready to explode because Hannah is holding him. Jason tells Hannah to bring Michael over to Sonny's. Carly wants Jason to bring Hannah back so she can kill her. Carly asks why all of the things she got for Jason's place have been replaced. She asks Jason if it was his plan to betray her by getting partial custody and then eliminating her from his life. Calling Hannah a tramp, she asks if she has moved in with Jason and is Michael calling her Mommy yet. Jason gives her his look. Finally, he explains that Hannah is helping him and he doesn't have to justify it to Carly. He isn't betraying her. Carly objects to Hannah's redecorating, but Jason says it was because of the sharp edges. Now it's safer for Michael. Carly refers to the place as "our home" and Jason corrects her. He says it's not "our" home or "her" home. It's his and Michael's. He reminds her that she took Michael to the one place he didn't want him to ever live - the Q's. Carly assumes that Jason is sleeping with Hannah. He says that who he sleeps with is none of her business. He reminds her that she is welcome to stay there. She taunts him about her life with AJ and then decides she really doesn't have to ruin AJ's life to have a life with Michael and Jason. She continues to rant and rave about Hannah and then decides that if she lived with Jason and Michael and "the bimbo", it would be just like when she lived with Robin. She now decides she *will* marry AJ, wait for Jason to get into trouble with Sonny, divorce AJ and have enough money to live anywhere in the world with Michael. She *won't* live with Jason and his "slut."

Benny arrives at Jason's wanting to talk with him. He tells Jason that he is there in violation of Sonny's direct orders. He feels he must tell him what happened: Moreno wired Sonny's car to explode. Jason thanks him for telling him. They'll double up on guards for Michael. Benny says that Moreno doesn't believe that Sonny wants to stay out of the mob and is out to kill him. He thinks Sonny has to fight back. Over at Sonny's, he and Hannah start to kiss again and Jason comes in. He apologizes to Hannah for what happened with Carly. Jason asks Sonny if everything is ok. Sonny plays dumb.

Carly sneaks back into the mansion. As she is fixing her face, AJ comes in and says "thanks for showing up at your own engagement party." She makes up a story saying that she always dreamed of a life like this and when she realized tonight that it was coming true, she started crying because she was overwhelmed. To avoid embarrassing the family, she went to the boat house. She cries through this whole story. AJ believes her and hugs her. Jason waits for Sonny, upset that Sonny did not tell him about the bomb in his car. Jason tells Sonny that he Needs to take his territory back now! They argue and Benny comes in Sonny informs him that Jason is a neighbor and nothing else.

Emily and Jason have lunch together. Jason asks her to leave Carly alone and to try to make an effort to keep things smooth for Michael's sake. He needs her to try to make life at the Q's as comfortable as possible for his son. She agrees to try. Later on they return to the mansion where there is a cute scene with Jason and Michael. Its one of those great natural moments where Michael grabs Jason's nose and grunts "naaa" and Jason says "yes, that's my nose" after which the baby immediately goes for Jason's eye and says "eye" and then baby swings his hand onto Jason's head and so on. Jason then takes a flower out of an arrangement for the baby to smell.

AJ asks Carly to sign the pre-nup for the sake of their family, that he is doing this to impress Edward and it will strengthen AJ's position in the family. Carly admits to Bobbie that she loves Jason but he only sees her as a friend and that AJ wants her. Later Bobbie gives Carly a lace hanky with her soon to be new initials embroidered on it. Lila also drops by to welcome Carly to the family and gives a gift of "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" all wrapped into one: a diamond & sapphire necklace and earring set. Carlie looks beautiful by the way, in a strapless gown with a satin bodice and full skirt made of layers of tooling.

The music plays, the guests stand and Carly makes her entrance (unescorted). She looks very nervous and starts to walk up the aisle. Carly made a beautiful bride as she and AJ were married. She refused to sign the pre-nup though. Katherine gives Carly a gift certificate for a makeover at the Deception Spa. She advises Carly to make something of herself. Otherwise she'll always be known as a former Quartermaine wife. Carly looks nervous as AJ tells her that he has booked the honeymoon suite at the Port Charles hotel for the night. He would have liked to take her somewhere further but he knew that she'd worry what Jason might do with Michael if they left town. Emily sincerely tells Carly that she looks beautiful but Carly doesn't take the compliment graciously and responds with a snide remark expecting Emily is being sarcastic. Bobbie whisks Carly away and Emily tells AJ she loves him and will try to be nicer to Carly. AJ knows Carly has a long memory and won't make it easy for Emily. As the guests start to leave en masse, Bobbie beckons them back so that Carly can throw her bouquet. Carly complains she really wanted to keep her bouquet. Carly throws the bouquet and V catches it. Everyone starts to leave again. Carly tells Bobbie that they make not like her, but they can't ignore her anymore as she is no longer Caroline Benson, she is now Carly Quartermaine. V introduces Mr. & Mrs. Alan Quartermaine Jr. They depart in a shower of rice.
