Robert &
Anna's Memorial and Ghostly Returns, AMC Reunions #9C March 30, 1992 -
October 8, 2001 - 4 hours
March 30 -
April 3, 1992 Robert & Anna's Memorial
Tiffany comforts Sean as he replays the events over and over in his mind,
feeling that he should have been able to prevent their deaths. Sean hopes that
Mac will come to terms with their deaths. After they leave, Holly collapses and
sobs in grief over losing Robert once again. Music montage as Tiffany turns to
Sean and sobs her grief in his arms, Mac sits alone, stunned, Holly sits
grieving with tears streaming down her cheeks, she then stares out the window as
Robin and Friday come downstairs and sit somberly in the dark.
The next morning, Bill calls Paul to tell him the news of Robert and Anna's
deaths. The Quartermaines are stunned to read about their deaths in the morning
paper, and it is all over the morning news. Mac comes downstairs and turns the
tv off, not wanting to hear talk of a funeral for them. A shaky Tiffany goes on
air to talk about her friends and pay tribute to them. Mac continues to deny
that they have died. Holly points out that Sean has experience in these things
and he believes the evidence. Mac retorts that he knows Robert and he survived
the plane crash that killed their parents and Anna is also a trained agent, and
yells at Holly that they aren't dead! Robin comes downstairs and overhears this
and hopefully asks if there has been news? Mac tells her that his gut tells him
that they aren't dead. She is confused and asks then why do Sean and Tiffany
believe they are? Holly explains the evidence and that they believe the
evidence. Robin decides she too will believe they are alive and bounds upstairs
before Holly can try to disuade her. Holly turns on Mac and accuses him of being
irresponsible for giving Robin false hope. She says that if he was alive that
Robert would have called, that he never would have put Robin through this. Holly
reams him that if he is going to cling to this fantasy to leave Robin out of it
and to keep it to himself at the memorial service. Mac says that will be easy as
he isn't going to any memorial service since they aren't dead!
At GH, Steve comforts Bobbie. Back at the Q's, they tell Jason the sad news
about Robin's parents. Scotty expresses his condolences to Ruby when he stops
into Kelly's. Lila shows up at the PCPD to pay her respects to Sean. Sean and
Tiffany are both touched by her concern. Bobbie arrives at the Scorpio's to see
Robin. She tells her that she can come stay at the brownstone if she would like.
Robin shocks Bobbie with the news that isn't necessary since her parents aren't
really dead. When Robin explains Mac's beliefs, she asks what does Sean and
Tiffany say about this? Robin reports that they believe the evidence but Robin
doesn't and she will never believe that her parents are dead and storms out.
Holly sits somberly down on the docks in the fog. Bill Eckert joins her and
offers a tissue to dry her tears. He tells her how sorry he is and he knows
there is nothing to be said. She relieves him of the burden of trying to make
her feel better, and tells him it is so complicated. She found Robert again
after all of these years and it wasn't like she thought she had a chance with
him again but still grieves the loss of losing him and losing any chance of
being with him again. He offers to take her to Kelly's and tells her she needs a
nice cosy table and a cup of coffe. When they arrive, Scotty is unusually kind
when offering his sympathy and asks if there is anything he can do. Once seated,
a frustrated Holly tells Bill about Mac's refusal to believe that Robert and
Anna have died and his belief is confusing Robin. Bill offers to try to talk to
Mac. When Mac joins them, Bill toasts to R&A's memory and Mac toasts to
life.
The next day, poor Sean struggles to write a eulogy. Connor stops by and offers
Sean his condolences and also asks if there is anything he can do. Back at the
Scorpio's, Holly comes into Robin's room. Robin warns her that if she is there
to discuss the memorial that Robin isn't going and neither is Mac. Robin tells
her that her parent's bodys weren't found and they aren't dead! Robin tells her
that the people who go to the memorial service are going to feel stupid when her
parents come back. Meanwhile, Mac stops to see Bill at Kelly's and tells him
that he didn't want to get into this with Holly there yesterday but Robert and
Anna aren't dead! Bill is relieved to hear it and asks what about the memorial?
Mac declares that is a waste of time. Bill is encouraged by Mac's insistence
that R&A are alive. Bill offers to call a contact in South America.
Sean tells Tiffany that Robin is refusing to attend the memorial and figures he
has Mac to thank for that. Sean says that Holly wants him to come over and talk
to her, Tiffany offers to go with him. When he arrives to see Robin, she asks if
he is going to talk her into going to the service? He tells her that he won't
make her go as everyone grieves in different ways. She insists that she isn't
grieving as there is nothing to grieve for! Sean tells her how much he loves her
parents, that her father was his best friend. Sean goes through the details of
the boat explosion. Robin reminds him of when R&A swam all the way from
France to Italy. Sean tells her again that they searched for them, for bodies
and nothing was found that they are gone and there was no way for them to have
survived. Robin begins to cry as Sean's words sink in. Mac waits impatiently for
Bill's contact in Curacas to call back. When he does, he confirms that there
were no survivors from the explosion. Mac thanks him but tells him that he still
hasn't heard anything that will make him change his mind. Finian finds him down
on the docks and tells him how sorry he is. Mac tells him not to believe
everything he hears. Meanwhile, Sean continues to struggle to write the eulogy
and Connor stops by again offering sandwiches and emotional support.
Sean tells Holly that Robin is dealing with it and is coming to terms with it in
her own time. Later, Robin asks Holly if Mac will be mad at her for going to the
memorial? She never thought anything bad could happen to her mom and dad but she
was wrong and they are never coming back. Robin is worried about Mac's reaction
as he is her only family now. Holly leaves and Robin puts on "Live and Let
Die", when Holly hears it she sobs at the door. In her room, Robin
collapses on the bed hugging Friday and crying. The day of the memorial, Sean
has flashbacks to him and Robert camping it up as they faced a firing squad.
Robin remembers talking to R&A after finding out that they were her parents.
Downstairs, Holly also remembers her goodbye to Robert when she left Port
Charles for Australia in September, 1985 (when she left the show) and they tell
each other how much they loved each other (Robert joined her a few months later
when Tristan left the show in December, 1985). When Mac comes in, she asks him
to reconsider attending the memorial for Robin's sake as she is going. Mac is
adamant in his refusal. Holly warns him that if he doesn't go, that one day he
will regret it. She points out that the photos clearly showed R&A on the
boat moments before it exploded. He sternly tells her that he doesn't need any
reminders as he will never forget his brother. Holly somberly tells him that he
has forgotten how to cry. When Sean and Tiffany arrive, Tiff tells Mac that she
wishes he would come. He says that he can't. Sean admits that he was hoping Mac
would be there for moral support. Mac assures him that he knows Sean will do a
good job. Robin comes downstairs and Tiffany tells her that she is so glad she
is going with them. Robin tells Mac that she hopes he isn't mad at her for
going? He assures her that he isn't. She says that she wishes he was going to be
there. Before Holly leaves, Mac tells her that he really is sorry. Holly tells
him that while Robin is being very brave that she needs Mac.
Everyone in town has arrived for the service and the church is full. The
memorial begins with full police honors. Meanwhile, Mac sits home having his own
flashbacks of various scenes with Robert and Anna from the past year. Mac fights
believing they are gone and throws himself on the floor to do pushups saying
repeatively, "They are alive! They are alive" still trying to hold
onto that belief. Sean begins his eulogy and talks about Robert and Anna's early
years, this is followed by flashbacks of them first meeting. As he speaks, Alan
has a flashback to Anna saving the day after a hostage situation at GH. Holly
flashesback to Robert telling her that he loved her more than life itself. Sean
to R&A visiting him in the hospital after he was shot, Bobbie when he had to
take Lucas away from her, Lila remmebers toasting at Anna's bridal shower, Robin
remembers scenes with her father and then rushing into Anna's arms on the docks
at the conclusion of the Asian Quarter storyline. Mac shows up just in time to
say his goodbyes to Robert and Anna. He also promises take care of Robin. He
goes to sit with Robin and with tears streaming down her face she thanks him for
coming. A great gospel song is sung, set to a montage of various R&A scenes
over the years. An officer presents Robin with a folder flag and Mac says,
"Let's go home, Love."
November 10 - 22, 1995 - Robin learns she is HIV+, Robert and Anna's ghostly
returns
While Stone is upstairs sleeping, Robin answers the door and finds Alan on the
doorstep. He comes in and gives her the bad news, she is HIV+. An angry
Robin declares that there must be a mistake. Alan gently tries to counsel
her but she's far too upset. She doesn't know if she can be honest with
Stone and tell him the test results. Robin is in supreme denial over Alan's
diagnosis that she's HIV+. She thanks Alan for stopping by and after
offering a hug and his continuing support, he leaves. Then she breaks down
and the tears start flowing. While Robin is sitting on the couch, still crying
and contemplating the ring Stone gave her, Stone comes downstairs. He
tells her about a dream he had, about the two of them going over a waterfall
together, and a yellow fish and a blue fish talking to each other. He woke
up and realized the fish voices were downstairs; he had heard Robin talking to
someone. Stone tells her about a gym dream he had. Alan, Sonny, Brenda
& Mary Mae are all at the gym pumping iron. Stone is watching Robin on
a bike, realizing her inner strength. Stone goes back upstairs and Robin starts
tearing up again. She cries out for her mom's help.
Robin's crying and desperately wants her mom. From behind, we see Anna
putting her arms around Robin to comfort her. Anna tells her daughter how much
she loves her. Robin tells her that she loves her too, and how much she loves
Stone. Robin is worried about telling Stone about the virus and tells her that
she wasn't careful, that it is her fault and she doesn't want Anna to blame
Stone. Anna doesn't, Robin loves him and he loves her and that is all that
matters to Anna. Robin wishes that Anna could have known him. Robin tells her
how scared she is and asks her to make the HIV go away. Anna encourages her
strength. Robin says that maybe she just wants to die and be with her. Anna
assures her that she is with her all of the time and that underneath Robin's
tears there is a blazing will to leave. Anna tells her how proud she is of her,
what an honorable person she has grown into. She notices the ring that Stone
gave to Robin. Robin wonders what she will do now? Anna promises her that she
will make a difference in the world, to be a teacher, and that she will leave a
long long time, and she will always be loved. The vision of Anna is gone and
Robin curls up on the couch.
Later, Robin says "Daddy I'm so scared" and Robert appears, replying
"Why shouldn't you be?" She's not scared of being HIV+ (well she
is terrified) but is afraid of telling Mac and hurting him as Mac has felt like
he's let Robert down. Robert then gets Robin to consider what it would be
like if she withheld the information from Mac now, only for him to find out down
the road. Robin realizes Mac will feel even more that he's let Robert
down. They agree there is no easy way or right way to do it. Robert
sits down beside her as he reminds her he and Anna taught Robin to value truth
and honesty. When Robert calls her brave Robin doesn't feel brave so
Robert talks about the different kinds of courage, especially the courage to do
what is right and the courage to support others. Robert feels Mac hasn't
failed him and will do right by Robin. He enourages Robin to trust Mac.
Robert kisses Robin and walks off towards the terrace doors and is gone.
Robin calls Mac at the Outback and tells him that she needs to see him. After
telling Mac that he there because of her not Stone they sit down. Robin
manages to tell Mac why she had Alan give her another HIV test and that she's
HIV+. Mac is clearly stunned but it's only a moment before he gathers her
in his arms. Robin's sorry but Mac won't blame anyone, not her and not
Stone. He loves her. What's happened has happened. He points
out that she and Mac are luckier than Stone who didn't have any of the
advantages she has, love and care. She has time, love, strength and courage.
Robin has doubts but Mac doesn't because she has him and he promises he will
never let her down. Robin now wants Mac's help. Should she tell
Stone the truth? Robin is concerned about hurting Stone but also
can't see herself lying to him and
tiptoeing around the truth. When Robin talks of no lies between her and
Stone so far, Mac points out that may be her answer. She should think
about it but do what her heart tells her is right. Whatever her decision
Mac will be there to help her. As Mac and Robin hold each other again
Robert is seen watching them.
Mac comes to see Robin, and asks about Stone. He hugs Robin and asks
"Are you holding on okay?"
"I'm holding on for dear life", she replies. When she's gone
back to a now-sleeping Stone, Mac asks "Robbie, where are you when I need
you?" and a blond Robert appears and says, "I'm right here."
Robert and Mac discuss that Mac has not failed, that Robin is a lovely young
lady, that Mac is still needed.
Robin, having awakened, leaves Stone's bed to go look out the window. Anna
wraps her arms around Robin and wishes her "Merry Christmas" and love,
peace and joy, though it's only the day before Thanksgiving. Anna and
Robin talk of the Christmas party Robin is throwing as Robin realizes that Stone
won't make it to Christmas. Anna reminds Robin that Stone will always be
with Robin. Robin comments, just like her mom and dad. They then
recall the first Christmas Robin spent with Anna, knowing Anna was her mom and
that the love Robin got was the best present. Anna urges Robin to have no
regrets an to accept the gifts Stone has given Robin, love and hope. Anna
tries to convince Robin that there is hope for life and good work to do and time
and friends and knowledge that the love one gives comes back 1000 fold.
Robin has something to celebrate.
Robin is checking out the tree when Robert asks, "What are you looking for
little girl?" He tries guessing her wishes but strikes out. What
Robin wishes for is complicated. He recalls that when she was little
Christmas was simple. Robin's wishes are that her mom and dad could be with her,
she could have Christmas with Stone, have 100 more Christmases with Stone, and
quiet in her head. Robert wish is that he could grant her wishes.
He's amazed at her strength and courage and allows that there is plenty of time
for sadness. His wish is to put her heart as ease and that's why he's given her
his brother and his best friend. The doorbell rings. Robert is gone.
Luke is at the door. He's early. Lucky will be along later but Laura
(who was among the afternoon visitors) is caught up in her term paper.
Luke came early to talk. Luke and Robin discuss her test results. He
remarks she is a Scorpio and her family manages to take bad situations and turn
them around. Robin talks of thinking about her parents and Luke reminds
her of his promise to be there for her. He's not going anywhere.
Robin heads off to help Stone get ready and as soon as she's gone Robert appears
to Luke. Luke will do anything for Robin and wonders if he should break a
cardinal rule and try to see a lesson in all this. Luke always thought he
could protect his loved ones but Robert tells Luke that all Robin needs is a
friend, as he puts his arm on Luke's shoulder.
Filly, Maxie, Katherine and Mac arrive for Stone's early Christmas celebration.
Lily is already there. It's Maxie with a child's innocence who asks if
Stone is still sick and later asks if Stone can get better like she did?
Robin just hugs Maxie. Lucky arrives with Foster in costume as Rudolph. Sonny
comes out with roasted pig to oohs and ahs. Before they dig in Mac
proposes a toast to Robin and Stone and as he finished Robert is seen watching
over the group from the stairs.
March 26, 1999 Mac & Felicia talk about R&A on the anniversary of
their deaths, as Faison returns to town
Felicia is worried about Mac as he struggles with the anniversary of Robert and
Anna's death at the hands of Cesar Faison. Felicia has made him a romantic
dinner. While eating dinner, Mac tells Felicia that he called Robin today, since
it's the anniversary of Robert and Anna's death. Felicia asks how is she and Mac
tells her that she seems to be holding it together. He reminisces about Robert
when they were younger and tells Felicia that he was going through files in his
office, and it occurred to him that Robert may have worked on the same files. He
then tells Felicia that it all came back to him about how much he loved Robert,
and admired him. Now there’s a big empty space inside him now. He goes on
to explain that one of the files Robert had was Cesar Faison's. Felicia tells
Mac she remembers how happy Robert and Anna were, and how happy they were with
their careers and Robin. They had so much love for each other and they had each
other, until that demon took it away from them. Mac tells her at least Robert
and Anna didn't die in vain, they took Faison with them. Unbeknownst to
Mac and Felicia, Faison is back from the grave, and begins plotting once more.
An arrogant Faison is drinking champagne, in memory of his greatest triumph. The
woman who is with him asks him what was that. He won't tell his her what it was,
only that the best is yet to come.
March 29, 1999 On the anniversary of Scorpio's death, Luke tells Lucky
about how he met Robert and how Cesar murdered Robert and Anna
Luke is alone at his club drinking a toast to Robert. It clearly isn't his
first. He is interrupted by a knock on the door. He tell the person to go away,
but changes his mind when he sees that it is Lucky. Lucky asks if he is
interrupting and Luke says that he was just having a drink with an old
friend. Faison's "companion" asks him to tell her about Robert
Scorpio. Faison says that there is nothing to tell. Robert is dead along with
his wife. Swimming with the fishes. There was a magnificent explosion
which the world thinks also killed him.
Luke tells Lucky that it was seven years ago that Robert died. He tells Lucky
that he almost named him Robert, but at the time, Laura thought it would be a
good idea to have two Lucas Lorenzos on the earth. Lucky says that he always
loved the fact that Robert and Luke hated each other at first. He asks Luke how
he and Robert met. Luke laughs and says that he came home one night to his seedy
little apartment, not unlike the one that Lucky is hanging out in, and found an
Australian in his face with a firearm the size of a Buick. Luke jumped him, but
it didn't work because Robert had a trained guerilla with him. The next thing
Luke knew, he came to with a bump on his head and the two goons were gone. Lucky
asks if that was the first time Robert asked him about the Ice Princess. Luke
said that it was and then goes on to tell how he retaliated for the assault by
sneaking into Robert's room and pistol whipping him. Luke laughs at the memory
and pours himself another shot while Lucky asks him if it took a while for him
to figure out that Robert was from the WSB. Luke says yes and explains that
Robert had this partner named O' Reily, a woman, who was killed. She
underestimated a Cassadine. After that he and Robert got on board this Cassadine
yacht to search for the Ice Princess. While they were at sea, Luke found out
that Laura, who had promised him to stay at home, had stowed away. Luke gets a
far away look in his eyes and says that he misses those days.
Lucky asks Luke if he ended meeting Laura after they got to the island and
Robert let himself get captured. Luke says that that was Laura's version. Luke
wishes Lucky could have met Robert. Lucky would have found him incredibly
annoying and interesting. Robert was unique. Lucky remembers when Luke found out
about Robert's death while they were living in Canada. He knows it was an
explosion. He asks what happened. Luke explains that an old enemy of Robert's,
Cesar Faison, caught up with him. Luke doesn't know Faison (at least he thinks
he doesn't), but he heard that Faison took Robert's wife Anna, who was also with
the WSB. Robert chased them and rather than give Anna up, Faison blew up the
boat with all three of them on it. Luke changes the subject and asks why Lucky
isn't with Liz. Lucky explains that Liz is at home working on a project and that
he promised to bring her cheese fries. Lucky asks Luke if he wants to get some
air and walk him back, but Luke assures him that he is fine. After Lucky leaves,
Luke takes another drink and tells Robert that Lucky is a real good boy. Robert
would have liked him.
August 6 and 9, 1999 Felicia and Mac finally come face to face with Faison in
a warehouse
Faison comes out and says hello to Felicia. She realizes that he set her up to
follow him. He makes sure she knows she is not a prisoner by opening the door
for her. She says she's not leaving without some answers. He points out that she
could be called an intruder or trespasser then, She asks him where Anna and
Robert are and he shrugs his shoulders, "I haven't received any Christmas
cards from them." He starts talking about Robert and his vendetta against
Faison and how sad it was that Anna threw herself away on Robert and if he had
any comment on their deaths it would be good riddance. He starts to touch her
face and talk about her beauty being wasted on the Scorpios and Mac rushes in
and says, " Cesar Faison." Mac arrives and rescues Felicia from Faison
and threatens to arrest him for abduction and murder. When Faison refuses to
divulge any information regarding the deaths of Robert and Anna, Felicia insists
that his schemes are part of an elaborate mind game that he has been plotting
for years. Faison claims that he was in South Africa when Robert and Anna died
and that he had nothing to do with the ship's explosion. Felicia urges her
husband not to lose his temper after being provoked by Faison's vicious taunts.
Mac demands to know if his brother survived the explosion and Faison replies
with a tale implying that both Robert and Anna are dead. Mac responds by hitting
Faison and then arresting him.
AMC Robin & Anna's Reunion May 30-June 4, 2001
At Wildwind, Anna
sat in the chair still gazing at the photo of Robin. The doorbell rang and she
asked Stella to answer the door. She heard a girl's voice asking for Edmund Grey
and Anna flashed back to a scene from her past. She saw herself with a small
child, running to her and speaking. At the door the girl was told that Mr. Grey
wasn't in the house at the moment but he'd be right back. Stella offered to have
the girl wait but she refused saying she probably shouldn't have come anyway.
Anna was too stunned to move as she realized she was hearing her daughter's
voice. Robin thanked Stella and began walking away from the door.
Unable to let Robin simply walk away, Anna made a frantic dash to the door. She
called out Robin's name just as Robin was walking down the walkway and away from
the house. Robin froze in her tracks, unable to look back to see who had called
her name. When she did, she sobbed that the vision of her mother must have been
a hallucination. Overcome, Robin started to collapse to the ground. Anna raced
towards her daughter and caught her in her arms. The two embraced and cried at
their happy reunion. Later, they went inside and Robin spoke about returning to
Port Charles and reuniting with the rest of their family and loved ones. Alex
joined in on the visit and Robin did a double take. She had never known that her
mother had a twin sister. Alex tried to help Robin understand what was
happening. It was explained to Robin that the people who had tried to kill Anna
were still on the loose. Robin found it difficult to come to terms with the fact
that she would have to carry on as though her mother were still dead. In the
foyer, Ilene Pringle gasped as she spotted the two Devane sisters in the same
room.
At Wildwind, Alex, Anna, and Robin are talking. Alex suggests they move the
conversation to the turret as a safety precaution. Robin is surprised, saying,
"She's not even safe in the house?"
Anna responds, "Only a handful of people know I'm alive. Thank God, you're
one of them." Eileen, the assassin, is listening in the foyer. She stumbles
and makes a noise. Anna and Robin duck behind the sofa. Alex goes into the
foyer, putting Eileen into an arm lock against the door. Alex demands to know
who she is and what she is doing there. Eileen says she is going to shoot a
documentary on Gillian and was supposed to meet her there to scout locations.
Anna asks for an ID. Eileen wants to look around, but Alex says it's not a good
day. Gillian comes in and Anna says, "I don't mean to be rude, but we're
not receiving visitors today."
Meanwhile, Anna and Robin go to the stables. Anna asks Robin if she likes to
ride. Robin says she does and also bungee jumps from bridges and races
motorcycles. Anna says, "That sounds dangerous."
Robin says, "It's pretty tame compared to your life."
Anna says, "I can't believe that after all these years I'm still a moving
target. I don't know who's after me. That makes it really dangerous." Robin
suggests that Anna should come back to Paris with her. Anna admits that she'd
love to go to Paris, but she can't.
Robin tells her, "I want my mother with me. I'm not going to leave
you."
Anna says she must, Robin must leave now for her own safety. She'll come to
Robin when it's safe. Robin questions, "Why do you keep doing this? Why did
you have me if your whole life is going to be about leaving me?"
Anna hugs Robin and says, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. Just give
me a chance to turn everything around and I'll come to you and be your
mother."
Robin, with tears in her eyes, says, "Mom, you have no idea what I've been
through."
Anna replies, "I know all the risks I've exposed you to."
Robin cuts in, "Means nothing. I know all about life and death, Mom. I'm
HIV positive."
Robin tells Anna that she is HIV positive and that she really needs her right
now. Anna comforts Robin and tells her everything would be all right. She told
Anna that she had known she was positive for a few years now. She was on the
"Cocktail" to prevent her from getting full-blown AIDS. Robin didn't
want Anna to worry. Having had a good life, she felt lucky that she had Anna
back now. Just then Edmund entered the room. He told Robin he was glad she came
and that they could be together again. Keeping Anna alive was his top priority
now, so he hoped Robin wasn't upset that he didn't tell her that her mother was
alive. Anna explained that they just wanted to keep Robin out of harms way.
Robin had met Alex earlier and said that it was certainly a day full of
surprises. Edmund decided it was time to leave so Anna and Robin could catch up
on everything. After he left the room, Anna made some tea. She then proceeded to
tell Robin how hard Maria's death had been on Edmund. His second love didn't end
well, either. It seemed there was always sadness in Edmund's eyes. Anna felt it
was a shame because Edmund was such a good guy. Robin asked if Anna was in love
with Edmund? Anna smiled and said that due to the shape of her mind lately,
being in love with Edmund was impossible. Robin thought she could sense it in
the way they looked at each other. Anna explained that it was Alex Edmund was in
love with.
Anna began to reminisce about the last time she had seen Robin. Robin had been
16. Then it was Robin's turn to reflect on her past. She said she had been
lonely after her parents had "died", but that Uncle Max took good care
of her. She had good grades and had never been in any trouble until she met
Stone. Anna asked if Stone was the one with HIV. Robin nodded. Then she asked
where he was now and Robin replied that Stone was dead. She had loved him very
much. Robin went on to say that Stone had lived on the streets. He was a
runaway. He had had a girlfriend who used drugs. When he got really sick, he
tried to push her away, but she was too much in love by that time. Robin had
been with him when he died. She felt very lucky that she had been in love with
such a beautiful person. If she had to do it again, she wouldn't do anything
different. Anna caressed Robin's face and told her she was sorry for not being
there for her. Robin was glad Anna was back. Now maybe they could be a family.
Anna was pleased at the thought. She felt they had lots of years ahead of them
to catch up on what they missed. Edmund returned and wanted to know if Robin had
a cell phone. He explained that security found out there had been a call made to
England from Wild Wind. It had been scrambled and they needed to find out who
made the call. There obviously was someone on the grounds they were uncertain
of. Anna then told Robin she could not stay there. It was much too dangerous and
she would have to leave, now. Disappointed, Robin argued that she had just found
her mother again and didn't want to leave. Anna assured her that once they found
out who was chasing her they would get together again. Robin needed to leave to
be safe. Anna promised she would come to Paris in two weeks and they would be
together again. She would never leave her again. Robin finally agreed to go back
to Paris. Before leaving, she gave Anna her bracelet. They tearfully embrace and
say goodbye. Then Robin left with Edmund. After they were gone, Anna paced the
floor and then burst into tears.
AMC Anna & Mac Reunion 10/8/01
As Anna was about to unlock the door to her
room, she noticed the door was ajar. Cautiously entering the room, she saw a
shadowy figure walk by the door. Picking up the fireplace poker, she hid behind
the door and waited. As the intruder entered her living room, she struck him
with the poker and knocked him to the sofa. As the intruder struggled, he looked
up at her. Anna suddenly realized it was Mac. Upset, Anna explained that she
thought Mac was an intruder. He told her he came to Pine Valley to find her.
Anna explained that it had been a difficult time for her. She found out she had
a brother she knew nothing of, Alex had gone to Europe with Dimitri and she had
just moved into the suite. She had lots of things to work out. Mac told her he
was upset that when she finally remembered Robert was dead, she notified him by
email. He couldn't understand who she turned herself into to survive. Anna
apologized for handling that so badly.
After she had remembered what happened, she wanted to tell Robin in person. She
should have done the same for him. She now realized she only had enough courage
left for her. She felt she was a coward. Mac told her he could call her a lot of
things, but coward was not one of them. Then he asked for a hug. Anna asked how
everyone was. Mac stated he was not going there. She had to go back home with
him. It was time to put things aside and just go home. Anna replied that she
couldn't go home with him. Not now - not ever. She couldn't go back to Port
Charles again. Now that she had found out who she was again, she felt she was
where she needed to be. Mac wanted to know if she was staying in Pine Valley
because she met someone. She denied that, but told him at one point she thought
