Robert & Anna #4 May 30 –July ?, 1991 - The Wedding! - 8 hour original edit Robert and Mac are on the run in the woods. Robert is still in great pain from the gunshot wound and Mac is continually on him to take his pain meds and his antibiotics. Mac is curious about what Robert thinks will happen after this is all over, and hints about them having a future relationship. Robert is noncommittal, worried about getting out of their current predicament. They continue to hike through the woods and come upon a large estate, “Serenity”. Mac is insistent that they go up to the estate if for no other reason than to call Sean and tell him about Paul Hornsby’s involvement in the ELQ sabotage. Robert reminds him that they are on the run and says no to the idea. Mac refuses to take orders from Robert and says he is tired of sleeping on the ground and he is going to the estate! As Mac crosses the meadow, Anna sees Mac and runs across the meadow and tackles him. She demands to know where Robert is, he comes whistling along and she jumps into his arms. He tells her about the gunshot wound and horrified she looks at Mac, “You shot your brother?” She notices the camaraderie between them and asks what happened? Robert tells a surprised Anna that Mac saved his life and they are working on his differences. Robert tells her this has all been a setup to kill them and that Paul Hornsby is behind all of it. Robert draws her into his arms and begins kissing her as she tells him how much she has missed him. Mac, feeling uncomfortable as the murmur words of love, leaves to go up to the house. He finds Dominique in the garden and tells her that his car broke down. He continues to tell her that he is from Australia and isn’t familiar with the area and is looking for a place to sleep and get a meal. She invites him to come inside for a cup of tea. Mac tells her about Robert and Anna, and they all enter the stately house together. They are disappointed to find out that there isn’t a phone. Dom invites them for dinner and Anna thanks her and assures her they will leave afterwards. Robert asks where they will be going? Dom tells them that the next country inn is 20 miles away and invites them to stay the night. Dom shows them all upstairs, and takes Robert and Anna to their room. Once alone, he grabs her down to the bed and starts kissing her. Anna gives him grief for not telling her where he was going and how worried she was about him. She stops complaining as he continues to kiss her though she does say he should have trusted her. He insists that he does but he knew she would follow after him. They continue kissing and tell each other how much they missed each other. He tells her to not every underestimate the power of a Scorpio in love. She asks if he is really in love with her and he responds, “Totally, uncontrollably and irrevocably!” Anna wants info about Paul Hornsby but Robert is more interested in making out. The local Sheriff shows up at Serenity and questions Dom if she has seen the Scorpio brothers. She asks if they are armed? He says no and she seems relieved and tells him that she hasn’t seen them. Later, Robert, Anna, and Robert gather and they fill her in on Paul Hornsby hiring Mac to sabotage the ship and they believe he is behind the false bank records. Robert declares he has to get back to Port Charles 100% exonerated. Mac asks what about his fate? Anna snarks that after what he has put them through he will be lucky if he gets off with a life sentence! Robert jumps to his defense that after all Mac has saved Robert’s life and if Mac spills everything he knows then he might get off with a light sentence. Dom comes in with evening clothes for them all and tells them that the dress for dinner and ask if they would mind? They agree though after she leaves, Anna continues to be very suspicious about the situation: a young girl leaving all alone in a remote area with no telephone, who so trustingly invites strangers to stay for the night. The foursome enjoys a beautiful candlelit dinner, complete with soft lights, music and dancing. Two more men come to Dom’s door and question her about whether she has seen two strangers and once again she denies having seen them and returns to dance in Mac’s arms. Later, Anna comes in and tells Robert that she drove out to check out the area and there are roadblocks everywhere and she couldn’t get to a phone to contact Sean. They are stuck there until they can get a hold of Sean. The maid comes in and tells them that there is champagne and caviar on the terrace, though she has hot tea for the ailing Robert. He says, “Oh goody!” Robert and Anna hear a phone ringing, when they ask the maid about it she says that it was just the oven timer. Robert and Anna hear the phone again and find a hidden phone in a desk drawer in the study. When Mac comes in, they tell him about the phone and he tells them that Dom is deaf and has been able to cover it as she reads lips very well. When she comes in Robert begins to question her about the phone, the maid comes in and tells them that Taub has returned home and she urgently ushers them upstairs to hide. As Leopold Taub arrives, he orders the grounds immediately searched. He asks Dom if she has had any adventures this past week? She says nothing has happened. He tells her that a drifter has been murdered nearby and he returned home with several of his men to assure her protection. Mac is shocked to hear that Taub is her husband! They are eager to leave, but Dom urges them to wait as it is too dangerous. They pick up that she is afraid of her husband, she begs Mac not to judge her without knowing everything. Dom urges them to wait till the afternoon as she is sure that he and his men will be gone by then. One of Taub’s guards reports that he has found a car hidden at the edge of the woods. Robert is determined to get out of there and turn themselves in. He says that they have to get word to Sean so that the police know they are coming in voluntarily. Mac says he isn’t going with Robert that he is going to head to Canada! Robert has a fit and says that he needs Mac as she heard Rory’s deathbed confession and Robert needs his testimony or they will hang Robert out to dry. Mac agrees that he will return with Robert and help him. They use the hidden phone to call Sean and tell him about Paul’s involvement. Robert is also sure that Paul is working for someone. They say their goodbyes to Dominique and leave the estate. They gang have fun on their return to Port Charles, singing “Waltzing Matilda” in the car, stopping for burgers at a diner, then getting very lost and they pull over to wait out a rainstorm. While Anna sleeps, Mac tells Robert how much he was drawn to Dominique. Sean tells Tiffany about Paul’s involvement and Sean feels responsible as he investigated Sean and cleared him. Sean calls Paul and demands he come over to the penthouse to meet with Sean that night. Once there, Sean questions Paul about how much he paid Mac. Paul resents the questions and indicates Sean has no right to question him. Sean says that he has every right as he is the one who brought Paul to Port Charles! Paul plays ignorant and denies any involvement. Sean continues laying out the whole plan he thinks Paul was involved in with setting up Robert and Mac and then informs him that Mac and Robert killed his hit man, Rory. Paul is obviously surprised by this bit of news but continues to play dumb. Robert, Anna, and Mac check into an inn. They are told the phone lines are down because of the storm. Once alone in their room, Robert begins to babble as he tries to tell Anna how much she has come to mean to him. He gets down on one knee and proposes and she accepts! Sean calls Frisco and asks him to come over and tells him that they have to get the dirt on Paul in order to prove the setup and he needs Frisco’s help. When Robert calls he asks him to wait about three hours while Sean further tracks down the source of the money. Sean traces the money to a Robert Turner. However, when Sean shows up to question Turner, he finds him dead! A very nervous senator hears about Turner’s murder and calls Paul very upset that he didn’t sign on for murder. Paul is very blasé about it, something that just had to be done and the Senator doesn’t need to worry about it. Robin has a great time with Sean and Tiffany as there is LOTS of shopping involved! Robert and Anna share a happy reunion with their daughter and tell her about their wedding plans. She is overjoyed and wants to hear all about the proposal. Anna asks Robin to be her maid of honor. Sean tells them about Frisco suddenly leaving town to take care of some personal business, some mysterious business about his past. When they are alone, Robert suggests to Anna that they not sleep together till they get married for the sake of tradition. She readily agrees and he seems surprised. He repeatedly gives her an out after making the big gesture but she is holding him to it. Robert and Mac stay with the Donnelly’s as Anna and Robin return home. Robert and Sean head over to question the Senator and find him dead as well! They then head over to the PCPD to appear before the Grand Jury on Robert’s case. Mac is eager to do his part in clearing Robert’s name. The DA tells him that Mac just has to show he is still breathing to clear Robert of the murder charges. Robert’s hearing begins, Mac testifies that he and Robert just had a “bare knuckle brawl….a nice ol’ family squabble.” He assures the jury that Robert had no intention of killing him and in fact Mac faked his injury and deliberately fell overboard. Robert testifies that the dead Senator and Mr. Turner were both involved in a conspiracy to fake the financial records making him and Mac look guilty. While they are waiting, Sean offers to play Spencer Tracy for Anna’s wedding and give her away. She is thrilled and hugs him. Tiffany interviews Anna and Robin as they continue to wait. The DA comes out and announces that all charges against Robert have been dropped. Robert and Anna celebrate their new future together with a dinner out. Anna wonders if their engagement is reality, is it real or was it part of the fantasy of being at Serenity? He reminds her of the no-tell motel, hardly a romantic setting. He tells her that through all of the recent trouble, the one thing he kept thinking about is that he wanted one more chance with her. He tells her that over the past few years that he and her have become really good friends. Now, he wants to enjoy all of the traditions and preparations for their wedding. He then suggests they go home and she coyly tells him that she is going to abide by the rules he set up and she is going to go home alone. He gently kisses her hand and starts babbling about being hasty and he has been wrong upon occasion. She rushes out before he can continue his seduction telling him she wants the romance. Robert and Mac appear on Tiffany’s news program with the DA to explain their side of the recent adventures to further clear their names. Next they are off to look at an engagement ring and wedding bands. Anna is hesitant about the jewelry but Robert insists he wants the works, all of the traditions. Anna picks out a ring that is “simple and elegant”, Robert comments just like the wearer. They head to Kelly’s and show Tiffany and Sean her engagement ring and Anna asks Tiffany to be a bridesmaid. Robert assures them there will be an engagement but a brief one! Robert asks Mac to be his Best Man. Dominique arrives in Port Charles having snuck away from her husband. Sean urges her to keep a low profile in Port Charles and not stay in any hotel. Robin asks if she can stay over at Sean and Tiffany’s, leaving Robert and Anna alone for the evening. Anna visits Dominique in her new apartment, she asks Anna what she thinks Mac’s chances are. Anna is straight with her and tells her how serious the charges are against him however she continues that Robert and Sean will do everything they can to help Mac. Anna is concerned that Dominique is cooped up in her apartment, Dom admits she is afraid of her husband. Anna resolves to lend her expertise in disguise and calls Tiffany and Robin over. While Tiffany is conducting the makeover, Robin asks her mother if they can have a big wedding, Anna is noncommittal and doesn’t want to talk about it. Mac’s frustration gives Sean and idea to entrap Paul. They send Mac over wearing a wire to try entrapping Paul into talking about his hiring Mac to sabotage the ELQ Tracy. While they are waiting for Mac, Sean asks Robert what he would like as a wedding gift. Robert declares Mac’s freedom and a new car! Paul is wily and plays dumb and insists he never hired Mac. Mac becomes insistent that Paul helps him leave town before his hearing tomorrow and says that he believes that Robert used him to get cleared of the charges. Paul comes near him and pats him a bit and discovers the wire and calls him on it, his suspicions of Mac’s real loyalties confirmed. Robin and Mac have dinner together and as they wait for Anna, Robin complains that she can’t get her mother to discuss the wedding details. When a very glam Anna arrives, Robin not so subtly brings up the subject of wedding planning again. Anna says that she has decided she wants a wedding to last a lifetime and she wants to have the biggest damn wedding that Port Charles has ever seen! Anna, Felicia, and Bobbie are going to meet to pick out dresses. Robin is eager to get to the wedding planning and is frustrated when her mother insists on going to the PCPD to get an update on Mac’s case. Her mother points out that if Mac isn’t acquitted that there isn’t going to be a wedding! When Anna arrives at the PCPD, Robert asks about her dress shopping plans. She is more interested in helping with Mac’s case and offers to cancel with the girls and stay and work. She points out to Robert that they can’t get married with the Best Man in jail. Robert determines that they will get married on schedule and she is to keep her plans with the girls. At the dress shop, the ladies sip champagne as they discuss the upcoming event. Tiffany asks who else is a bridesmaid? Anna asks if there are any volunteers and both Bobbie and Felicia offer their services. Delphina arrives and presents a fashion show of bridal designs and starts first with going away outfit and day dresses. Anna doesn’t seem found of most of the more tailored suits and looks a bit overwhelmed. Next in the fashion show, the models present the lingerie as the ladies critic the outfits. When they get to the bridal gowns, Dominique has a bridal flashback and runs out. Robert and Mac are busy tracking down leads. They find a guy who was paid to clean out Rory’s room for $100. He pleads ignorance of who paid him. Mac finds a gun and explosives in Rory’s things and Robert takes it in as evidence hoping this is the break they need. The explosives match the same material used in the attack on Robert and the fingerprints are a match for Rory's. When ballistics come in, matches as to the assassination attempts. Robert is hopeful this will clear Mac of the charges but is worried when the DA tells him the judge on Mac’s case as he is the toughest of judges. #4B Everyone gathers for the trial, Anna, Sean, Tiffany, and Robin wait outside. Mac testifies first and comes across as happy to be reunited with his brother. Robert then testifies to the evidence linking Rory to each of the attempts on Robert’s life. Robert then testifies that Mac saved his life in Finger Lakes that Rory shot him and it could have been fatal, and Mac shot Rory in defense of Robert. Robert continues that he and Mac were estranged but have healed the rift between them and Robert knows that Mac was not capable of the attempts on his life. The judge questions whether Mac could have planted the evidence in Rory’s room or even hired Rory to make the attempts on Robert’s life. The judge doesn’t seem too sympathetic towards Mac and leaves to deliberate as they wait his judgment. He returns and tells them that Mac has been cleared of all charges and is a free man! There is much relief afterwards as they share the happy news with their friends. Robert and Anna go to the hotel bar for a celebratory drink and to further discuss wedding plans. Anna is curious if he still wants to get married? He asks her if she is having second thoughts? She denies that and he says that if he thought she was that she would be dragged to the altar. Anna asks where he wants to leave afterwards? He no longer has a place, and he doesn’t feel comfortable at her house as it was hers and Duke’s. He comments that all of his wives have been felons! She asks him what that tells him about himself? He jokes that he must be trying to drum up business. Anna tells him how much she wants to go to bed with him at that moment. She tells him she wants to throw him across the table and have him right then and there in the middle of the restaurant. He tells her how much he wants her in his life, and then they both start mentioning all of the various places they want to make love (everything from a hot air balloon to the library!). Paul reports to Taub that the charges against Mac have been dropped. Taub is concerned that Rory’s sloppiness may provide the Scorpio brothers with a fresh trail that would lead to him and that as long as they are alive they are a clear and present danger to him. Paul assures him there will be additional assassination attempts. Sean comes in to join Robert and Anna. He sees Paul across the room and glares at him. He is not happy to see him with Tracy especially since he has informed the Quartermaines of Paul’s dirty dealings. He tells Robert and Anna that Paul is going to be tough to nail. He urges them to focus on their wedding plans while he continues to go after Paul and he is off. Anna and Robert lament that they could only get Elmwood Park on such short notice. They further lust after each other and Anna moans that she can’t wait until Friday! Monica arrives and offers them to have their wedding at the Quartermaine Shakespearean Botanical Garden and they quickly agree. After Monica leaves, Anna quietly warns Robert that Dominique’s husband has just walked in. They rush out to warn Mac and Dom. When they arrive at Dominique’s, an excited Mac tells them that he has bought a jazz club downstairs. Robert breaks in to tell him about seeing Taub. Mac has meet Connor and after seeing his music video he says that this gives him an idea for his brother’s wedding. Anna and Robin arrive at Robert’s office and Anna wants his invitation list. He hasn’t compiled one and Anna gets annoyed with him as he is the one who wanted a big wedding and he has to help. Robin says that she will handle making the calls and getting the invites out. After Robin leaves, Anna fusses at Robert that he hasn’t done any work on this wedding and they don’t even have a place to live afterwards! After she huffs out, Robert calls the travel agent and begs them to meet him at his office that it is an emergency! Sean arrives and tells Robert that he has stumbled upon some evidence against Mac. It is one of Paul’s private files that is all in code but Sean believes that once the code is broken that it will link Paul to the attempts on Mac and Robert. Robert wants to immediately begin working on it but Sean reminds him that Robert is getting married in a couple of days and he needs to focus on the wedding plans. Sean offers to store the illegally gotten file in the safe in his PI office until after the wedding. Later, Robin comes in and asks what else she can do to help out with the wedding plans? He tells her she has done plenty already but she says she is having fun doing this. She is very happy as she is getting what she always wanted, her parents together. He tells her how much he loves her and how proud of her she is. Mac comes in and after Robin leaves, he tells Robert that Tuab is meeting Paul in the park later that afternoon. Later, Taub threatens Paul’s daughter if he doesn’t continue to cooperate, which explains Paul’s involvement has only been to protect his child. Robert is surprised at this connection but aren’t sure what it means. Anna comes back and Robert tells her he has arranged a two week honeymoon in paradise with the woman he loves. He asks her if she wants to know where it is? She says it doesn’t really matter as they aren’t going to be leaving the bedroom! All of the ladies gather at Tiffany’s and surprise Anna with a bridal shower. Robert meets with the travel agent who tells him it is a little late to book a honeymoon. She asks him what about the Catskills? He says that isn’t good enough. She suggests the most romantic place in the world and he loves the idea (without asking where it is). She says it will be nearly impossible unless there is a cancellation. Robert proceeds to beg as this is really important to him. Afterwards, Mac comes in and tells Robert that Dominique recognized Paul as having visited Taub in Finger Lakes. Robert and Sean are hiding out in the kitchen during the shower. Anna goes to find him and fusses at him again that they don’t have any place to live. He says, “Wrong!” and dangles keys at her. He tells her they are to the three bedroom penthouse next door to Sean’s. Initially, she isn’t happy that he has agreed to a place without consulting with her first but then agrees it is a good choice and seductively asks him what the bedroom looks like? As Anna and Robin are selecting flowers at the florist, Anna gets a creepy vibe that someone is watching her. Faison has arrived in town and calls Taub to check in with him. While Robin and Anna are at lunch, a rare red orchid is delivered to Anna at her table. Anna looks disturbed at the gift while Robin assumes it is from her father. Robin takes Anna shopping but Anna protests that she is not in a shopping mood. Robin urges her that she has to get in the shopping mood as she is going on her honeymoon tomorrow and she can’t wear old clothes. Anna finally agrees but as they are shopping she gets the creepy vibe again as though someone is walking over her grave. At the hotel later, Anna tells Robin she has a chill, a sick feeling but chalks it up to all of the wedding preparations. Taub, Faison and Paul meet up and discuss how perfect Port Charles is for their operations. In a surprising twist, Harlan Barrett walks in and joins the group. They ask Paul to leave so they can talk. Robert is surprised to run into his old Aboriginal friend, Tanganieva in the park. He has come for the wedding and is happy that Mac and Robert have made with each other. Mac meets up with them later, and as he says a sort of blessing on the nuptials he feels a shadowy presence wearing many guises in their future. Sean’s office is broken into and Paul’s files are retrieved and returned to him as the gang is off to the wedding rehearsal (not shown) and the rehearsal dinner at Mac’s new club. Most of the town has arrived, Mac welcomes everyone to the evening. Sean next says a few words wishing them well and welcoming them as his new neighbors. Robin reads a list of rules such as not leaving town but to keep their lives exciting so she has good stories to tell her friends. Then she mentions they should consult with her before adding a brother or sister. Mac makes a toast and tells his brother how much he loves him. Robert is called upon to speak. He determines that this is the second happiest day of his life, the first being tomorrow when he marries Anna. Connor sings a love song as his music video plays in the background (shouldn’t they have had a montage of pictures of Robert and Anna over the years?). Anna and Robert get up and slow dance as other couples join them. The next morning, Delphina fusses over last minute arrangements. Monica and Robin are with Anna as she has a hairdresser helping her get ready. Tiffany, Bobbie, Amy, and Felicia are getting ready in the next room. After the ladies have all finished dressing, Anna arrives and gives her bridesmaids a gift. Robin admits she knows where they are going for their honeymoon and Anna tries to wheedle it out of her. Robin will only say the fewer the clothes the better. Meanwhile, over at the penthouse, Robert is stressing at as he can’t find his cufflinks. Robert then worries as he can’t find the license that he needs in order to get married. Mac assures him that he put it someplace safe. Robert snarks that his cufflinks are probably sitting on top of the license. Robert puts on his very tall hat and complains that it is too tight and doesn’t fit. Sean takes the hat and finds the marriage license in the lining, where Mac had stashed it for safe keeping. Robert is relieved and he and Mac hug. The boys arrive at the Shakespearean Garden and Robert worries that no one is there yet. Mac reminds him that they are an hour early and no one shows up this early. Delphina asks if Robert is always so nervous, and Mac jokes only before he gets married. Robert and Mac stroll through the beautiful garden. They are joined by Tangneiva and a group of Aboriginal men, there to celebrate with Robert. Tanganeiva and his men stand guard at the entrance to the ladies quarters. The festivities begin as the ladies saunter down the staircase as the photographer snaps their pictures. The Quartermaine’s all gather in the garden, and Tracy happily greets Paul (who is there as Tracy’s guest). She worries that Sean is not going to be too happy to see that Paul is there. He says that is just too bad. The groomsmen, Tony, Chief Lewis, and the DA arrive. Then Tom, Simone, and Steve Hardy arrive. Followed by Dominique, Patrick, and O’Toole arrive and O’Toole tells Lewis that he looks more like an undertaker than an usher. Robert worriedly asks Sean and Mac if Anna has arrived? They tease him if he really thinks she won’t arrive? They realize he is serious and Sean assures him the ladies are all there and the wedding will be painless. Robert continues to look very serious and admits he has a bad feeling and won’t be assured until he sees Anna walk down the aisle. At the precise moment that Faison walks in on Anna, Robert and Tanganieva both get a cold chill. Faison asks if she is quite sure she is marrying the right man? Robert starts running towards her just knowing she is in trouble. Anna tells Faison that she loves Robert and is marrying him today, that she has always loved Robert. Anna tries to leave and Faison grabs her and locks the door. Robert throws his hat as he runs even faster. Robert gets to the bride’s room, Sean tries to stop him from going in but Robert tells him he knows Anna is in trouble. Sean tries the door to find it locked. He and Sean pound on it and break down the door to find Faison holding Anna. Robert punches him, knocking him down. Anna stops Robert and tells him she doesn’t want any violence on her wedding day and orders Faison to get out. But the drama isn’t over, as the wedding begins Dominique freaks out, grabs a gun from a guard and begins screaming. Sean shoves the bridesmaids back in the bridal room. Mac goes running towards her. She aims the gun at him, babbling, “no wedding, no wedding” repeatedly. Mac is able to calmly talk to her as he moves ever closer, until he is able to get the gun away from her. She falls in a faint and he carries her off. Robert moans that this is like the Titanic sinking! Robert calms everyone down, Steve goes to the car for his medical bag, and Sean takes Bobbie to Dominique. Tony and Steve tend to a still passed out Dominique. Anna frets over the additional delay, wondering if this wedding is ever going to take place. Mac assured that Dom is going to be okay, runs back to an impatient Robert. Mac excuses that he thinks maybe the sun beating down on Dom got to her. Robert observes seems like it melted her glue! He asks if no his wedding can take place? The wedding finally proceeds, with great love and joy they exchange their vows and run down the aisle in exuberance! A great Frank Sinatra song plays as their friends and family come up to congratulate them. They do a receiving line as all of their guests pass by to wish them well. Mac tries to get Dom to go out to greet them but she refuses, too embarrassed by her behavior to face them. Robin has obviously put a lot of work into the reception as she shows her parents the cake, and then fusses about something not down as she requested and she excuses herself to go talk to the caterers. Later, Robert removes the garter from Anna’s leg and Mac catches it as he tosses it. They cut the cake, Sean makes a toast, and then Mac proposes a toast acknowledging that Anna has a calming effect on Robert turning him into a man that a brother can love. Tanganeiva then blesses their marriage. Finally it is time to go, and Anna tosses her bouquet. Funny moment as Lucy jumps in front of Tracy to snatch it away from her. In the limo, Anna finds another red orchid and tosses it out of the window. As they drive away, Tanganeiva crushes the orchid beneath his foot. Anna and Robert arrive in France and check in for an overnight deluxe compartment bound for St. Trope. Sean returns to his office and is ticked to find the file stolen. He calls Paul and demands he come to see him. A furious Sean makes some threats and Paul warns him that he is making the biggest mistake of his life by threatening Paul. On the train, Robert comments how odd it was to see Faison show up. Anna gets quiet and still with fear over his renewed presence in her life. Anna comments how odd Dom’s behavior was. Robert and Anna can barely eat their dinner as they are so eager to be alone together. They are disturbed to find that what they thought would be a compartment is actually only two overhead berths. They try to share a berth and have some alone time but a loud Frenchwoman in a nearby compartment makes this impossible. Cute scenes as Anna tells Robert how much she wants him but intimacy is further complicated by the rocking motion of the train. Robert wishes that he would have booked an airline flight and Anna laughs that she thinks she will be sick. Robert tries to salvage the situation by opening a bottle of champagne. Back in Port Charles, Robin shows Connor some dance moves. Felicia suggests Mac looking into a room at Bobbie’s brownstone. Sean confronts Faison at the PC Grill and demands to know why he isn’t dead? He questions Faison as to what he is really up to as Sean isn’t buying that Faison isn’t suffering from unrequited love. An ominous Faison promises that they will all know soon enough. Tracy arrives at Sean’s and confronts him over his accusations against Paul for which Tracy determines Sean still doesn’t have any proof! Sean promises Tracy that he will prove that Paul is corrupt and assures her that he is right about him. Tracy warns him that if he doesn’t get proof he will be hit with a slander suit as he is damaging Paul’s reputation. Sean calls the WSB and requests an immediate update on Paul, any alias, his business associates and says that things are heating up in Port Charles and he needs to know what Paul is up to. Paul joins Faison at the bar and Faison demands to know what is going on with Sean as he doesn’t seem like a man intimidated. Paul advises that Sean doesn’t have a single shred of evidence and reminds Faison that Sean is Paul’s assignment and he will take care of it. Faison offers that if Paul runs into any problems handling Sean that Faison will be delighted to provide and assistance that he needs. Paul seems a bit bothered by the implied threat in Faison’s words. Promo congratulating Finola on her Best Actress win! Anna and Robert check into their French hotel and are disturbed by loud neighbors, no private bathroom. Robert questions what happened to the country of love and romance? Robert laments the lack of sex on their honeymoon and he is disappointed at the disaster it is turning into. Anna tries to make the best of it and is still interested in making love. As they sit on the bed and Robert starts to unzip her dress, the bed collapses. Robert says that is it and they are checking out of the hotel. He blindfolds her and takes her into a beautiful suite with a gorgeous view, a place they had stayed way back when. He tells her how much he loves her and he never stopped loving her all the time they were apart, not for one instant. She tells him she is the happiest person in the world and he promises her it will always be like this between them. Anna goes to slip into something more comfortable and as Robert becomes impatient waiting for her, she re-enters the bedroom wowing him with her floor length violet chiffon negligee. They share a romantic evening together and finally start their honeymoon. A concerned Paul stops by to warn Tiffany that if she has any influence over Sean that she should get him off this case for his own protection. An upset Tiffany immediately reports to Sean that Paul threathened him. Sean is furious that Paul would bring Tiffany into this and threathen him through her. Paul reports back to Faison that he tried talking to Tiffany but didn’t feel it had any effect. Paul tells Faison that he will need his talents to distract and neutralize with Sean. Faison is more than happy to do so as he has an old score to settle with Sean. Faison instructs Paul to get Sean out of the penthouse. Paul meets with Sean and he denies threathening Tiffany, he claims he was just trying to see if they could come to turns. Paul stalls and Sean becomes irate and tells him to stop jerking him around. He tells Paul that he hasn’t forgotten that Paul threathened Tiffany and if he doesn’t start giving him some answers that Paul will be eating through a straw for the rest of his life! Paul seems a bit nervous at this new threat to his well being and assures Sean that he is trying to build some trust before he can tell Sean anything. Faison sneaks into the penthouse and drugs Tiffany’s milk. When she passes out on the couch, he enters again and takes a glass carefully not disturbing any fingerprints on the glass. After Faison has left, Robin comes down and tries to wake Tiffany. Anna at that moment, wakes with a start obviously disturbed. She finds herself alone and begins searching for Robert and begins to panic when she can’t find him. Robert returns from a swim and she lays into him for worrying her with his absence and not letting her know where he was going. He promises that she was sleeping and he was just trying to be considerate. She apologizes and tells him that she had a nightmare and then woke up and he was gone and she panicked. He assures her that nothing is going to happen to him and takes her in his arms. He promises her that in the event of his imminent demise that he will make sure she is with him. He asks her to go down to the beach with him and tells her the beach is deserted and to forget her suit! They return from their ocean swim, and climb into bed together, snuggling and completely enjoying being alone together. Later they go down to dinner and meet Lord Ashton, Tracy’s ex-husband. He sends over a bottle of champagne and Anna shares that they are on their honeymoon. He really doesn’t take the hint and insists on taking them on a sightseeing tour. Anna begs off saying that they have both been to this area before and know it quite well but Ashton is not taking no for an answer. Robin comes downstairs and finds Tiffany out cold on the couch. Robin tries to wake Tiffany up to go up to bed and when she is unable to rouse her, she calls 911. Sean arrives home to find his wife unconscious and the paramedics unable to revive her and they rush her to GH. Sean is frantic with worry and Robin stays by his side until Bobbie offers to take Robin home with her. Sean sleeps at the hospital and is quite haggard by the next morning as the doctors remain puzzled as to the cause of Tiffany’s coma. Sean enters her room and is overjoyed to find her not only awake but on her feet! She is ushered back to bed and she begins asking him what happened while he is looking to her for answers as well. Neither of them nor the doctors have any clue as to the cause of her collapse (evidentally the drug Faison gave her was undectable). Robin returns that morning and is also thrilled to see her awake. **The End** |
