Robert & Anna #3  May 2–30, 1991 – 8 hours

Anna visits Felicia in the hospital, she was paralyzed in the earthquake. Later, Felicia gets feeling back in her legs. Scotty finds Mac in the brownstone and warns him that he won’t cover up his escape. Mac pleads that he is innocent! He tells Mac that had he stayed in jail they would have had a good chance, especially if Mac had a chance to escape and didn’t. Mac says that Scotty’s defense was a bit on the shaky side, and Scotty comments that perhaps he did have a vendetta against his brother. Scotty tells him he is taking him in as he isn’t going to risk getting disbarred for Mac! Mac takes him on and gets away.

Robert and Anna talk about their night together and what a coincidence it is that they night they finally make love there is a major earthquake. Robert teases her if she really thinks it is healthy to only make love once every 13 years? Later, an exhausted Robert falls asleep at his desk.

Felicia is released from the hospital but tells Anna they are homeless as the Brownstone has been condemned. Anna invites them to stay at her place and comments that she isn’t going to be there all that much. Anna returns to Robert’s office and finds him still asleep. She wakes him up and tells him that Frisco and Felicia are going to stay at her place. He says that she should move in with him and then Frisco and Felicia can have her place. She says she doesn’t know if she wants to move in with him that it wouldn’t be any fun as he is a workaholic. He grabs her and tells her that he is fun and starts kissing her. He bends her down over his desk and continues kissing her. He tells her he is only working now to capture Mac. This breaks the mood and she pushes him off and gets up to go. He whines that she can’t come in and do what she does and then just leave, that when she doesn’t get what she wants she puts on her clothes and goes home! (she was fully dressed but still funny).

Mac enters Anna’s house and makes himself comfortable. He strips down to his shorts and falls asleep in Anna’s bed. Anna comes home and gets into bed, she is shocked to find out that she isn’t alone! He subdues her and holds a knife at her throat. She tells him he doesn’t need the knife, that he can put it away that she isn’t going to do anything. He grabs her gun from the nightstand table and then pulls the knife away. She believes now that he is a murderer! He says that if she didn’t believe that he would kill her that she would have killed him, pointing to her gun. They rehash him trying to get into see Robert at the hospital with his knife.

She says that Robert will be coming by anytime now. He doesn’t believe her as he knows Robert is busy with earthquake problems and looking for Mac and he will never think to look for Mac in her bed! He ties her up and then the next morning attempts to feed her breakfast. She is most uncooperative and he warns her that he can’t guarantee when or where she will be eating again.

Finian arrives and assures Mac that he wasn’t followed. They talk very loudly, so Anna can overhear, about Mac taking the next ship out of Port Charles. In the meantime, he slips Mac a note about picking up a crate ASAP. Mac heads over to Jenny’s and she isn’t happy to see him as he puts her and her whole family in danger. He assures her that he would never put her in danger. He tells her that he just wanted to say goodbye to her. She warns him that if he runs that he can’t ever return to Port Charles.

When the cop who was assigned to tail Mac tells him that Finian was very suspicious and paranoid that tells Robert that Mac is still in Port Charles and Finian was careful to shake the tail before meeting up with Mac. Mac returns to Anna’s and unties her and gives her back her gun as a sign of trust and then turns to leave. She points the gun at him and tells him if he moves any further that she will shoot him! When he says he will take his chances she pulls the trigger and is frustrated to realize the gun is empty of any bullets! He laments that it would have been so much better if she had trusted him. He grabs her and ties her up and gags her again. A very large shipping crate is arrived and Mac slips inside just in time for the delivery guy to come and pick it up. Anna hears the beep as the bar code is scanned on the crate.

Robert shows up and is not happy to find Anna bound and gagged. He releases her, relieved that she is okay. He tells her how very much he loves her. Anna tells him about the bar code scanning sound and Robert calls a local delivery service that uses that system. The delivery van is located and the driver is ordered to turn around and return to Port Charles. Mac realizes they are onto him when the van does a sudden u-turn. He is unable to get out of the van though as it is locked on the inside.

However, Finian to the rescue again! He pays someone to lie in the middle of the street. The delivery van stops to provide aid and someone Finian has a key to the delivery van and releases Mac. Finian takes Mac to the Eckert’s and tells him to hide in the basement that he will be safe there. Jenny finds Mac in the basement; he apologizes and tells her that he didn’t know it was her house. He asks her to just let me him stay for a couple of hours, if he goes back out there that they police will hunt him down like a dog. She says she is sorry but she can’t do it, having him there puts her whole family in jeopardy.

Robert shows up with a search warrant and heads upstairs. Mac has time to slip out a window in the basement and then slip back in undetected by Robert. Robert arrives at Anna’s and admits it feels odd to be spending the night there with her. He is worried that the showdown with Mac may wind up with Robert having to kill his brother. The next morning, Robert and Anna snuggle. He wakes up and watches her as she sleeps and says it has been a long time since he has been able to watch her in the morning. He tells her how beautiful she is. She says thanks for last night.

Frisco interrupts with news that there are four ships scheduled to leave port that day. Robert orders everyone on alert and extra patrols down on the docks, Robert is sure that Mac will be on one of the ships. Robert is off to the docks and promises to call Anna after he has caught Mac. She wants to go with him; he says no that he would rather her stay home where she is safe. She wants to be there to help him, he points out that is what he has an entire police force for. She says that she wants to be there with him, in case he loses control. He agrees without too much argument as he admits he could use her as backup.

Robin is worried about her parent’s safety and misses them very much. Robert decides to take time out for a family dinner and he meets his two ladies at a nice restaurant bearing two bouquets of flowers. Robin immediately begins interrogating them about what is going on between them? Robert tries to explain the time they have been spending together as Anna helping him investigate, she was his nurse, and helped with the emergency efforts. Robin, more to the point, wants to know if they are lovers? Robert admits they are in love. Robin wants to know if this is going to lead to something more permanent? Neither Robert nor Anna is ready to answer this question yet. Robert teases Anna that Robin is direct just like her mother and as Robin snarkily interrogates them, Anna points out that is pure Scorpio!

Bill Eckert discovers Mac in the basement, they fight and Bill is knocked out. Jenny brings Mac the nun’s habit and wearing the disguise he is able to leave the Eckert’s. When Bill comes to he fills in his family and the police officer on Mac’s presence. Robert is irate that Mac got away again especially as his instinct told him Mac was hiding out at Jenny’s. Robert locks Anna in his office so she can’t follow him (what happened to needing her back up?). Robert heads over to the Eckert’s to question Bill. The nun comes out and says her habit is missing.

A police officer is assigned to guarding Anna and he refuses to let her leave. She winds up knocking him out and escaping. Tiffany is down on the docks interviewing Robert, and hassling both him and Frisco to try to get information about Mac. They hear gunshots in the distance, we see Anna firing shots and she is hit in the shoulder and goes down. Mac is seen running away though we don’t ever see that it was him firing at Anna. Anna passes out, and Robert finds her and holds her in his arms, begging her to wake up. He sees blood on her face and flashes back to the night he found out she was a double agent and her face was scarred in the explosion. Robert tells Frisco he wants someone put on Robin to protect her.

Finian meets up with Mac and tells him he won’t have anything to do with a shooting. Mac swears to him that he had nothing to do with it either. Anna is taken to the hospital and is treated and released. Frisco carefully watches as the crew board one of the outbound freighters. Robert finally catches sight of Mac having boarded the freighter. Sean and Anna stop in at Kelly’s and learn that Mac has been spotted on a ship bound for Denmark. Anna rushes out, with Sean right behind her. There is a whole crew of police officers on the docks, Tiffany and her news crew, Anna and Sean. They hear shots ring out and Anna rushes to board the ship and go to Robert’s aide. Sean stops her and tells her that Robert would not want her up there. Robert goes up there alone as he wants to bring Mac in on his own.

Robert and Mac come face to face on the deck of the cargo ship, both are armed. Robert throws down his gun and says, “I don’t need a gun to beat you!” Mac also throws down his gun and they begin fighting it out. After one particularly good punch, Mac goes flying overboard somersaulting backwards into the water. Robert watches but there is no sign of air bubbles or of Mac fighting his way to the surface.

The next day, Robert is still sitting at the edge of the dock still staring into the water. A Coast Guard Captain arrives to make his report and Frisco is very protective of Robert reports that they dredged all night but there is no sign of Mac’s body. Anna is concerned about Robert, he is somber and he is second-guessing his actions. The reporters hound Robert for information about what happened to Mac and if he was unconscious when he went overboard? Mac’s jacket is found down river. Tiffany continues to press until Robert loses his temper with her on camera and admits that he killed his own brother. Sean is furious and pulls Robert away from the press to protect him.

Sean later accuses Tiffany of crucifying Robert. She says that she is just doing her job, while he accuses her of being a news shark. He can’t believe that she choose her job over her friendship with Robert and suggests that she is taking out her anger over how he treated Cheryl on him now. She is indignant over his accusation, he says that he could never be in her business, never choose ratings over friendship. Robert confides in Sean that he went after Mac himself because he was angry at Mac for shooting Anna. He admits he allowed anger to motivate him but he never intended to kill Mac but Mac is dead because of Robert! The press continues to hound him at the police station; the hallway outside of his office is packed with reporters and camera crews waiting for a sound bite.

The DA calls and wants to meet with Robert. When he gets off the phone he tells Frisco that this whole episode could cost him his job as the commissioner. Robert arrives at Anna’s and she makes him a cup of tea. He tells her that he misses the brother he once had but he doesn’t regret what he did as he doesn’t feel that he had any other choice. Robin arrives, she heard on the radio that he killed Mac and asks if that is true? He says yes and she runs into his arms. He questions why Olin brought her there and she reports that Robin insisted.

Sean arrives after having heard about Robert’s meeting with the DA and asks if there is anything that Robert can do? Sean is concerned about Mac’s partner who is still out there. Frisco arrives, Robert had asked him to watch over his family. After Robert leaves, Anna blames herself for Mac’s death, as Robert was so upset after her shooting. She feels she made the situation worse.

The DA tells Mac that he is behind him 100%, that he admires Robert very much. He goes onto ask Robert not to leave town and assures him that it is standard procedure in a situation like this. Robert hands turns in his resignation and hands over his badge. Robert returns home and tells everyone that the manslaughter investigation is still pending and that he resigned. Sean can’t believe it and determines that Robert is over-reacting. Robert says he didn’t have a choice.

Later, Anna heads over to Roberts but he tells her that he just needs some time alone. She asks him to let go of the whole thing. When she returns to her house, Sean, Frisco, and Felicia are all there. Sean is frustrated that he can’t figure out a way to help Robert. Sean blames Tiffany for helping to create the media storm that resulted in Robert feeling like he had to resign. Frisco points out that was Robert’s choice, he wasn’t asked to resign.

A cop calls Frisco and tells him that he lost Finian but the last he saw him, he was headed towards the docks and carrying blankets and food. The gang all realize that means that most likely Mac is alive and Finian is once again helping him. Robert, meanwhile, is having a series of flashbacks of all the drama and tension between him and Mac since Mac arrived in town. Frisco tries calling Robert but he doesn’t pick up the phone so he heads over to tell him his suspicions of Mac being alive.

Robert stops by the TV station to see Tiffany and she apologizes to him for jumping in like the rest of the vultures. She says that she obviously has trouble separating her personal life from her professional life. He tells her the reason he stopped is he needs a favor. He tells her he needs to find Finian and asks if she can show his picture on the news and she agrees, happy to be able to help him.

Mac is feeling better and Finian comments on what a grand fight that was. Mac clarifies that Robert didn’t hurt him that he almost drowned trying to find the entrance to the tunnel. Finian assures him that he is safe that not many people know about the entrance to the tunnel. Mac is relieved that everyone thinks he is dead, as that will give him a chance to escape. Finian tells Mac that Robert might be brought up on manslaughter charges.

Robert tells Frisco that he is going to start his own unofficial investigation. When Frisco offers to help, Robert warns him that he could be facing manslaughter charges and he doesn’t want to see Frisco go down with him. Frisco reminds Robert that after everything they have been through together of course Frisco is going to help Robert.

Tiffany goes on air and apologizes for her contribution in the feeding frenzy that she believes resulted in the resignation of Police Commissioner Robert Scorpio. When she shows Finian’s picture, a patron at Kelly’s cries out that she saw Finian last night. Finian calls Paul and tells him that Mac is still alive and that “It is still on.”

Sean tells Tiffany how much he admires what she did, that it is never easy to say you’re sorry and even harder to admit a mistake on television. Robert and Frisco head over to where the dancer saw Finian disappear the night before, Sean shows up to lend his help as well. They see Finian come out of the tunnel. Robert grabs him and starts questioning him. He demands to know where he was taking the food and blankets last night? Finian says that he brought along some supplies in case Mac had survived but he never found him and that Mac is indeed dead. He says that he left the supplies in the tunnel.

Robert demands that Finian show him where he left the supplies and warns him that they had better be where Finian says he left them! Finian gets snarky with Robert, as he is no longer the police commissioner and reminds him that he resigned after making a mess of this situation. Sean has no problem providing the muscle and forcing Finian to cooperate. They pretty much drag him into he tunnels and make more than enough noise to warn Mac they are coming! They come upon a young couple with blankets and food and Finian claims the couple are making use of his supplies and our gang buys his story and they are forced to let him go.

Anna nervously awaits Robert who hasn’t called to check in with her. As Anna putters around the house, Robin asks if she is okay? She says yes, that Frisco and Sean are helping her father. Robert comes into Kelly’s and Ruby tells him that Anna is looking for him and he should call and check in with her. He admits that he lost track of time. Before he can call her, a guy comes up to him and tells him that he saw Mac alive that morning! Robert can’t believe that he has been going through all of this and Mac is alive. The guy tells him that he believes Mac is headed towards Finger Lakes (an obvious set up as we have never seen Mac with the guy, he is still hiding out in the tunnels talking to Finian who sends him off to Finger Lakes).

Robert finally returns back to Anna’s and she reams him for not calling. He apologizes and grabs her, pushes her down to the couch though she warns him that he can’t shut her up with a kiss but that doesn’t stop him from trying! They wind up in bed together, later after Anna has fallen asleep, Robert sneaks out telling the guard that he is going for a walk.

Anna is frantic the next morning when she can’t find Robert. The DA comes by and informs them all that Robert is indicted by the Grand Jury for manslaughter. He demands to know where Robert is? She reports that he went back to his apartment but the DA reports that he is nowhere to be found. He gives them till 9;00 that night to find Robert and when he is still missing, the DA informs them that he has no choice but to put out an APB on Robert. He says this makes Robert look guilty and he could charge them all with aiding and abetting.

Robin is terrified that something has happened to her father or that he will be sent to prison. Anna promises her that she will get her father back to her and reminds her that her father is a very smart man.

Mac wakes up in a Finger Lakes medical clinic and is told that he passed out in their parking lot. Robert arrives in Finger Lakes and asks directions to a barn. Just after he leaves, a young officer comes in with the APB flyer with Robert’s picture and the clerk identifies him and tells her where he is headed. She encounters Robert in the barn and tries to arrest him but he talks her out of it claiming he is an undercover cop and she will blow his cover. He insists he is not the guy in the picture and again he convinces her especially with his talk of police procedures and tells her that he used to be the police commissioner. She is disappointed as she could really use a collar being a new rookie and a female! He does enlist her help in looking for Mac and sends her off to check the local hospitals and then report back to him.

Nurse Betsy at the clinic (played by the brunette actress from Sex & The City) tells Mac that her cousin, the cop, showed up asking questions about him and she lied and said he wasn’t there. Mac is worried that someone was asking about him and insists that he has to leave the clinic immediately against doctor’s orders. Somehow though the young cop got the information and is able to identify Mac from Robert’s description and heads back to the barn to fill him in. Robert encourages the young officer that she will make a fine cop one day. Robert heads to the clinic but Mac has left by the time he arrives, Betsy has taken him home with her and he winds up in her bed!

Robert continues to hide out in the barn; the owner of the farm comes in and questions Robert. He believes his story until he finds one of the most wanted type flyers with Robert’s picture. Robert makes a call reporting that Robert was seen on a train headed to Chicago. Anna hangs out at the police station, waiting for word, worrying about Robert. The press come in and hassle her and Robin. She then goes down to the docks and just stands there looking out at the water. Robert goes back to the clinic asking questions about Mac. Nurse Betsy who was on duty comes in and Robert quickly gets the vibe that she is lying about not seeing Mac. He immediately heads to search her house.

A shirtless Mac, hears Robert enter, and then Betsy’s parents return home and demand to know what he is doing there giving Mac a chance to escape. Mac heads back to the clinic and the nurse warns him that a police officer has been there looking for him. The lady officer, Priscilla, comes in and tells Mac to get his arms in the air, that he is under arrest. She thinks he is Robert, Mac urges the nurse to go out and get the flyer. While she is gone, he takes the gun away from the officer and ties her up. She returns to the barn and tells Robert that she had Mac in custody but he got away.

Anna runs into Jenny down on the dock and Jenny is quite positive which raises Anna’s suspicions. Anna returns to the PCPD and asks Frisco to question Jenny as she is walking around like she doesn’t have a care in the world. After questioning Jenny, Frisco is also sure that Jenny knows more than she is saying as he also got the feeling she was nervous and holding back. They come to the conclusion that she has been in touch with Mac. They begin to suspect that perhaps Robert didn’t actually go to Chicago that Robert set that up to throw anyone looking for him off the trail of where he really was headed. Frisco orders an APD on Mac Scorpio. Guy finds out about it and gets in a bit of a snit that he ordered an APB on a dead guy and he better be real sure that he is really alive! Anna is frustrated by the constant tail and is tempted to lose him but Sean urges her that for his peace of mind he needs to make sure that her and Robin are both safe.

Mac sees Robert heading out of the barn and draws his gun as he heads down to confront Robert. Robert pulls his gun as well and they are both pointing them at each other. Robert accuses him of faking his own death so that Robert would rot in prison. They each cock their guns and a gunshot rings out and Robert falls to the ground. Mac actually has shot Rory, the assassin who was trying to kill them both. He tells Mac that they were both set up to be killed and that they are both very lucky to still be alive.

Rory dies before he can give them any additional information. Mac helps Robert up and Robert accuses Mac of working with Rory. Mac reminds Robert that when he saw that Rory was going to shoot Robert that Mac took him out, that Rory is dead because of Mac! Robert says he finds this all a little bit jarring, this complete turn around of what he thought he knew. Mac also points out that Robert had a clean shot at Mac and he didn’t take it!  Robert insists that Mac is going to return to Port Charles with him. Mac suggests that he needs medical attention for his gunshot; Robert whines that he hates being shot that it ruins his whole day!

Mac takes Robert into the clinic; he says it is a hunting accident. The doctor is concerned that it looks like the shot might have grazed a major artery. The doctor sends one of the nurses off to get the sheriff to investigate the gunshot wound. Robert tries to tell the doctor that Mac is his prisoner and is a wanted man but he can barely get the words out. Mac calls Finian and wants to know where his money is? Finian reports that he was knocked out while he was retrieving the money. He says that it was one of Mac’s former shipmates with the English accent; this fits Rory’s description. Finian tells him that he is working on another plan. Finian wants to know where Mac is but he hurriedly hangs up before he gives him any of his location information. Mac calls Jenny and tells her that he is going to head to Canada and tells her to stay away from Paul Hornsby. Robert needs an immediate blood transfusion and the doctor tells Mac that he is the best bet for a match. Nurse Betsy returns and tells the doctor that the sheriff is out.

Betsy questions Mac about what is going on? He tells her that he knows it looks bad but if he was really a bad guy he would have let Robert in the barn, or merely called in the shooting as Mac made his escape. Finian goes to Paul and tells him about his conversation with Mac. Finian is puzzled about all of this and truly has grown to care for his new friend and seems to be a bit suspicious of Paul. Paul calls into his boss (we still don’t see his face just a hand with a prominent ring) and tells him that something has gone wrong. He says that he will need several more men to complete the job.

Sean and Anna interview the train conductor and he identifies Robert as being a passenger on the train. They want to know if he went all of the way to Chicago and the conductor says no that he got off before Toledo. Anna and Sean are thrilled, as this is their first real lead.

Robert is surprised to wake up and find Mac still there. Mac explains he is giving blood for a transfusion for Robert. They both have flashbacks to being together as brothers with their matching bracelets. Mac says that now Robert is a captive audience he has to listen to him about the plane crash. Robert accuses him that he wasn’t even licensed to fly the plane!

Mac insists that he only had a few hours of instruction left and he did know what he was doing. Robert comments that he certainly made a lasting impression. Mac does admit that he was flying like an idiot trying to impress his father, he says that dad never tried to stop him and he should have that it was almost like he was baiting him to see how far he would go. Mac swears it was an accident and he never left Robert to die that he came back for him and couldn’t find Robert anywhere. Mac says he prayed that someone had found Robert and given him help.

Robert says that when Mac left Port Charles that he did so leaving everyone believing that he was dead and how could he do that. Mac responds simply, “To save myself”. Mac tells the nurse he has to get out of the clinic and get back to the barn as there is something is has to get. She tells him he can’t leave and offers to go for him; he says she can’t, as that it is too dangerous.

Robert asks Mac about him sneaking into his hospital room with a knife? Mac says he takes it everywhere he goes and he had to sneak in, as they wouldn’t let him in to see Robert. He swears he just wanted to see Robert and make sure he was okay. Robert says that whoever Mac was working with was responsible for putting him there. Mac insists that he had nothing to do with the attacks on Robert and reminds him that Mac is his brother.

Betsy warns Mac that the sheriff is there and they have found a dead body and he wants to question them about it. The sheriff comes in and begins asking Robert about which Scorpio he is and about the dead body. Robert matter of factly tells him that Mac killed Rory and it was self-defense. Mac sneaks over to the funeral parlor to search Rory’s body for his money belt. The sheriff comes in and says he has the money belt. The sheriff tells Mac that Robert is being held in his jail and Mac is going to join him!

Paul has contacted a senator that owes him a favor and arranges to set up an off shore account in Mac and Robert’s names. He also sets it up to get the information to the DA. One of the transactions by Mac takes place after his supposed death and is thrilled as this exonerates Robert of the manslaughter charge. Tiffany calls Anna and tells her that her sources indicate that both Robert and Mac are in major trouble.

Mac and Robert are both being held in the Finger Lakes jail. Mac points out to the sheriff that Robert’s APB is for killing Mac and since he is obviously not dead the sheriff can release Robert. The sheriff could care less about the Port Charles APB and is holding them for Rory’s murder. Robert insists on his phone call but the sheriff is in no hurry to make that call available.

The DA holds a press conference and says that evidence has been uncovered indicating that Mac is alive but also that he and Robert have been involved in criminal activity together. He states that a Grand Jury has been convened to review the new evidence against them. Afterwards Anna goes to talk to Mike, the DA, and asks to see the evidence. He tells her about the wire transfers and Anna is sure they are faked and that Mac is setting Robert up.

Finian goes to see Paul, as he is worried about Mac. Paul lies and says that he has been in touch with Mac and picks up the phone and orders a money transfer to Finger Lakes. He assures Finian that Mac is being taken care of. As soon as Finian leaves, Paul cancels the wire transfer.

Mac and Robert finally have a heart to heart while in jail. Mac admits to sabotaging the ELQ Tracy. Robert wants to know who hired him? Mac responds, “A dirty double crosser, Paul Hornsby!” Robert is certainly shocked by this revelation and agrees with Mac that they will get Paul but says it will be within the law. Mac admits that he envies the life Robert has built for himself in Port Charles and says he would like to have that kind of home and family and friends. Robert encourages Mac that he could have that kind of life but that his current lifestyle isn’t conducive to marriage and Mac would have to be willing to change and Robert could help him.

Robert finally gets his phone call and contacts Frisco but asks him not to tell anyone where he is. Meanwhile, Anna gets a call from one of her leads and Robert’s car has been traced to Finger Lakes. Anna gets off the phone and tells Robin that she knows where Robert is!  Anna brings in the officer watching the house and she knocks him out and stuffs him in a closet. Robin is worried about the officer but Anna assures her that he will be fine; she just needs an hour to get away. Anna asks Robin how it feels to be her partner in crime?

Mac demands his phone call and Robert reminds the sheriff that to continue to deny him his call is a federal offense. When he comes to the cell, he gets knocked out for his trouble and they escape. Frisco and Felicia show up at Anna’s and Frisco starts asking where Anna has gone. Sean also shows up having heard about Anna giving the police officer the slip. Robin insists she doesn’t know where her mom is but she got a phone call and said she was off to find Robert. She knows that once they are together they will be fine.

Anna arrives at Finger Lakes and asks Officer Priscilla about the Scorpio brothers. She says they were arrested and then escaped. Anna wants to know if she has any idea where they went? She says no but her friend, Betsy, got to know Mac and that he said he was headed for Canada.

Robert and Mac stop at a diner along the way. Robert calls Sean to check in and is surprised when Robin answers the phone. He has to cut the call short when a couple of goons come into the diner. They fight, knock them down and take off running on foot through the meadow and across a footbridge. Mac takes pains to cover their tracks. A frustrated Sean grills Robin about what Robert wanting and why he called? Robin is worried and said his call was worse than no call at all.

Mac sees that Robert’s wound is bleeding and he has a fever. Mac tells Robert that he wants him to stay there while Mac goes into town to get him help and bring a doctor back to him. Robert still doesn’t completely trust Mac and has doubts that he will return. Mac is back quickly with a doctor in tow. Anna finds Robert’s car at the diner and finds the chaos from the fight when she enters. Priscilla believes that the Scorpio boys are still in the area.
