#6A  Jason gets antsy sitting around Elizabeth's studio and wants to go and find Spinelli before Alcazar kills him since he is Sam's only hope to prove she was set up. Sonny and Stan show up at the studio and set up the surveillance equipment to listen in on Alcazar's phone conversation. They overhear Alcazar mention a girl and how his men must kill the girl and Spinelli and make it look like an accident. Sonny tries to stop Jason from going after Spinelli and tells him to let him handle finding Spinelli. Elizabeth buys a travel book on Italy as a way to keep Jason's mind busy while Sonny looks for Spinelli. Sonny goes home and finds Peter Marquez there waiting for him. He asks to speak to Sonny who tries to brush him off. Peter tells Sonny about his connection to Spinelli and how he got a text message on his cell-phone and how he put it inside a textbook and handed it to one of his students after Alcazar's men came to talk to him. He tells Sonny it was Lulu he gave the book to and that he is worried about her because she suddenly disappeared. Sonny suspects Lulu is the unknown girl with Spinelli. Jason gets a call on his cell-phone from some associate who tells him that he heard a young woman calling for help outside of one of Alcazar's warehouses and thought Jason would want to know about it. Jason gets his gun and pockets it and tells Elizabeth he is going to find Spinelli before Alcazar kills him. 

Sam shows up at Elizabeth's studio to see Jason. Elizabeth informs her that Jason took off to find Spinelli after he got a lead on where he was. Elizabeth voices her concerns about Jason's safety and tells Sam that he already popped one of his stitches in his leg because he can't lay low and get better. Sam notices how concerned Elizabeth is for Jason and is alarmed by the Elizabeth's feelings. Sam asked Elizabeth how long Jason has been gone? Liz told her not that long. Sam starts to panic and was rambling what if he starts bleeding? What if his wound reopened again? Liz was not too happy with her and informed her that Jason was determined to exonerate her and she is going to have to trust that he won't push his limits. Sam told her not to explain Jason to her. Just because she saved Jason's life didn't mean that they share a big deep connection, it was what she did for a living. Liz told Sam that she and Jason had that before she came in the picture. Sam asked if they shared that before Liz showed up at his doorstep for meaningless sex that night. Liz told her no, she doesn't get to decide what that night meant for her and Jason, especially given what she was doing at the time. Liz told Sam that she shares a long history with Jason whether Sam liked it or not and she cares about him and it concerns her that he is always putting his life on the line to save her from her own bad judgment. Sam told her that Ric framed her. He set her up to get to Jason. Liz ask her if she knew that why didn't she set in jail a few more days to give Jason a chance to prove that she had been framed instead of escaping and making them both targets. Liz told Sam she knows how dangerous Ric is. Sam interrupted her and told her at least she didn't marry him. Liz told her she never said she didn't make mistakes; she just doesn't expect Jason to risk his life to clean them up. Sam told Liz that she just wanted to be a part of his life which is beyond pathetic since she is pregnant by Lucky who also happens to be her husband. Liz told her that she wouldn't have to be here right now if Sam wasn't so incredibly selfish. Sam told her she doesn't get to make that judgment call. Liz told her that she puts herself in danger so that Jason has to come after her to prove that he still loves her even though you betrayed him. 

Liz calls Sonny and told him that Jason got a report of a woman screaming and Jason went after the lead and she hasn't heard from him since. Sonny asked if she knew where and she told him Warehouse 22. After Liz hung up with Sonny, Sam started to leave and Liz stopped her and told her she can't go after Jason. Sam told her it wasn't her call. Liz told Sam that it would be really stupid of her to go after Jason. Ric is waiting for her to lead him to Jason. Sam told her that Jason was in trouble and she is not going to let him walk into danger alone. Liz told her to call Ric and have him go with her because she can promise her that Ric is following her, even in stolen scrubs. Sam told her that she knows how to dodge a tail and Jason needs her. As she opens the door Lucky is starting to knock on it. He told her that he was really hoping she wouldn't be there. Sam told Lucky that he had no right to follow her there. He responded that he wasn't following her; he came here to see Elizabeth. He wanted to know why Sam was wearing scrubs? She said it was a disguise because she didn't want to be followed when she came to see Jason. She turned to Elizabeth and asked her if she was helping Jason? Elizabeth looked shocked. Sam told her that Ric obviously thinks Jason is alive or he wouldn't have let her out on bail, and he was probably injured and he came to Liz for help. She demanded to know where she is keeping him. Sam says that maybe it was okay to say something in front of Lucky, maybe he would look the other way just this once. Lucky told Sam that Elizabeth doesn't know where he is, that she wouldn't risk their child to help Jason. Sam apologized and said she was scared because she doesn't know where he is or if he is okay. Elizabeth told her that she understood and Sam left. Lucky told Elizabeth that he was really following Sam. Lucky and Elizabeth talked about his mother and he asked if they had a girl if they could name her Laura? 

Jason pays Elizabeth a visit at General Hospital. He asks her if she thinks that he would have been a good father if he had been the baby's father. Elizabeth reassures him that he would be a wonderful father and that a child would be lucky to have him in their life. After Jason leaves, Elizabeth is distraught and she leaves work in a hurry. She goes to see Lucky at the PCPD and while she is trying to find a piece of paper to leave him a note, she finds the Ziploc bag of pills that was planted in his desk. Lucky appears to have been set up when Ric and Elizabeth go through Lucky's desk and find a bag of pills. Lucky insists to both of them that he isn't using again and he's been set up. Elizabeth has had enough and wants nothing more to do with him and storms out. Rodriguez comes by and asks Jason if he planted drugs in Lucky's drawer at work? Jason assures him that he would never do anything to hurt Elizabeth and then asks if Ric was anywhere near Lucky's desk when this happened. He suspects that Lucky was set up by Ric. When Elizabeth comes by to see Jason and he tells her he was just on his way to see her. He tells her that he hear about Lucky, that Rodriguez came over to question him. Liz is annoyed as she knows Jason would never have set Lucky up. Liz is torn over Lucky, she can't trust him and can't put her children at risk again. She knows how much Lucky loves Cam, and how much her son loves Lucky. Jason asks her to describe how she found the pills and Ric's involvement. Jason tells her about his suspicions about Ric and that he believes that Ric set her up to find the pills. 

At the hospital, Jason overhears Elizabeth complaining that she couldn't get the hot toy of the season for Cameron. Later on the docks, Liz was thrilled to find the toy she'd been seeking for Cam, courtesy of Jason. She tells him that she can't accept that but he grins and tells her that it isn't her gift but Cam's. She tells him how wonderful she is, deeply touched. He smiles softly and wishes her Merry Christmas. During a montage set to "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," Patrick and Robin headed to the supply closet as Epiphany smiled and shook her head, Edward went to ask the Qs about Alcazar but he just smiled and escorted Skye and Lila Rae home, Lulu tried on her mother's ring, Jason and Liz hugged, Sonny was shocked to see Father Ruiz (a dead ringer for Manny), Nikolas was horrified to find the manger empty and Spencer nowhere to be found. Liz was upset as she couldn't find her bracelet, Jason helps her find it and she thanks him for yet another Christmas miracle. They head over to Kelly's and Liz confides in Lucky how much it would mean to Cameron to spend Christmas with Lucky. After Christmas, Elizabeth and Cameron ran into Jason. Jason was charmed by Cameron's new toy. Elizabeth got teary and admitted she had wanted a dad for Cameron and the new baby. Elizabeth added that the situation was very complicated and said she wanted to make the best decision. 

Jason heads to the hospital and asks Dr. Lee about Sam. Dr. Lee tells him she can't divulge any information about Sam since she is a patient of hers. Jason asks her if she can answer a hypothetical question concerning Sam. Dr. Lee said she would. He asks her how much time does it take for a woman to heal completely after losing a baby like Sam did. Dr. Lee tells him that it takes a long time to heal but that in Sam's case she could get pregnant by next year at this time. Elizabeth can't help but overhear Jason talking to Dr. Lee and seems disturbed by the conversation. Jason notices her at the nurses' station and approaches her. He asks her how she is doing? She tells him she is fine. She asks him if he came to the hospital to get his bullet wound checked out. He tells her he came to see how Sam did on her job interview. Elizabeth is surprised he doesn't know already. She tells him about Sam's run in with Ms. Sneed and informs him that Alan gave Sam the job instead. Later, Elizabeth talks to Dr. Lee casually about the rash of pregnancies and planned pregnancies this time of year. Dr. Lee tells her that even Jason asked her if Sam could get pregnant safely now. Elizabeth hides her dismay by smiling quickly at Dr. Lee. A man brought his pregnant wife to GH, where she asked Liz to keep her husband away because she's been lying about the child's paternity, her husband's best friend is the father. Later, she gave birth to a son and passed out. Suddenly, the newborn needed a transfusion but only from his father. So Liz told the husband, "Your friend Ethan is the father." 

An emotional Liz lost control of her car in the storm, and it skidded off the road. She stumbled out of vehicle and managed to knock herself unconscious on some nearby rocks. As Elizabeth lay unconscious by the side of the road, she dreamt of various scenarios concerning her pregnancy. The first dream was that Lucky was the baby's father. In the second dream, she walked into Kelly's with Cam and her new baby to find Maxie and Lucky kissing. This time, Lucky was unremorseful and flaunted his affair with Maxie in her face. Jason found Liz, and brought her to General Hospital. At the hospital, Jason tried to talk to a still unconscious Liz. Lucky arrived, and is grateful to Jason for saving their baby. Lucky and Jason stayed by Liz's bedside. Liz dreams's of Lucky chewing her out for lying about the baby's paternity and Jason didn't back her up. Then, Liz woke up to find a very soothing and reassuring Lucky by her side. Liz was released from the hospital and she called Jason and thanked him for saving her. 

Sam rushes out to head to G.H. for her first day at work. She has a run-in with Ms. Sneed, the head of Personnel at the hospital. Ms. Sneed asks her why she was three minutes late for work. Sam tells her it was traffic. Ms. Sneed tells her that is not a good excuse to be late for work. Sam tries to get her off of her back about being late and apologizes and claims it won't happen again. Ms. Sneed insists on knowing the real reason she was late. Elizabeth, Lucky, and Epiphany are close by and hear the whole conversation. Sam gets tired to trying to explain the real reason she was late. She finally tells her she was late because she was having sex with her boyfriend because they are trying to have a baby. Ms. Sneed tells her that is not an appropriate answer to say out loud. Sam tells her she kept harping on her for an answer so she told the truth. Ms. Sneed takes off in a huff. Sam also takes off down the hallway and passes Elizabeth and Lucky. Elizabeth is disgusted at Ms. Sneed for badgering Sam about why she was late and making Sam blurt out her personal business, hiding her own dismay at learning that Sam and Jason were intimate last night and are trying to conceive. Lucky found the conversation sort of amusing and that Sam just announced she is trying to get pregnant. He asks Elizabeth if she thought it would be nice if their child grew up with Jason and Sam's child and they became friends. 

Carly doesn't listen and heads to the hospital to see Elizabeth in person. Elizabeth is working at the nurses' station when Carly shows up. Carly asks her to step into the waiting area so they can talk more privately. Elizabeth tries to blow her off by telling her she is working. Carly insists they talk unless she wants to blurt out something for everyone to hear. Elizabeth asks her what she wants? Carly tells Elizabeth to stay away from Jason. Elizabeth refuses to stay away from Jason because they are close friends. Carly accuses Elizabeth of having a hidden agenda and that she wants Jason for herself. Sam comes by and overhears their conversation. Elizabeth tells Carly that when Jason thought he could be the father of her baby, he offered to marry her. Sam is disturbed by what Elizabeth says. Carly tells Elizabeth that Jason loves Sam and wants to have a baby with her and warns her to stay away from Jason. 

Liz arrived at the penthouse to thank Jason for saving her. She confessed that she was on the way to see him on the night of her accident and was on the verge of telling him that he's the father of her baby when Lucky knocks on the door. Elizabeth runs into the other room and hides while Lucky questions Jason about the feud between Sonny and Alcazar. While they are talking Lucky gets a call about Alcazar's shooting and he leaves. Elizabeth comes out from hiding and she has changed her mind about telling Jason the truth. She and Jason leave the penthouse but Elizabeth accidentally forgets her scarf. Sam comes home to the empty penthouse and finds Elizabeth's scarf. Sam gets jealous and upset as she thinks about all the times Elizabeth has been there and she goes to the hospital and confronts Elizabeth. Back at General Hospital, Elizabeth literally runs into Father Mateo Ruiz and she is completely freaked out by his appearance and resemblance to Manny. Bobbie approached Liz about the earlier incident with Sam. As Liz told her about Jason saving her on New Year's, Bobbie tried to give some insight about what Sam might be feeling. Jenny visited Liz at the nurse's station and thanked her for telling the truth about her baby's paternity. Liz was only looking out for the baby's medical care, but Jenny said that now her husband is in rehab, and she can be with his best friend. They walk away arm-in-arm. 

At the nurses' station, Sam approached Liz and publicly confronted her about what she wants from Jason. Ms. Sneed, the hospital administrator broke up the argument and threatened to put both women on probation. Epiphany stepped in and told Ms. Sneed that she could not do that because Sam was off duty, and Elizabeth is not under the administrator's authority. Epiphany then told Sam that she ought to show some respect, given the fact that Elizabeth risked her career to break Sam out of the hospital and Epiphany faked being a hostage all because Jason asked them to. Sam was still indignant and promptly quit her job. At the hospital, Epiphany reprimanded Jason for Sam's behavior. He apologized to her, and then to Elizabeth. Liz accepted the apology but acknowledged that Sam may be right about her spending too much time with Jason. Later, Jason watched as a poor parishioner embraced Father Ruiz for helping his family with medical expenses. Elizabeth goes to talk to Jason and explains her situation with Lucky. She doesn't think she wants to get back together with him, but she's worried he'll go back on pills if he realizes they are over forever. She doesn't want to be responsible for Lucky's undoing. She goes to the church to confess and tells Father Ruiz that if she's not able to tell Jason that she's carrying their child, she'll never get to tell him that she's in love with him. 

Elizabeth runs into Jason at the coffee shop he owns with Sonny. She is drinking some tea and tells him the shop has more selections of tea than Kelly's has. He sits down with her. He tells her the tea is on the house and she thanks him. They talk and Elizabeth thanks him for being there for her when she talked about Lucky at the park and tells him it is easy to talk to him. Jason tells her that it is because they trust each other. Elizabeth tells him she hasn't always been truthful with him and talks about how you can't expect two people will be able to make things work unless both people want it to. She is about to tell him how she feels when he brings up trust being necessary in a relationship. She asks him if he trusts Sam. He tells her he loves Sam and wants her to be happy. Elizabeth loses her nerves and wishes him the best with Sam and leaves. 

Elizabeth stops by the coffee house to get some special coffee for her grandmother since she's watching the boys for her tonight. Jason stops to talk to her and asks if she's working tonight. Elizabeth explains that she's going to dinner with Lucky. She doesn't want him to read too much into it, but she's still concerned about him going back on drugs. Liz runs into Jason who is deep in thought. She tells him that he can talk to her if he needs someone to listen. Especially since he's always there to listen to her. He tells her that he helped convince Carly to marry Sonny, because he knew that's what Sonny wanted. But Sonny wants more than a marriage of convenience. Carly is in love with Jax and doesn't want to be with Sonny. Jason feels responsible for Carly's unhappiness. Liz tells him that unfortunately you can't pick who you fall in love with. Elizabeth seems to be talking in riddles about unborn children and how she must do what is best for her unborn child. She tells Jason that he may have an unborn child but doesn't explain what she means which confuses Jason. She tells him that she is having dinner with Lucky but that she doesn't feel the same way about him like she used to. Jason tries to get her to clarify what she is trying to tell him when she brings up having secrets. Elizabeth is tempted to tell him he is her baby's biological father but loses her nerve and leaves without explaining herself. Jason runs into Elizabeth again on the bridge. Liz tells Jason that she is tired of everyone bothering her about Lucky. Jason tells her to focus on what she needs, and tells her he'd like to help. 

At the Metro Court hotel, Mr. Craig and gang burst into the hotel lobby with guns blazing. Mac and a team of police officers are surrounding the Metro Court Hotel. They see a masked figure in black scaling the side of the building. As the police train their guns on the dark figure, Sam jumps down and pulls off her mask. She yelss that the buidling is wired to explode and they have to get the everyone out now! Gunshots erupt inside and they hear people screaming as the Metro Court is under seige with hostages being held. The police storm the building, Nik runs out with Robin in his arms. He cries out that Robin has been hit. He lays her down and Patrick runs over to check on her condition. Sam yells for Jason as Nik runs back towards the hotel to reach Emily as an explosion rocks the hotel. The scene switches to 12 Hours before in Port Charles. Inside the hotel, Mr. Craig, disguised in a ski mask and black clothing tells everyone to stay where they are and don't move. He tells them that his men are going to go around the room and wants them to put all of their valuables inside the bags. Sam tries to push the silent alarm behind the service desk but Mr. Craig notices it and tells her to put her hands up where he can see them. She does manage to activate the alarm somehow because the police respond on the scene outside the front entrance of the hotel. Jason also shows up at the hotel and looks inside the window before the hostage-takers paint all the windows in black. He sees what is going on and tells Mac what he saw. Mac sets up the swat team and his other cops. He tells Jason that they have a protocol they follow in hostage situations. 

Elizabeth takes out her cell-phone and tries get Lucky's help but Mr. Craig notices her and has his men grab for the cell-phone and rough handle her a little bit. Emily yells at them to be gentle because Elizabeth is pregnant. Maxie is standing behind the desk with Sam and makes a remark to Elizabeth about how she shouldn't endanger Lucky's baby by trying to be heroic because it was stupid. Carly steps up and tells Mr. Craig off. She tells him she is one of the owners of the hotel and that she is responsible for the welfare of her guests and employees. Mr. Craig orders everyone to take out their cell-phones, beepers, or pagers and put them in the bag. Mr. Craig makes Carly take off her engagement ring and put it in the bag also. Carly refuses to give up her ring in order to keep Mr. Craig talking so she can try to remember why his voice is so familiar to her. Sonny steps in and tries to get Mr. Craig to let her keep the ring. Carly gives up the ring anyway. Carly and Sonny try to create a diversion so that Sam can set off another silent alarm and close the vault shut. Sonny whispers to Carly that he doesn't think this is just a simple robbery and that they are here to look for something. Sonny thinks this involves the shipment that Alcazar was waiting for that made him desperate enough to try and kill him over finding out about. Sonny goes over to one of the clerks and asks him if Alcazar stored anything in the vault earlier today. Carly confronts Mr. Craig again to divert attention onto herself. 

Mr. Craig has two of his men go into the vault and take a hostage with them. They grab Maxie, who protests as they drag her into the vault room. Sam hits the button behind the desk to close the vault down and Sonny motions to her not to do it just as Mr. Craig turns around. However, it is too late and the steeled door to the vault starts to close. The two men and Maxie try to get out of the vault before it closes but only one of the men escapes and Maxie ends up locked in the vault with the other guy and Alcazar's briefcase still inside with them. Maxie is scared and starts babbling about getting killed inside the vault because of a lack of oxygen. Mr. Craig's man tells her there is enough oxygen for them to breathe just fine. Maxie asks him not to shoot her. Meanwhile, the other guy returns to report to Mr. Craig that the vault door shut completely and he couldn't get the briefcase out with him and the other two are sealed inside. Carly informs Mr. Craig that the vault will remained sealed for the next 12 hours before they can activate it to open again. Mr. Craig tries to not let it bother them. Sonny tells him he should leave while he can because a lot can happen in 12 hours like the police may come in and shoot them before he can get into the vault. 

Suddenly Mac's voice can be heard from outside announcing the police's arrival and how the place is surrounded. Mr. Craig tells them that he won't be able to escape now and takes everyone as hostages. He tells everyone that he wants them to play a game. He has some sort of black box in his hand and tells them he is going to toss it to someone and he wants them to say their name and give themselves a nickname that tells him something about them and they get points if they rhyme. The hostages toss the box around and do what Mr. Craig asks. One of the hotel clerks freezes and can't think of a nickname and Mr. Craig points a gun at him as if he is going to kill him. Mr. Craig also takes Sonny's gun away as well. Mr. Craig shocks everyone when he takes his gun and shoots Robin all of a sudden for no real reason. He tells them he did it to show that he is in charge and they must do what he says or they will be next. 

Eleven hours earlier at 6 p.m., the hostage situation has escalated. Mac ordered Rodriguez and Lucky to go inside and get as many people as possible out before things got worse. Spinelli told Jason about Alacazar's briefcase; Jason quickly ran off to find Skye at the hospital and demanded to know what exactly Alcazar had that the robbers needed? He broke the news that they were holding everyone hostage and people were going to die if she didn't help hand over whatever they needed. Skye claimed she didn't know anything, but remembered that Alan and Emily were there for the charity gala occurring on the top floor. She told Jason that Alcazar was only acting as a middle man for Mr. Craig. Then Patrick arrived to tell Skye that Alcazar was fine, but he was waiting on test results so he could remove more shrapnel. Jason let Patrick in on the news about the situation at Metro and told him he needed to wake Alcazar up, stat! They needed the access code to the briefcase; Alcazar's the only one who knows it. 

In the lobby, Sonny dared Mr.Craig to shoot him. Mr. Craig cocked his gun and pointed it at Carly, seething "Ladies, first." Later, a severely injured Robin started moaning. Alan said he was a doctor and begged the robbers to let him help her; no dice. Sonny spoke up, reminding the criminals that if they get caught they'll go to prison for good, especially for killing innocent people then asked once again if medical personnel could assist Robin. Finally the baddie allowed Elizabeth, Emily and Alan to assist Robin. Then Alan lost it and railed at Mr.Craig because he was unable to properly care for Robin in such conditions; the hooligan had Alan pistol-whipped and he fell to the ground. Later, Nikolas offered the criminals one million dollars (admitting he was a filthy rich Cassadine) if they let Robin go; Sonny countered that he had a better offer because he had lots of power in the P.C. He bartered that he'd find a way for the robbers to escape if they let Robin go; they weren't digging the proposition. Then Carly tried to create a diversion, but Sonny stopped her, demanding she not do anything he doesn't tell her to do. Mac called the "kidnappers" who smugly informed him that they'd shot Robin; Spinelli spread word to Jason, who told a shocked Patrick. Jason and Spinelli tried to figure out why the hostages were being kept alive. Mes (one of the bad guys) explains to the hostages that the entire hotel is laced with explosives so they better just sit down and relax unless they all want to die. 

Ten hours earlier, Spinelli breaks into the Metro Court surveillance system and he and Jason review the footage from when the mercenaries took over the hotel. He tries to figure out which one of them is Mr. Craig and tells Spinelli to find out all the information he can about him. He says Spinelli that he will go into Metro Court and try and take out the mercenaries himself. Emily says that Robin needs surgery. Mr. Craig torments the hostages and takes a shot in Sonny's direction but hits the wall. He continues to threaten everyone with the detonator. Mr. Craig says they'll play a new game and he will pair everyone up and the one without a partner loses. Lulu inquires about what will happen if there is an even number of people? Mr. Craig says that he will have to get rid of someone and points his gun at Elizabeth. He then has one of the mercenaries take Elizabeth to another room. Once placed in the other room, Elizabeth turns on the lights and realizes she is in the same room as Alan. He asks her about Robin. He appears to be in pain. Mr. Craig brings Emily to the same room that both Alan and Elizabeth are in. Once there, he says that he has to bring one of them back to the room and Elizabeth says she will go. Sam and Elizabeth are placed together. Sam asks Elizabeth about the room she was in and Sam recalls that there is a cell phone in room. She tells Elizabeth that someone needs to get in there and Mr. Craig approaches them asking about their conversation. Sam stands up and unmasks Mr. Craig. 

Mr. Craig refuses to allow Patrick to enter the hotel, but does allow him to give Carly instructions on how to operate on Robin using items found in the hotel. Mr. Craig tells Carly she can pick one person to help her and she chooses Emily. Mr. Craig tells Nikolas that he must go on a scavenger hunt to find the items needed for Robin's surgery in ten minutes or be killed. He allows Sam to go with him. They are able to come back just in the nick of time with all the items. They start the surgery and everything is going fine until an artery is cut and blood starts gushing out. Jason has Spinelli hack into the hotel's computer system where he learns that the locks will reset themselves at 1100 pm. Jason plans on entering the hotel at that time. 

Eight hours earlier, Craig pulls a gun on Elizabeth as she tries to help Robin, but he later relents to let her assist Carly and Emily. With Patrick's coaching, they are able to stop the bleeding, until Craig orders them to stop and forces Carly to stitch Robin herself. Spinelli and Jason work to access the hospital cameras. Spinelli tells Jason that he wants to help. Elizabeth and Sam are forced to clean up after Robin's surgery. They find a knife, and Sam conceals it, she later slips it to Father Ruiz. Spinelli tells Jason he will go with him so that he can rescue Lulu. He believes she would do the same for him. 

Seven hours earlier, Robin wakes up in extreme pain because of the surgery done on her. She makes a lot of noise which bothers the hostage-takers. They order Emily and Elizabeth to get Robin to shut up or they will shoot her and kill her now. Elizabeth asks them if she can go to the hotel gift shop and get some painrelievers for Robin? They say no to it since aspirin won't help Robin. Lulu stands up and suggests that they give Robin some alcohol which is set up right there in the lobby to help numb Robin. They say no but Sam stands up and yells at them to let Lulu bring Robin something to help numb the pain and then Robin will stop yelling out in pain. However, Mr. Craig comes in the room and objects to Lulu bringing anything over to Robin since she is always causing trouble with her mouth. Sam tries to pass the knife she got from Elizabeth that was used for Robin's surgery to Father Mateo. Mateo whispers to her that he can't use the knife on anyone. Sam is disgusted that he can't do what he used to do naturally when he was younger and in gangs to help them. Sam hides the knife again when Mr. Craig comes over and asks them what they are whispering to each other about. Sam explains that Mateo is the identical twin brother of the man who tried to rape and kill her and that she doesn't trust him to be just like his brother still. Mr. Craig asks Father Mateo if he secretly lusts after Sam like his brother did. Father Mateo says no and that he is praying to God for Mr. Craig's soul right now. 

Jason and Spinelli plan how they are going to get into the hotel without being seen by the police or Mr. Craig. Mike shows up at Sonny's office with a blueprint of the hotel that he had and claims he used one of the back rooms of the hotel to play poker and gamble and knows a way for Jason and Spinelli to get inside without being seen. Jason thanks Mike. Mike asks Jason he can thank him by getting his son out of the hotel alive. Spinelli shows Jason some hi-tech headphone pieces that can be used as a mini radio device so they can communicate with each other quietly. He tests the things. Jason asks Spinelli to find out what he can on Mr. Craig to see if there is anything they can use to get to him. Ric shows up with a warrant to detain Jason for 48 hours to keep him from going into the hotel to try and stop the hostage-takers on his own. Jason gets a call on his cell-phone from Sonny, who has a phone held to his ear by Craig himself. Sonny asks Jason if it is safe to talk? Jason signals him that it really isn't. Sonny tells him what he wants Jason to do and Jason says okay. Ric waits until he hangs up with Sonny. He thinks that Jason was okaying the plan to get inside the hotel. Ric surprises Jason when he rips up the arrest warrant and tells him he can go inside the hotel and do what he can to save the hostages. He tells Jason that he hopes Jason gets himself killed but saves the hostages because then it would be a win-win situation for him. Jason doesn't respond to Ric so Ric leaves. Jason and Spinelli head out to the hotel to put their plan in motion. 

Robin drinks some vodka out of the bottle and starts to not feel any pain from the surgery. She is surprised when Emily tells her that Carly helped save her life by sewing up her wound with Patrick's guidance over the phone even though they couldn't remove the bullet. Robin asks them to make sure Patrick is taken care of if she doesn't make it and that whatever woman becomes part of his life will have a miserable time in the beginning and jokes that maybe that misery should be put on Carly. Emily and Elizabeth laugh and tell her that she needs to live because she wouldn't be able to stand it if Carly and Patrick got together. Later, Elizabeth starts cramping up which concerns Lulu, who asks if she can get some water for Elizabeth because she is dehydrated. Mr. Craig objects to it since he doesn't think water will help Elizabeth. Sam stands up and yells at Mr. Craig about not being reasonable about Elizabeth and points out that no one wants to have to deal with Elizabeth going into labor so just let her have some water. Elizabeth gets her water. Mr. Craig warns Sam to back off and tells her she isn't very bright if she thinks he won't hesitate to kill her. Sam smiles at him and tells him she isn't scared of him. She distracts him enough and Max helps also. Sam manages to knock the gun out of Mr. Craig's hand and puts him in a choke hold and puts the knife she had hidden against his throat. Jason and Spinelli get to one of the back entrances of the hotel. Spinelli uses one of his gizmos and disengages the alarm to unlock one of the doors to get inside the hotel. 

Six hours earlier, Mr. Craig decides to move everyone around again to make sure they don't get comfortable and start to plot against the mercenaries. While Mr. Craig was in the other room, one of the other mercenaries took mercy on Alan and allowed Emil to go and get a defibulator. Mr. Craig is furious when he learns that this has been done. He decides to make Emily decide who gets to go home, her father or her best friend. Elizabeth is dehydrated and desperately needs fluids. She is cramping badly, and everyone fears is that she will go into labor early and lose the child. Jason and Spinelli get into the hotel and end up in the room where Sonny was beaten. Jason finds blood on the floor and wonders what happened. He decides that he needs to get up into the air ducts in order to see what's going on in the lobby. 

Five hours earlier, Mr. Craig tells Emily that she must choose who leaves the hotel, Alan or Elizabeth. Alan tries to convince Emily to choose Elizabeth but Emily tells him she will assess the situation as a doctor and choose the one who needs help more. Elizabeth tells Emily that her pains are less intense and it is just from dehydration, that she knows she is not in labor. Emily tells her not to try and make it easy for her to decide. Mr. Craig yells at her to make a decision but Six tells him that the more Emily agonizes over choosing, the more fun it is for him and that he should allow her to take her time. After some time, Mr. Craig once again yells at Emily to choose and becomes forceful with her. Nikolas stands up to divert attention to himself. Mr. Craig turns to shoot him and Six again talks to him, stopping him from shooting Nikolas. Mr. Craig gets angry and decides to shoot someone else instead, Max. Spinelli watches as Sonny tries to talk one of the guys out of shooting him. Mr. Craig comes in and tells him to tie up Sonny instead. Jason listens on while in the air-duct. There is some commotion in the lobby, so other men come to take Sonny back to the lobby. Jason comes out of the air-duct and startles Spinelli. Jason begins looking around the room and Five comes in, Jason knocks him out and takes his clothing and mask. Before he heads out of the room, Spinelli asks Jason to watch out for Lulu. Alone in the room, Five comes to and Spinelli knocks him out with his laptop. Jason enters the lobby as Emily makes her decision. She chooses Alan. Mr. Craig says that he needs to walk out on his own but after Emily becomes unruly, he allows Four and Five/Jason to walk Alan out. Once outside, snipers start firing and Alan collapses. Luke and Lucky look on from a window and Luke realizes that Alan is having a heart attack. Jason watches his father, and then turns around as Carly looks at him and she realizes that he is Jason. 

Four hours earlier, shots are fired between the gunman and police as Alan exits the building. He falls to the ground, holding his chest. Observing from the inside, Luke and Lucky break out of the building to help Alan. Luke fires at the sniper, while Lucky and other officers shield Alan and bring him to safety. Emily loses it on Craig for shooting her father, and in her rage, is about to pull off Jason's mask. Carly, who realizes that Jason is there, stops her in time. Emily asks Craig what his purpose is? Craig tries to remind the hostages that he is in charge, and tells Emily to stop her hysterics. 

#6B  Carly observes the masked Jason, and whispers to Sonny she wishes that Jason could be with them, but it's a shame he's in Paris (hinting perhaps as Jason is standing near Robin who once lived in Paris). Sonny catches on and looks towards where the masked Jason is standing. Sam consoles Elizabeth in her agony. She talks about the first time she saw Cameron. Luke grabs a megaphone and tries to bargain with Craig. He tells him about the code that is needed to open the brief case, and that he will exchange himself and the code in return for the release of the hostages. Craig asks Lulu who the voice is, and she tells them it is her Dad. Craig opens the door with a gun held at Lulu's head. He asks for the code, or Lulu will die. He questions Luke's timing, and Luke tries to explain that Lorenzo is incapacitated. Craig insists on the code for Lulu's life. 

Three hours earlier, as soon as Luke sees Mr. Craig put the gun to Lulu's head he gets scared and blurts out a phony code number. Sonny tries to convince Mr. Craig to leave now. Although he will leave without what he came for, he will still leave with his life. Mr. Craig listens, but doesn't appear to take his advice. He takes Lulu and tells the masked Jason to put her back in the office. When they get behind closed doors, Jason reveals himself to Lulu. She is mad at him at first, but then realizes he is there to save her. Spinelli comes out of hiding. Jason wants Spinelli and Lulu to escape, but Lulu defies him when she realizes that once Mr. Craig realizes she is gone the lives of everyone else involved will be at stake. When Mr. Craig finds Spinelli, he puts him to work trying to crack open the vault ahead of schedule. He tells him he has one hour before he kills Lulu. Sam talks Elizabeth through the contractions and the two talk about Jason, unknowing that he is standing there as a mercenary. Elizabeth explains that she could never have married Jason, even if the baby was his, because he's in love with Sam. Elizabeth's cramps subside just as Sam realizes that Jason is there with them. 

Two hours earlier, the hostages sit on the floor and around the lobby whispering to each other to find a way to escape. Spinelli works on the hotel computer to find a way to open up the vault. Sam and Elizabeth whisper to each other as well about how Elizabeth is feeling. Elizabeth tells Sam that the cramps have died down a little and she is feeling better. The female mercenary named Number 5 watches Jason and tells him to watch what he is doing. Sam realizes that Jason is one of the masked men and whispers to Elizabeth. Elizabeth looks over at Jason who nods to her to let her know it is him. Mr. Craig orders Jason to guard Sam and Elizabeth. Sam and Elizabeth start whispering about who should try to escape first. Elizabeth thinks Sam should go but Sam disagrees because Elizabeth needs medical help, not herself. Jason wait until no one is watching them and comes closer to them. He tells Sam that he wants her to make her escape when he gives the okay so she can go out and warn the police about the vault and the possible explosion. Mr. Craig comes over and asks them what they are whispering about. He warns Jason not to trust Sam because of what she is capable of doing. He also tells them that they will get demerit points every time they do something against his rules and that the first person to get ten demerit points will die. He warns Sam that she already has eight demerit points. He sends Jason to guard Spinelli and Lulu next. Spinelli is getting very close to getting the vault to open earlier and asks Lulu if he should do it now or stall them. Lulu thinks he should stall it because she is afraid that if the vault opens now and Mr. Craig gets what he wants he will kill them all that much sooner. Jason whispers that they need to do it sooner rather than later and that he has a plan in motion. Lulu reluctantly agrees to go with Jason's plan. Meanwhile, one of the mercenaries starts harassing Father Mateo when he asks for help with Max, who has a shoulder wound that is bleeding. He starts picking on him about his tattoos and what they mean. Father Mateo calmly tells him that the tattoo on his neck is of his brother Manuel and that it is a daily reminder of how his brother died by living a life of violence and that he wants a better life for himself. The mercenary dares the priest to turn the other cheek. He ends up shoving a gun into the priest's stomach to show who is in charge. Max waits for a diversion and grabs for the guy's gun while Mateo takes the guy's knife and slits his throat. Jason watches Father Mateo in shock at what he just did. 

One hour earlier, the female mercenary shoots Father Mateo in retaliation. Mr. Craig explain to the rest of the hostages that Mr. Corinthos will be providing the access code once Spinelli gets the vault open. Mr. Craig takes Lulu and Spinelli to the vault, where Spinelli enters a code and it opens. When Mr. Craig sees the briefcase he realizes that Sonny and Luke weren't lying. Three is hesitant, but hands over the briefcase. Sonny tries to convince Mr. Craig to let all the hostages go, but he will only go with the original plan. Mr. Craig opens the briefcase with the password Sonny provides and he tells Carly she can go. Carly refuses to leave Sonny's side, though. Mr. Craig is distracted so Jason gives Sam the signal to make her escape. Sam rushes outside just as the cops turn the lights out. She warns them that the lobby is rigged with explosives. As the police start to throw tear gas into the hotel, Jason tackles Mr. Craig to keep him from detonating the explosives. The SWAT team enters the hotel and chaos erupts. There's a mad dash for the door, but the tear gas keeps people from being able to see the exits. Nikolas carries Robin out. Three helps Maxie out. Lulu and Spinelli run out together. Sonny and Carly hide behind a couch. Jason finds Elizabeth and tries to rescue her. Outside, Nikolas is updating Patrick on Robin's status when he realizes that Emily isn't there with him. He starts to go back inside when the hotel explodes. The Metro Court is a pile of rubble and bodies are everywhere. We are shown a replay of the preceding events. Rescuers go inside to look for victims. Elizabeth and a masked man appear to have been thrown into the elevator from the blast. Elizabeth is scared but is quickly relieved when he removes his mask and it is Jason. They talk about everything that has happened and Jason feels guilty that he didn't do more to help. Elizabeth reassures him that he did everything he could. They talk about Sam and Jason wonders if she is okay? Elizabeth feels the baby kick and she has Jason feel it. She then tells him that he is the reason the baby is alive and that he, not Lucky, is the father of her baby. 

In the elevator, Jason asks Elizabeth why she didn't tell him about the baby? Liz reminds Jason that he was not around at the time she found out the baby's paternity. She says that Sonny came upon her as she received the paternity results. He asked her about it and she told him that it was the result she expected and that Sonny assumed that meant that Lucky was the father. She goes onto explain that Carly came to the same conclusion that the baby belonged to Lucky as Carly assumed if Jason was the father that Liz would immediately run to him and since she hadn't that Lucky must be the father. She was prepared to tell him face-to-face, but Carly had already told Jason that he was not the father. When Jason told her it was for the best that the baby was Lucky's, she let it go. She has no regrets about making this baby with Jason. Jason tells her he understands if she lied to protect the baby, but he didn't understand if it was for any other reason. Liz tells Jason that she did tell him about the baby the night she found him shot in the chapel. Jason recalls that Liz told him something important, and realizes it all makes sense now. She reminds Jason that Lucky doesn't know they slept together. She tells Jason not to make excuses for her. They agree that they do not want to hurt Sam or Lucky. Jason admits, however, that when Carly told him the baby was not his, that he felt a sense of loss. He tells her he wants this child more than anything and he asks her to marry him. Elizabeth wants to keep the fact that Jason is the father a secret longer. She wants to delay telling Lucky that he isn't the father since he has been looking forward to the new Spencer baby. Jason tells her that he can't keep something like that from Sam. Elizabeth decides that it's in everyone's best interest if they are all honest with each other. The rescuers find Jason and Liz and help is on the way. Liz hugs Jason in relief commenting that they made it! 

Lucky's partner comes up and comments in front of Sam that at this point that he doesn't see how anyone in the lobby could still be alive. The fire marshall has declared the structure unsafe and they don't believe there are anymore survivors. It's a couple of hours later as Sam and Lucky continue to wait for news. Lucky resolves to get revenge on Mr. Craig and runs off. Lucky goes running after Mr. Craig on the docks. He comes to a clearing where a man is waiting. He asks the man if he has seen a 5 foot 11 inch man with sandy, blonde hair. The man claims he's seen nothing and runs away asking him not to shoot him. Lucky turns around and Mr. Craig hits him over the head with a pipe. When Mr. Craig asks him why he ran after him instead of trying to rescue people in the hotel, Lucky explains that his pregnant wife was one of the hostages. Realizing who he's talking about, Mr. Craig tells Lucky that he stepped over Elizabeth's body on his way out of the hotel. Upon hearing this news, Lucky becomes even more reckless, not caring if he lives or dies. After Jason and Liz are rescued, Elizabeth sits on a gurney and gets examined. Everything appears to be fine with her and the baby. She witnesses Sam and Jason reunite and is heartbroken at their reunion. Sam tells him that Elizabeth told him everything that happened. Jason thinks at first that Elizabeth told Sam that he was the baby's father but Elizabeth shakes her head no to him while Sam isn't looking. Jason tells her they need to talk soon. Sam tells him he needs to go to the hospital and get checked out first. 

Lucky confronts Mr. Craig, who gets Lucky's gun from him and is about to kill him. Lucky believes Craig when he claims he stepped over Elizabeth's dead body when he escaped from the hotel earlier. Lucky dares him to kill him now since he has no life without Elizabeth anyway. Lucky's partner Rodriguez steps in front of him and shields him from taking a bullet. Craig ends up taking off from them. Lucky gets upset with Rodriguez for not going after Craig right away. Rodriguez tells him that he shouldn't have taken on Craig by himself without backup. Lucky tells him that he wouldn't have cared if Craig shot and killed him since Craig just told him he stepped over Elizabeth's body on his way out of the hotel. Rodriguez acts like the voice of reason and tells him that he shouldn't have let Craig get inside his head and play mind games with him like that. Suddenly, Rodriguez gets a call on his cell-phone about what is going on back at the hotel. He gets word that Elizabeth has been found and she is alive. Lucky heads back to the area and finds Epiphany there but no Elizabeth. She assures him that Elizabeth and the baby seem fine but that she has been sent to the hospital for more tests. Later, Jason shows up at the hospital with Sam. They go to the ER with Elizabeth. 

Later, Jason goes to Elizabeth's hospital room and watches through the window of her hospital room, as Lucky lays his head on her and her stroking his hair. Jason talks to Spinelli about some PDA that Craig will be looking for and Jason believes was being carried by the female, mercenary, #5. Craig finds her dead and in a body bag. He looks for her PDA inside her outfit. Sam goes by Elizabeth's room to check on her to see if she is okay and how the baby is. Elizabeth assumes that Jason told Sam the truth and is confused by how upbeat Sam is. She blurts out that she couldn't tell Lucky the truth. Sam asks her what she is talking about. She catches herself just in time as Elizabeth realizes then that Jason hasn't told her the truth either. Sam confesses her own secret. She is unable to have children of her own. Jason goes after Mr. Craig in the unstable and falling down hotel. Mr. Craig finds his PDA and when objects start to fall, he makes a run for it. Jason runs after him and the two start shooting at each other in the stairwell. Mr. Craig tells Jason that Sonny and Carly were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He offers him money to let him leave. Jason shoots him in the arm. After more gunfire, Spinelli arrives and tells Jason he needs to get to the hospital. Mr. Craig allows him to leave, giving him a free getaway. 

Lucky arrives at Elizabeth's hospital room with flowers. He does not overhear her on the phone, leaving Jason a message about the baby. Jason arrives to a find a heartbroken Emily sobbing outside of Alan's hospital room, Jason realizes he has arrived too late. Jason goes in and apologizes to his deceased father. Jason is seen in Alan's hospital room. Dr. Ford tells him only family can be there, and Jason tells him that Alan is his father. Dr. Ford tells Jason about Alan's final hours, and that he was not in pain at the end. Alone, Jason tells Alan that he was on his way back to see him, and about his attempt to kill Mr. Craig. He tells him about some of the things that Craig said about wasting time, and that you only get one father. He realizes that Craig was right. He tells Alan that he is going to be a father, and that already, he would give up his life for his child. He remembers about all of the times that he hurt Alan, and now he understands the pain he caused. He puts his hand over Alan's and says he's sorry, as his eyes fill up. Jason sees Skye and tells her that Alan is gone. Skye tells Jason about her regret in not telling anyone about the briefcase in the vault. He asks Skye if she knew Craig would seize the building, and if she wanted Alan to die. When she says no on both counts, Jason tells her then this was not her fault. Edward approaches Jason and comforts him. He tells Jason that if Jason had made it on time, he wouldn't have told him anything he does not already know. He tells Jason that if he ever becomes a father, he should learn from his and Alan's mistakes. 

Elizabeth finds Jason on the bridge and asks if he had a chance to see Alan? He says no that by the time he went to see him that it was too late. He tells her that he understands now what it must have been like for Alan after his accident, that he lost his son and got an angry stranger in return. Jason tells him how hard Alan tried to make a connection with him and how he refused all of his efforts. He tells her how proud Alan would have been that he is going to be a father. Liz asks if Jason has told anyone? He says no, and she tells him she hasn't either. Elizabeth surprises Jason when she says that she's fallen back in love with Lucky and is going to marry him. In an emotional appeal, Elizabeth asks Jason to keep her baby's paternity a secret and let Lucky raise the child as his own. Elizabeth feels Lucky would self-destruct if he learned the truth. Jason agrees to do whatever Elizabeth thinks is best for the baby, but is not happy with the decision he has made to let another man raise his child. 

Elizabeth and Jason talk in the hospital. She asks him if he is going to tell Lucky the truth? They are interrupted by Lucky who wants to question Jason about Mr. Craig and the shooting. He tells Jason that he is sure he was busy with Emily and Alan and will write it up that way. He goes on to thank him for saving Elizabeth and the baby during the explosion and offers his sympathy about Alan. Jason calls Elizabeth to finish their discussion. Jason asks her again if Lucky raising the baby is what she wants? She says yes, that it benefits everyone, except him and apologizes. She tells him that he will be able to see the baby at any time but Jason says that will only look suspicious. He says that he will not come around much and that he will stop referring to the baby as his. 

Jason is thinking about Alan when he hears a knock at the door. It is Elizabeth, who knew that Sam was out of town and thought Jason can use a friend. Jason tells Elizabeth that he wants her at Alan's funeral, but acknowledges he is going through a lot. Liz also tells him that part of Alan will always be alive in this child. Liz feels the baby kick. Jason goes to touch her stomach, but pulls away. Liz tells him it's okay. Monica is overjoyed to see Jason arrive for Alan's funeral. Ned eulogizes Alan, acknowledging his virtues and flaws. After the service, Emily comforts Edward while Tracy thanks Ned for his eulogy. She tells him that what she will miss most about Alan is their ability to fight like cats and dogs, and then have breakfast the next day as if nothing ever happened. She questions where she will ever find that gift again. Ned tells her that it may be where she least expects it. In a music montage, Monica has flashbacks about Alan with Jason standing by. The scenes include Alan's proposal to Monica, Monica's cancer, the Nurse's Ball, the annual children's Christmas celebration at the hospital and a scene with Lila. Jason looks at a pre-accident picture of himself and Alan, and remembers a conversation where Alan told Jason that his love for him would never be destroyed. Jason seems at peace knowing that, and takes his leave through the terrace. 

Lulu grabs Spinelli's laptop after he tells her he found something out about Jason that he should not have uncovered and is afraid to tell her what he found out. Lulu demands he tell her and is about to open up his laptop to find out. He takes the laptop from her and opens it to the file he found. He reluctantly tells her that he set up some program to give him a red flag if Jason's name came up in any file he found. He decided to hack into the hospital computers and Jason's name came up. He found a file on him concerning a paternity test that was done. He tells her that Elizabeth's baby is actually Jason's. Lulu is stunned and can't believe it is true. Spinelli hates to tell her that it is true based on what the paternity test says. Lulu gets upset by what she finds out and doesn't know what to do. Jason shows up and notices how nervous they are acting. He asks them what is wrong. Spinelli doesn't know what to say so Lulu makes up something about Spinelli hacked into the computer files at the police station and found out things that Lucky won't like to hear about. She says goodbye to them and leaves after asking Spinelli to get rid of anything concerning Rick Webber's murder and that she doesn't want her dad or Lucky to know that Scott Baldwin may have killed Rick. After Lulu leaves, Jason corners Spinelli and asks him what she was lying to him about just now? Spinelli tries to be as evasive as possible and tells him that he has learned that he must keep forbidden files hidden sometimes so that they don't cause undue harm to people he cares about. Jason tells him he won't demand any answers right now but makes Spinelli promise to come to him if Lulu gets into any danger. Spinelli leaves. 

Jason and Elizabeth run into each other on the pier. Elizabeth has a bag of paint supplies and tells Jason about her and Lucky's plans to paint the nursery. Jason tells her that when Michael was small he use to read to him about Africa and that African safari animals are something small children like to see. Emily comes around the corner and watches them talking. She pretends she doesn't see them. Elizabeth and Emily meet up at the house. Emily brings up the fact that she saw Elizabeth talking to Jason. She asks Elizabeth about her feelings toward Jason and that by seeing him today gave her second thoughts about remarrying Lucky. Elizabeth admits that she cares about Jason and always will but that she loves Lucky and has no doubts about marrying him. She tells Elizabeth that she did once think about what it would be like to be with Jason instead of Lucky and realized they would never work as a couple because of their different lifestyles. Emily feels bad about bringing it up and being suspicious for nothing. Jason returns home to find Lulu waiting for him. Jason tells her he saw Carly and she mentioned that she came by to see her and seemed upset about Elizabeth and him and asks her what is wrong. Lulu asks him point blank if he knows that Elizabeth is actually carrying his baby. Jason is floored that she somehow found out. 

Lulu tells Jason that she knows about his fatherhood of Elizabeth's baby. Jason explains that Liz walked in on Maxie and Lucky the same night he walked in on Sam and Ric. The two found solace in each other. Lulu understands that pain, but tells him that he still needs to tell Lucky the truth. The two argue, but when Lulu leaves, Jason thinks that all is well and Lulu won't spill the beans. When Spinelli walks in, still upset over Maxie trying to look at his computer, Jason confronts him and asks him how Lulu found out about the paternity test. Spinelli explains and Jason tells him he must destroy the evidence. Jason also explains why he hasn't told Sam. Spinelli is stunned to learn that Sam can't have children. Sam walks in as they are discussing this, and Spinelli covers by telling Sam that they are talking about hacking in for a preview of the show Sam is about to be on. They both decline the preview and Spinelli leaves. Lulu shows up to talk to Lucky and he says he has to talk to her, too. Lulu starts asking all kinds of questions like if he is happy with Elizabeth? Lucky tells Lulu that all relationships have ups and downs and Liz stood by him. Lulu appears as if she is going to tell Lucky the truth about the baby when Elizabeth comes downstairs. Lulu starts talking about Scotty and how he keeps insinuating that there are secrets. Elizabeth tells Lulu that sometimes people keep secrets because the truth may be harder to take and can hurt people. 

Lulu tells Jason that she did not tell anyone about the paternity of Liz's baby. She wishes that she did not know the secret now that has gotten his life back together. Lulu questions Jason what he will do when he sees Liz with the baby, and draws comparisons between Jason's situation and that of her own pregnancy last year. Jason acknowledges that he thinks about the child all of the time. He will try to stay away from his child, but does not know how he will do it. Jason wants to tell Sam about the baby, but cannot because of Sam's inability to have children. Lulu offers that Sam could be a stepmom to the baby, but Jason feels that custody battles are not good for anyone. He knows that his work is dangerous for a child, and he cannot be selfish. He tells Lulu to tell Lucky if she feels that she must, but the results might not be what she wants. She notes that Jason and Lucky look enough alike that no one will question the baby's paternity. Lucky enters Sonny's office and tells Jason that he wants to make amends since he and Elizabeth are getting married the next day. Jason stops him and tells him that he doesn't understand, that Liz is carrying his baby not Lucky's! This is quite a shocker until Sam wakes Jason up from the nightmare he is having. 

Elizabeth is getting cold feet about the wedding, she thinks back to Jason telling her that he would marry her. Emily shows up to help her get ready and tells her she shouldn't marry Lucky if she isn't ready to just because she is pregnant. Elizabeth puts on a brave face and tells Emily she is doing the right thing and loves Lucky. Emily gets paged by the hospital about a patient who was one of Alan's patients that she took over caring for. She tells Elizabeth that she feels obligated to go see about him at the hospital and promises to be back by the time the reception. Elizabeth is very understanding and tells her to do what she needs to do. Emily comes downstairs and tells Lulu that Elizabeth wants to talk to her. Lulu goes upstairs and Elizabeth asks her to stand in for Emily as her maid of honor. Lulu can't believe she would ask her and blurts out something about what nerve she has to ask her to that after what she is doing to Lucky. Elizabeth has no idea what Lulu is talking about. Lulu is about to tell her that she knows the truth about Jason being the real father of her baby but Bobbie and Lesley walk in with things to help Elizabeth get ready to go down the aisle. Lulu doesn't say anything more. 

Carly shows up at the coffee shop office and begs for Jason to be her date for the wedding because she needs someone to stop her from saying something she will regret because all of her family will be there and she doesn't get along with all of them including Luke. Jason tells her he isn't comfortable about going to the wedding after what happened between Elizabeth and him. Carly promises she will be on her best behavior and needs to be there for Lulu. Jason ends up showing up for the wedding but tells her he doesn't think it is a good idea. Jason feels even more uncomfortable when Lucky greets him and tells him he is one of his most honored guests because he saved Elizabeth and their unborn baby in the hotel after the hostage crisis. The wedding ceremony begins and Elizabeth walks down the stairs. She is a little dismayed when she sees Jason there watching her. She greets Lucky and the justice of the peace. Maxie shows up and watches from the window outside on the porch. The ceremony begins and when it gets to the part when someone who feels they shouldn't be married should speak now or hold their peace. Lulu looks like she is about to object as Jason watches in alarm as well as Spinelli. The priest did the "speak now or forever hold your peace" portion and Spinelli cried, "The Jackal objects!" so Lulu would hold her peace. He went off on a anti-marriage rant and Lulu dragged her "boyfriend" out the door. The ceremony continued with the vows. Jason twitched when Lucky mentioned Cam and the new baby. Lulu and Spinelli come back in on the "You may kiss the bride," and family pictures. Later at Kelly's, Lulu cited Nikolas donating bone marrow while talking to Jason about paternity reveals. Of course, Jason maintained that Liz made her decision. 

Lulu and Jason discuss the baby. Lulu tries to come up with different scenarios as to how he can be a part of the baby's life. He tells her the situation is the best the way it is and then shares with her the history of Michael. He says though that he would be relieved if the truth came out. In a moment of clarity following his discussion with Lulu, Jason visits AJ's grave. He says that he finally realizes how AJ felt when he took Michael away from him, since he is in a similar situation now with Elizabeth. He apologizes for not giving AJ a chance to be a father and sadly observes that he looks like he now also won't have a chance to be a father. Back at the penthouse, Jason flashes back to a conversation he had with Elizabeth where she tearfully pleads for him to let Lucky raise their child. Spinelli visits Jason, who thanks him for keeping the baby's paternity a secret. Jason tells him that revealing the truth would devastate Sam. Spinelli suggests various alternatives to keeping quiet, such as shared custody. As they talk about the situation, Sam walks in asks why they are so serious. Spinelli uses Lulu as an excuse and takes his leave. 

Jason walks into Sonny's office and finds Spinelli at the head of Sonny's desk. He asks him what he is doing there and Spinelli tells him he needed privacy in order to delete the paternity files. Jason is surprised to know that Spinelli hadn't already deleted the files and orders him to do so immediately. After Spinelli deletes the files, he notices how upset Jason is. He offers to pull up Elizabeth's test results and ultrasounds so they can look at the baby and tell if it's a boy or a girl. Spinelli starts to ramble about what Jason would name a girl (mentioning that Lulu is a beautiful name) when Jason abruptly cuts him off. He tells him that he's not going to be able to name his child so it doesn't matter. He doesn't want to see a picture of his child because he's supposed to be giving up the child and he doesn't want to become attached. Jason is visibly upset and leaves. He finds Elizabeth and Cameron at the park. Elizabeth had just come from Kelly's where she invited Lulu to come with her and Cameron to the park, but Lulu tells her she has studying to do. Elizabeth asks why she's suddenly avoiding her. Lulu tells her that it just seems strange how she was so against ever getting back together with her brother and then suddenly she marries him again. Lucky comes in and unknowingly splits up the argument by sitting down and talking to the two ladies. Later, when Jason runs into Elizabeth and Cameron at the park, he offers to push Cameron on the swings. Elizabeth watches the two and starts crying softly. Jason asks her what's wrong and she tells him that he is a natural father and it must be hard for him to not be a part of his baby's life. He asks her if she's changed her mind about telling the truth? 

Jason sees Liz on the docks and notices she is upset. Liz tells him about the injured cop, and that Lucky put himself in the line of fire. She now thinks she is a hypocrite since Lucky's job is just as dangerous as Jason's. She tells Jason she loves Lucky but is worried about his job. She feels the baby kicking, and lets Jason feel her stomach. She tells him about the utltra-sound and will get him a copy. He declines and says that as long as she and the baby are happy, he's okay. Lucky and Lulu walk in on Jason feeling Elizabeth's baby kick but doesn't seem bothered by it. After Lulu and Jason leave, Lucky tells Liz that he knows what is going on. She is worried the job will be too stressful on him and he will turn back to jobs. Liz tells him that she trusts him, but she does still worry about the stress of the job. 

Lulu tells Jason that he needs to talk to someone to get an objective opinion about staying out of his child's life. He asks who she thinks he should go to and she tells him he should talk to Carly. He absolutely refuses saying that Carly will harass Liz. Lulu points out that Carly was the only one who she could talk to when she was contemplating having the abortion. After Lulu leaves, there is a knock at the door. When Jason opens the door, he is handed a package. It is from Liz. She sent him an ultrasound photo and tells him she thinks it might help. Jason is obviously affected by the picture and goes to hide it in a box in the closet. Jason goes to the hospital and sees Lucky and Elizabeth together. He goes back to his office and sits in the dark to think. Spinelli comes in and tells him he should rethink his decision to not be a part of his baby's life. He tells him that he thinks of Jason as the older brother he never had and it tears him up to see Jason hurting. Jason would be the best dad and the child would miss out on a lot. The child would eventually find out and would be devastated. 

On their way to the Metro Court restaurant to meet their respective partners, Lucky and Sam got trapped in an elevator. They started talking about Jason and Liz, when Sam asked Lucky if seeing them together "after last summer" ever bothered him. Huh? he thought not knowing that Jason and Liz had slept together. Lucky is puzzled why Sam would think he would blame Jason for last summer? He surprises Sam by saying he is grateful that Jason was there for Liz. Lucky asks why Sam doesn't like Elizabeth? Sam admits to Lucky that she was jealous of Elizabeth. She always wanted a family with Jason, but she now knows that a baby doesn't solve every problem. While waiting for Sam and Lucky, Elizabeth and Jason talk in the lobby. She asks Jason not to destroy her family with Lucky by divulging the baby's true paternity. He tells her that sending him pictures of the UltraSound, etc. is well-meaning, it is only a reminder of what he will not have. 

Elizabeth and Lucky show up at Kelly's and Jason tries to hide his reaction to seeing Elizabeth carrying his baby. Elizabeth and Lucky approach them and comment about the press outside. Sam feels overwhelmed by the press and wishes they would leave Jason and her alone with their accusations. Elizabeth tells Sam that she will be a perfect host for the show because she is an everyday hero herself and helped her in the hotel during the hostage crisis. Sam thanks her for her kind words. Sam heads off for the hotel to meet with Amelia. Later, Lucky comes by GH to check up on Elizabeth. Elizabeth starts having contractions and doubles over. Lucky calls out for help. 

Alcazar meets with one of his men and makes final plans to have Sonny and Jason are ambushed at their new meeting place, "The Cellar", located under Kelly's Diner and arranges for his men to cover all exits so they can shoot and kill both of them without them being able to get out of there alive. Later at The Cellar a music montage begins as Jason and Sonny suddenly had to dodge a barrage of bullets as shooters targeted the Cellar. Jason and Sonny take their weapons out and start firing back at Alcazar's men. Upstairs, Logan and Cooper hear the gunfire and they grab Lulu and Maxie and pull them down to the ground to protect them, downstairs, Jason did this cool maneuver where he slithered across the floor under tables to get away, Cooper and Logan take their guns out also and decide to get involved, long sequence of gunshots as the assassins try to take Sonny and Jason out, and the fire back.
