Elizabeth is sitting by the window in her studio holding the book about Egypt that Jason left behind when he left PC. She smiles and a montage begins. She flashes back to their first meeting at Jakes. She says "Do you know what nothing feels like?" Jason replies "Yeah that's pretty much where I live." Jason taking her for her first motorcycle ride..... Elizabeth showing him her painting of the wind.... Elizabeth learning to steer Jason's bike.... the night she asked Jason to dance with her at Kelly's.... finding Jason lying in the snow after he had been shot.... taking care of him at her studio feeding him soup.... spending Christmas together decorating a little tree with a paper chain and an angel topper... exchanging trivia about Africa as she spins a globe she bought for Jason to give to Michael.... Elizabeth giving Jason a Christmas gift and a kiss on the cheek.... Jason geting ready to leave the studio and gives her the keys back.... She asks if he knows where he's going and he says he'll figure it out on the way. She thanks him for the leather jacket he gave her for Christmas. He replies "Thank you for saving my life." and leaves the studio.... saying goodbye to her on the docks, "You're not losing me, I'm just going away, he kisses her on the forehead and whispers "Goodbye." End of Montage. Elizabeth smiles at the memories and shuts the window.

AJ and Luke on the docks, Luke goads AJ about "dumping Carly's body in the lake and "dummying the DNA test." He rips into AJ about hurting Bobbie by letting her believe her daughter was dead. We see a shot of a man's jean clad legs wearing black boots listening in the background. AJ claims Luke has nothing but "accusations" and that he is no more afraid of Luke then he is of Sonny Luke punches AJ. Laura runs on to the scene and breaks up the fight. Another shot of the man in blue jeans watching in the background. Luke is not finished with AJ but Laura convinces Luke to leave though not before he warns AJ never to hurt Bobbie again. Laura says she was able to stop Luke this time but next time he might not be so lucky. Laura says she understands the pain of a mother losing a child, she's been through it and watched Bobbie go through it twice. What AJ did ruins lives. AJ claims "If" he did anything, he did it to get Michael back. Laura promises Michael will come to him one day when he's older but AJ should make himself into someone Michael can be proud of and stop using an innocent child. AJ is defensive accusing that maybe some people can walk away from their children but he can't. Laura can't talk him out of anything but if he hurts Bobbie again, Luke will come after him and she won't be able to stop him.

Laura leaves, AJ sits down on the bench. The man in jeans emerges, Jason is revealed! AJ asks where he has been since it's been a year since Jason was back. Jason says AJ "still has a big mouth." AJ wants to know why Jason is back and they exchange insults. AJ insists Jason must be back for "Carly's resurrection." AJ tries to backtrack saying that his love and marriage to Sonny's sister has made him a changed man. Jason doesn't buy it. Jason says he's staying in town, he doesn't care about AJ's life. AJ says he tried to make peace with Sonny and Sonny tried to kill him on his wedding night. Jason says "You used to tell a lot of lies and now you tell even more." AJ accuses Jason of being Sonny's flunkie. Jason warns AJ to stay away from Bobbie, Carly and Michael, he says if AJ doesn't stop himself Jason will stop him. AJ leaves. Jason gets a call on his cell. It's a bartender who says someone recognized a photo of Carly that Jason left at the bar. Jason goes to the PH to see Sonny. Sonny is happy to see Jason he says it took Benny a long time to track him down. Jason says he would have gotten there sooner if he knew. Sonny says Carly is upstairs. Did Jason find AJ? Jason tells Sonny what he overheard on the docks and about his run in with AJ. Jason and Sonny agree AJ deserves to hurt for what he did. Sonny asks Jason to check up on Carly and where she was when he was missing. Jason says he already has a lead. Carly comes downstairs thrilled to see Jason and she shares in the reunion with him.

Jason shows up at Jax's place to see Skye. Skye picks up a crowbar. Jason wants to know if Skye helped AJ switch the body? Skye threatens to call the cops Jason tells her to put the phone down and he just stares at her and then tells Skye to give AJ a message....Sonny knows AJ switched bodies hurting many people, it needs to stop. Jax returns and informs Skye that Jason is her brother. Skye tries to bond with Jason but he knows she is responsible for blackmailing Emily and tricking Emily and Zander into getting on the bus that crashed leaving Emily injured. Jason is angry at Skye and tells her to give AJ the message, He leaves.

Elizabeth and Sarah are at Kelly's talking about going on a date with 2 guys they met on the docks that morning. The sisters laugh. Just then Jason walks in and looks at Elizabeth intensely. She looks up and their eyes lock. An intense connection is felt because Sarah comments that Emily's brother is staring at her. Elizabeth goes over and talks to Jason. Their feelings for each other still quite evident. She asks when Jason got back, he says last night and they are glad to see each other. He asks how she is and she says "Ok" but he knows she's covering. She forgot she doesn't have to cover with him. She tells him she ended it with Lucky and he says she's bettor off without Lucky and she agrees. They look at each other longingly. Elizabeth is thrilled he's back she could use a friend. He says he's always her friend. She wonders is he back to do a job for Sonny? Jason has to leave, she apologizes for asking about Sonny she knows he's private about work. She says she's living on her own in the studio and Jason can come by anytime, Jason agrees he will and leaves.

Sarah asks if Elizabeth and Jason had a thing for each other and she explains how they became close after Lucky's "death" She developed feelings for Jason but Jason left and Lucky came back. Everyone assumed she would be with Lucky, Jason came back again and he was easier for her to talk to than Lucky. She thought what she felt for Jason was "attraction and not love" and that Lucky was who she wanted to be with. Sarah wants to know if she wants to start something with Jason now? Elizabeth says it's complicated with Jason she's not looking to start something with anyone now. The Q's speculate about why Jason is back. AJ is upset over the attention the family gives Jason. Jason shows up at the Q's Elizabeth tells Sarah that Lucky and Jason are in the past she wants to concentrate on herself, date other people and have fun and she wants Sarah to be her partner in crime.

Liz meets Sarah outside Kelly's for their double date, Sarah wants to bail and Liz says NO WAY! Jason reunites wit the Q's AJ gets upset and grabs a knife daring Jason to kill him right there. Monica wants to talk to her son. AJ is hurt, "her son" means Jason. Sarah says they need a signal so that if the date goes awry they can bail. Their dates show up and turn out to be dudes who are obsessed with curling. Elizabeth fakes a medical attack and Sarah says the guys need to leave. Freaked out, the guys can't leave fast enough. Elizabeth and Sarah laugh. Monica tells Jason she's sorry about AJ's behavior. She's glad Jason came to the house. He says he cane to see grandmother and admits he wanted to see her too. Mother and son share a touching moment. Monica asks if Sonny sent for him? He says yes, Sonny thought Carly was dead. Jason tells Monica what AJ did with the body and the DNA tests to try to get Michael back. Monica says what he did was wrong but AJ has a right to see his son. Jason says AJ needs to back off. Monica asks for some kind of compromise between Sonny/Carly/AJ? Jason says no and leaves.

Jason meets the bartender who has info about Carly on the docks. Jason figures out Carly's been in hiding. Sarah and Elizabeth take a dating quiz and discover they are both attracted to the same type of man (A man that describes Lucky to a tee). Jason goes to see Carly, he knows she's been lying and faking her death. He tells her she has to tell Sonny everything. Sarah and Lucky talk about Maxie's crush on Lucky. Sarah says there is not much he can do "attraction is about chemistry and doesn't follow the rules of logic" Elizabeth returns with Bobbie and Scott with stuff for Carly's welcome home party that night at Kelly's. Lucky thanks her for coming but she says she came for Bobbie. Lucky offers to leave but Liz says he doesn't need to worry about her feelings they are over now. She tells Lucky Jason is back and is staying for awhile. Lucky starts to protest but Liz says it doesn't concern him anymore.

Jason tells Carly someone saw her the day before her funeral. How long has she been in hiding? Carly says she wanted Sonny to hurt for what he did so she just stayed missing a little longer, she never pretended to be dead. She says Sonny never has to know anything if Jason doesn't tell him. Jason says no and starts to leave Carly asks him to let her explain She was hurt and angry the night her car went over the bluff. She manages to get out of the car and found a cabin...eventually she found a town and went to call Bobbie but saw her picture in the paper. She wanted Sonny to feel guilty for sleeping with Alexis but she didn't plan to come back the day of her funeral. Now she has a second chance with Sonny and asks Jason not to say anything. Sarah overhears the conversation between Lucky and Liz and asks Liz if she still wants Lucky. Liz says part of her will always want Lucky but she has to move on. Jason tells Carly that Sonny already has questions about her disappearance and urges her to tell Sonny the truth.

Sonny shows up at Carly’s house and Jason leaves but not before telling Carly he will tell Sonny the truth if she doesn't. Liz dances with Elton and Sarah while Lucky snaps photos of Sarah. Jason shows up at the party. Bobbie is happy to see him. Jason spots Elizabeth. She is surprised to see him. He says Carly invited him "and I wanted to see you." She smiles. Sarah spills soda on her dress and is upstairs cleaning it off when she runs into Lucky. She says she needs Lucky's help with her zipper. One thing leads to another and they end up in Lucky's room making love. Sonny shows up and asks Jason if he has any leads about where Carly was when she was missing? Liz asks Maxie if anything is wrong and she complains about her mother and her sister, Liz tells her to give it time and her sister could become her best friend, Maxie is shocked Liz would say that since Sarah is upstairs right now in bed with Lucky. Liz discovers Lucky and Sarah in the afterglow of love making and she is livid claiming they deserve each other. Jason is downstairs telling Carly to tell Sonny the truth or he will. Sonny interrupts. Lucky and Sarah try to explain but Elizabeth is too hurt and angry, "You both are nothing to me!" she says and walks out. Carly lies about why she ran out of the party she leaves to talk to Bobbie and Sonny asks Jason to check on Carly's story again. Sonny and Carly leave. Maxie talks to a shaken Liz, breaks a cup and asks Bobbie if she can leave. She runs into Jason at the door and asks "Can we go somewhere? He can tell she's upset.

At her studio, Elizabeth is furious. she throws one of her paintings and clears off a table. Jason holds up a canvas asking her to rip it up. She voices her anger over Lucky and Sarah blaming herself for being an idiot. Jason says she's not an idiot she wanted to believe them. She wonders why she didn't listen to Jason and instead signed her life over to Lucky? She can't believe Lucky and Sarah slept together. She wishes she went away with Jason a long time ago. Jason asks what she wants and she replies "I want you" Jason and Elizabeth finally share their first kiss!

The kiss becomes deep and passionate and leads to much more. Sadly Elizabeth puts on the brakes. She is embarrassed and apologizes profusely. Jason says she's done nothing wrong they both know what's happening, no one is lying. She says it's unfair to throw herself at him and then stop, she doesn't want to ruin what she and Jason have because she's angry with Lucky. She cares about Jason and if they made love she would want it to mean something more. Jason says its ok but she can always "change her mind again (Whew is it hot in here? lol) Jason touches her hair and says he understands . Elizabeth is touched by his grace in this situation. She sits on the couch and he crouches beside her. He asks if she is going to stay? She's probably going to paint all night. He asks if she's ok with everything and she says yes. She asks does he remember the Christmas they spent together, decorating the tree? That was one of her "favorite times ever." She wasn't pretending to be happy she just was. He says he can stay if she wants, she says painting will clear her head. He asks does she still have the painting of the wind? She says yes but it isn't right and he says "Yeah but it's mine!" She says "If you want it?" He kisses her on the forehead and turns to leave. She asks if he ever thinks about what would have happened if she had left with him? He says No because she didn't. She says she's really glad he's back, he leaves. Next morning on the docks Elizabeth is stretching, Jason approaches looking at her from behind for a long moment.

She senses someone and turns, "Are you spying on me?" He's going to Kelly's for coffee. She wonders was he out all night? He says he went riding. Did she paint? She says "I spent most of the night thinking about you." She says she's not sorry only a bit embarrassed about last night because they finally kissed but it was the wring reasons. Jason is not complaining. She says maybe he should, sometimes he makes it easy for people to take advantages of him. She did the last time he was home always coming to him about Lucky and she doesn't want to do that ever again. Jason says if he feels like he's being jerked around he will tell her and not to worry. They confirm that they are friends and she asks him that if she dwells on the past he has to tell her to snap out of it. He agrees. She admires him for not caring what people think of him but he corrects her saying "I care what some people think" Jason leaves to meet Sonny. Carly shows up demanding Elizabeth tell her where Jason is. The women goad each other about their respective relationships to Jason. Carly becomes agitated and grabs Liz. Zander interjects and defends Elizabeth. Liz tells Carly Jason went to Sonny's. Jason and Sonny talk about Carly Sonny says they are together again and may want another child. Liz thanks Zander for the help but she says she didn't need it. Zander asks about Carly and Jason's relationship and Liz says she doesn't understand it. Carly uses Jason and he lets her. Liz and Zander bond over lies destroying their lives. Jason and Sonny talk business. Jason says he's staying in town, he misses PC and the people that are most important to him. Jason asks about the coffee warehouse and Sonny says it's making a lot of money for a "legit" business. Sonny leaves. Carly returns and Jason tells her Sonny is with Alexis on business. Jason says he didn't tell Sonny everything about her disappearance. Carly thanks him and they hug. Zander arrives in time to witness this and bursts in accusing Carly and Jason of cheating behind Sonny's back. An argument ensues. Sonny comes back and is pissed, he wants to know what's going on? Zander claims Carly and Jason are sleeping together. Jason and Carly say no. Sonny fires Zander and he storms off.

Carly defends Zander but Jason and Sonny agree he needed to be gone. Carly leaves later Jason follows her and finds Carly and Zander fighting He overhears Zander talking about possibly working against Sonny. Jason and Zander fight about Emily. Zander leaves. Carly starts talking about Sonny and Alexis but Jason doesn't want to hear it. Sarah tries to make nice with Elizabeth but Elizabeth gives her the brush off. Outside Kelly’s Rosco tries to apologize to Elizabeth about the incident last summer. Zander sees this and jumps to her defense. Rosco pays Liz and backs off. She tells Zander she doesn't need rescuing. Jason overhears Rosco on the phone talking to someone about making a move against Sonny. Elizabeth will pay no attention to Sarah's attempts at peacemaking. She apologizes to Zander for snapping at him and explains she just found out last night about Sarah and Lucky's betrayal. Jason tells Sonny what he overheard from Rosco. Rosco approaches Zander on the docks and offers him ten thousand dollars for info on Sonny's holding companies. It's Courtney's first day of work at Kelly's and Liz shows her around.

Jason arrives on the docks to see the money exchange hands between Rosco and Zander. Zander reveals the names of 3 holding companies. Zander comes back to Kelly's, cash in hand and wants to take Liz out on the town. Liz is suspicious, that amount of money can't have come from something good and she declines his invitation. Jason reports to Sonny about Zander’s betrayal. Sonny wants Jason to take care of Zander and make sure this doesn't happen again. Jason finds Zander on the docks and warns him not to betray Sonny again, they know about the deal with Rosco. Zander blows up and starts to shove Jason. When Zander refuses to listen Jason punches him. Jason says Sonny is loyal and Sonny is alive because of it. Jason leaves Zander lying behind the bench. He starts to leave and Elizabeth calls after him asking if he is going for a ride? He says not now he has things to do. Can she take a rain check? He agrees and leaves. Liz hears a noise, Zander groans, she rushes over and says she'll call 911. As she leaves she remembers Jason had just left the scene. Liz goes to the hospital with Zander. Jason comes to Carly's house for dinner.

Sonny shows up and asks for an update on Zander. Carly overhears part of the conversation about Zander and questions them about him. Michael runs downstairs and into Sonny's arms. Jason is touched to see him again. Sonny asks Michael does he remember Jason? Jason says he's gotten big and that he thought of him a lot while he was gone. Liz waits at GH. Ned asks Liz why she didn't call the police and she says Zander said not to. Tony says he's had a professional beating. Zander insists no police report they suggest calling Sonny but Zander says no. Liz asks Zander if Jason beat him and Zander says he fell. She doesn't buy it. Taggart interrupts dinner at Carly's house with news of Zander in the hospital. Zander refuses to ID Jason and Liz leaves. She runs into Lucky on the docks and he notices she's edgy. Taggart suspects Jason beat Zander. Sonny threatens to sue. Taggart promises to get a statement out of Zander and leaves. Liz and lucky talk, it is very tense they agree their relationship is over and wish each other well, Lucky leaves.

Elizabeth looks at the spot where she found Zander. Jason says "Elizabeth." She turns around and asks if he is looking for her or returning to the scene of the crime? She asks him to please tell her he didn't beat up Zander? He say to ask Zander what happened she says she did. She said she didn't believe him when Lucky attacked him and now she knows the truth about that. She doesn't want to make the same mistake again and she'll believe whatever he tells her this time. Jason asks if she can leave this alone? She says no she's the one who found Zander. Jason is the only one who could have done this and she can deal she just needs him to be honest. She can't take lies from him when everyone else in her life has lied to her. Jason says she needs to make a choice, she has to decide what she wants. She wonders what this has to do with Zander? Jason says she knew the answer to the question before she asked him and he has said all he is going to say about it. She needs to decide if that's enough. He can't tell her things about his life and there are reasons why, if she can't accept that he will understand. Elizabeth says he has always been a good friend, he's always been honest with her and no matter what she doesn't want to lose him so her decision is that she wants him in her life. They share an emotion filled hug on the docks

Carly visits Jason in his room at Jakes. She needs advise about Sonny. Jason says he thinks it's best to always tell Sonny the truth, he'll find out anyway in the end. Carly takes his advice and is ecstatic with the result, she thanks Jason and Sonny talk about Alexis at the PH. Sonny is worried about her and leaves to check on her. Carly goes into too much detail about her fertility treatment plans Jason doesn't want to listen. Elizabeth runs into Lucky at the hospital he is jealous of the attention she's giving Zander. She offers to let Zander stay at the studio and he accepts. Liz and Zander are at the studio when Jason stops by, he wants to speak to her alone. He tells her that Zander is more trouble than she needs. She gets defensive asking when he started judging people? He says Zander is dangerous reminding her of what happened with Sorel and Emily. Jason looks concerned while Liz says she's tired of people telling her what to do and say, she doesn't have to explain herself to anyone. Jason wonders if this is about Lucky and Sarah? "My life is not about Lucky" she says Zander needs a friend. He says she saw Zander’s stupid choices with Emily> Jason says he can't stop her from having Zander in her life but he wishes she wouldn't. Liz knows Jason is trying to help. He asks if she wants to go for a ride? Zander interrupts and she declines. Jason tells Zander to stay out of his face and to do nothing to hurt Elizabeth. Elizabeth changes Zander's bandage, she hears Jason's bike and looks out the window and the two exchange longing glances. He rides off. Musical montage to Chris Isaac song.

Courtney has trouble at Kelly’s and Jason assists, she mistakes his kindness for flirtation AJ sees them together and freaks telling her Jason is the brother he hates. Jason leaves. At Club 101 Jason overhears Edward making demands to Carly about Michael. When Edward leaves Jason can tell something is wrong with Carly, she tells him she can't conceive, Jason comforts her and they talk. He urges her to tell Sonny. Jax shows up and Jason tells Carly going into business with Jax was a mistake. Jason runs into Courtney at the club, he tells Carly to let Courtney and AJ stay out of respect for Sonny. AJ insists on leaving. Next day Zander is at Kelly’s talking to a guy about "scoring" something. Elizabeth sees them and is concerned. She tries to warn Zander to stay out of trouble. Jason and Benny on the docks. Benny gives Jason a cheque for $100,000 to "pay off an old debt" Jason is sitting outside Kelly's looking at the check, Elizabeth jokes that he won the lotto. Jason says the money is for the aids charities at GH, today is the day of compassion.

Jason says it's ok "It always is with you" she says smiling. Later that day she is on the docks. Jason comes up behind her. He asks how long she's been waiting? She says that while he was gone every time she heard a motorcycle there was a split second where she would think it was him so the real answer is, she's been waiting since he left. Jason wants to make sure she knows he wasn't trying to tell her what to do about Zander. She says Zander was about proving a point to Lucky and Sarah. Jason says Elizabeth can come riding with him anytime. She's sorry about the way she treated him. He says "What way?" She teases him for pretending their fight never happened. He says he never pretends, he can't, they smile at each other. She says some people can't let go that easily, she's worried about Zander. Meanwhile Zander meets with a guy in an alley it looks like trouble, Jason says Zander is not her problem, she explains helping Zander makes her feel like if she can help him she can fix her own life too. He asks her to come for a ride? She passes this time it feels strange riding when any other year they'd be at the nurse's ball. They talk about the nurse's ball. Elizabeth helps Jason understand that the Nurses Ball helps people who need to be reminded that aids touches us all and they have to face it at least one day a year. Jason says it makes sense when she explains it. Jason leaves and runs into AJ on the docks. AJ releases his anger on Jason. He says Jason doesn't understand what it's like to love someone so much that you will lie cheat and steal. Zander calls Elizabeth. Elizabeth sees Jason talking to Jason on the docks. Jason offers to listen to her as she is upset. Courtney decides to leave. Elizabeth approaches obviously jealous and Jason picks up on it, they flirt. Benny comes and tells Jason that Rosco could retaliate. Jason is worried about Elizabeth's safety and rushes her back to her studio.

Jason tells Elizabeth she has to stay away from him until further notice. Elizabeth flirts with him saying it won't be a problem, telling him to get over himself. She wonders if Zander is involved? Jason says to stay away from Zander too. She teases him about trying to dictate who she sees. Jason pulls her into an embrace warning her gently not to do anything stupid. She says he doesn't have to worry about her and he says "Yes I do" quite an intense moment between the two. Jason leaves. Elizabeth begins painting and some men burst in her door and grab Elizabeth calling her "Morgan's girlfriend." Zander arrives looking for Elizabeth and he hears her screaming. He watches as the men shove her into a car and drive away. Zander goes to tell Jason that Elizabeth has been kidnapped. Jason is furious and rushes off as Zander follows. Jason and Zander argue over the best strategy to finding Elizabeth. Jason tells Zander he needs to stay out of the way. Elizabeth is alone in the dark she lights a match and discovers she's been locked in a crypt. Jason heads to the pier. Elizabeth is running out of matches, the door opens and a man enters. She wants to know what he wants. She says people will be looking for her. The man says he hopes Jason Morgan is looking for her. She says he doesn't want trouble from Jason. He says she better do what he says. On the pier the phone rings. Jason answers its Elizabeth, the kidnapper is forcing her to call, Jason asks if she is alright? She's ok, she yells that it's a trap they made her call. The man grabs the phone and runs out. Jason calls out "Elizabeth."

The man says next time follow instructions and maybe she will live, he'll call back in an hour. Jason asks what he wants but he hangs up. Zander shows up, Jason is mad he told him to stay away. Zander says he will make Jason pay for getting him kicked out of Sonny's organization. The man comes into the crypt again, he is mad at Elizabeth's escape attempts. Elizabeth comes off very tough, Jason and Sonny will find her. She tells him to go to hell. Jason says he doesn't have time to deal with this. Zander stages a fight to make it look like he has turned against Sonny. Jason says this strategy won't work and tells Zander to stop but he doesn't, they fight and Taggart arrests them. At the PCPD Zander tells Taggart that he threw the first punch. Jason tells Zander he needs to get back to the pay phone. Elizabeth calls for help in the crypt. On the docks the pay phone rings. Mac wants to hold Zander and Jason for 24 hours. The pay phone keeps ringing. Jason calls Sonny to come and get him.

Zander demands for his lawyer making Taggart suspicious why he wants to be released so badly. The man visits Elizabeth, she fakes being sick and tries to escape. He takes the batteries from the lantern and tells her that Jason didn't answer the last phone call and leaves. Sonny is at the PCPD. Zander asks of Jason missed the last phone call? Jason tells him to shut up. Taggert smells a mob war. Elizabeth's lantern burns out, she starts to pull something out of the wall. Jason and Zander are released they go to the PH. Sonny is pissed at Zander’s fight stunt. Jason worries about Elizabeth. Sonny asks if Jason has any details about where she is and he says no. Elizabeth has pried open one of the crypts revealing a dead body inside she screams. Sonny says Elizabeth is being used as leverage Zander leaves and tries to find info about Liz from some of his old connections but he only finds more trouble for himself when he is knocked unconscious. The man opens the crypt again, Elizabeth tries to run out but he stops her. She begs him to let her go and he throws the batteries at her. Jason shows up at the payphone, the man calls demanding info on Sonny in exchange for Elizabeth. She screams into the phone the word crypt but Jason can't make it out. The man locks Elizabeth inside again. Jason is at Sonny's to give Sonny an update.

Felicia shows up asking questions about Sonny's involvement with Roy. Jason wonders if Roy knows anything about where Elizabeth is. The man drags Zander into the crypt with Elizabeth. Jason stops at a bar and talks to men connected with Rosco. Zander wakes up and talks with Liz and they conceal the opened crypt. Zander says Jason has no leads so far. Some of Roscoe’s men show up at the bar and Jason demands to know where Elizabeth is. Zander fakes his death Elizabeth screams and the man comes but their escape tactic fails. At the bar Roscoe’s man pulls a gun, Jason gets him in a choke hold another man (crypt man whose name is Hayes) takes a shot at Jason. Jason fires back and doesn't miss. Jason rushes to Hayes who is fading fast, Jason wants to know where Elizabeth is. Hayes says "ELQ, you'll never figure it out!" Hayes dies. Jason calls Benny to run a check on all of ELQ's real Estate, the police arrive and arrest Jason. Capenelli interrogates Jason but he says nothing. Sonny and Alexis show up. Jason and Sonny talk, Jason is worried hell never find Liz. Jason tells Taggart Hayes was shot in self defense. Jason isn't charged and he leaves to see Edward.

Elizabeth and Zander talk about their lives and comfort each other. Elizabeth says she thinks Hayes is dead because he hasn't come back in a long time. Jason wants information from Edward on ELQ property. Edward blackmails Jason into coming to the house for dinner in exchange for the list. Zander says Jason and Sonny are looking for them. Elizabeth and Zander try to focus on what life will be like when they escape the crypt. Jason sees Courtney on the docks and asks her to get a message to AJ. Jason tries to pay her for getting a list of ELQ property from AJ. AJ overhears and refuses flat. Lucky approaches Jason on the docks, Jason doesn't know it's him and grabs him. Lucky is looking for Liz and demands to know where she is. Lucky tries to start a fight but Jason heads over to the Quartermaine house. Jason says hello to Lila who has figured out Edward blackmailed him into coming for dinner, she apologizes and leaves. AJ gets angry at Jason while Monica and Alan defend Jason. AJ is furious that Jason is always the golden child and he calls Jason a killer. Jason says he doesn't have time for games he needs the list and rips it away from Edward and leaves. Jason goes to see Taggart who has pulled Hayes cell phone records and knows something is up. Taggert knows Jason is looking for Elizabeth and he offers to help because he has a soft spot for Elizabeth. Elizabeth and Zander bond in the crypt. Jason gives Sonny an update on the search and what went down with Hayes.

Jason is frustrated and suggests they work with Taggert to find Elizabeth. Sonny doesn't like the idea, he says "Elizabeth means that much to you?" and Jason says "Yeah I guess she does." Taggert shows up and Jason tells him everything he knows about Hayes and why he shot him. Jason tells him about ELQ and gives him a list of properties. Taggert notices how important Elizabeth is to Jason. Taggart says that with search warrants he can get into the missing properties, Jason says that if Elizabeth is found Sonny might drop the charges against him. Elizabeth and Zander continue to bond, she discovers Zander Smith might not be his real name. Jason tells Carly that Elizabeth is missing. She is surprised at how upset Jason is over this. He figures out that ELQ might not be the company, maybe someone’s initials? While trying to comfort each other, Elizabeth and Zander kiss.

Taggart comes to the PH. Carly is angry and thinks Taggart is trying to use this situation to get to Sonny. Jason tells Taggart to run a check on anyone with the initials ELQ. Taggart tries to grill Jason about Hays and Jason tells him to go to hell. Elizabeth and Zander's kissing starts to lead to more, but the lantern begins to flicker and he goes to check on it. Liz notices a crack in the wall and Zander thinks it's an exterior wall. They pry it open thinking they have found a water pipe but when they break the pipe they discover a gas line. Taggart gets no info from Jason on Sonny. Jason leaves to meet Benny. Benny found info on old mob family from the 50's the "Quinnson" family who are buried in an old crypt. Elizabeth passes out from the gas and Zander moves her close to the door before he passes out himself. Jason heads to St. Anne’s cemetery. When he gets there, the outside gate is locked and he tries to pick the lock. A guard approaches threatening to have Jason arrested. Jason explains that a girl has been trapped inside for days but he won't listen Jason finally punches the guard and takes his keys. He gets the gate open but the crypt is locked. He screams Elizabeth's name franticly. He is about to shoot the door open but suspects there is a gas line, Sonny arrives and calls 911.

Jason finally bursts through the door and takes Elizabeth in his arms. Taking her outside he is relieved she has a pulse. He is frantic, another minute and she would have died. He pleads with her to "breathe for me" She starts to come to and recognizes Jason and is worried about Zander. She says he's inside. Sonny goes to get Zander but the crypt explodes launching him to the ground. Jason uses his body to shelter Elizabeth from the debris. She is ok but she's worried about Zander. Jason checks on Sonny who is alive. Jason says Zander is alive but can't be moved yet. The paramedics arrive and Taggart questions Elizabeth. All she knows is she was kidnapped from her studio, Jason tells Taggart to back off and takes Elizabeth to see Zander. He is visibly affected by her concern for Zander. At the hospital, Jason and Elizabeth talk. She thanks him for saving her life, she knew he would come. He is so sorry. She thought she was gonna die but when she saw his face she knew she would be ok. She says she needs to tell him something but Tony interrupts saying she can see Zander now. Jason takes her into his room and leaves her alone. Zander wakes up and she thanks him. Jason is again affected by her concern for Zander.

Jason comes to visit her in the hospital the next day. They exchange longing looks, He says she got a lot of flowers. He asks if she's ok? He asks what's wrong he knows something is wrong. She's been having nightmares about the crypt. Jason says he's not an expert but dreams aren't real and the crypt is still on her mind so it makes sense. He offers to get rid of the flowers if they are reminding her of the dreams. He leans in to move them and they are close enough to kiss. They both obviously feel something but he pulls back. She says acknowledging the drams helped. Jason nervously pulls a postcard of Italy from his pocket and gives it to her. He says it reminded him of her and her painting. She says it's beautiful, why didn't he send it? He says he wanted to give it to her in person because he wasn't sure if she would still want a postcard from him. She says having a connection with him is something she never stopped wanting even if it was selfish of her. He says maybe she might not want one now since she almost died because of him. She says that knowing him is a stupid reason to have to die but she held on as long as she did because of him. She knew he wouldn't stop until he found her and her faith in him was "unshakeable and justified." Jason still worries and she says if he's trying to say they can't be friends anymore he's got another thing coming! She asks him playfully if he doesn't like her anymore? He is flustered and says he likes her. She says she likes him too but the energy of "more than friends" is in the room. They flirt and Jason says "I love it when you get fired up I should make you mad more often."

As Jason starts to leave she takes his hand, Sarah interrupts because Liz needs to have tests done. Elizabeth thanks him for saving her life. He leaves and Liz takes the postcard with her to get her tests done. Jason goes to see Sonny and they talk about Carly. Sonny fears losing another baby. They talk business, Ned brings Alexis's keys by. Sonny gives Jason the keys saying thee PH is his. Sarah and Liz fight over Jason and Lucky. Lucky stops by with flowers for Liz but she doesn't accept them. She looks longingly at Jason's postcard. Audrey warns Liz to be careful with Zander and Jason. Benny visits Jason with news that Roy bought pier 52. Jason thinks someone else fronted the money probably the same people that took Elizabeth. Jason confronts Roy about the pier. Roy says he and Felicia are partners in the deal. Jason asks Alexis to check into Roy's story. Jason discovers by accident that Alexis is pregnant and tells Sonny. Alexis finds out Roy paid cash for the pier.

Jason gives Roy a message from Sonny. Sonny wants to buy pier 52 but Roy and Felicia won't sell. Jason wants to know where Roy got 2 million dollars to buy the pier? Felicia says she inherited the money but Jason doesn't buy it. Jason says Roy is trying to go after Sonny. Sonny tells Jason he's not the father of Alexis's baby but Ned is. Jason takes Elizabeth home from the hospital. Jason has replaced the door at her studio with a much more secure one with new locks. She sees the door and flashed back to being locked in the crypt. Jason says he can get rid of the door if she doesn't want it but she is glad he did it. He gives her the keys and they enter. She has another flashback. He says they can leave if she's not ready. She says she's fine. Zander walks in. He bought her a night light so she won't be alone in the dark. She thanks him. Jason looks jealous. He says he needs to speak with Zander alone. Zander says he can talk in front of Elizabeth. Elizabeth convinces Zander to go speak with Jason. Jason asks if she will be ok for a few minutes? He tells her to make sure and lock the door.

Jason tells Zander that Roy bought Pier 52 and that the kidnappers wanted the same property. He asks Zander to give him names of Roscoe’s men, they might try to come after Elizabeth again. Zander says it's Jason's fault Elizabeth is in danger and he is not going to help him. Elizabeth is making sure the door is locked when she hears a noise and is edgy. Zander meets Roy on the docks Zander wants to work for him, he's interested in getting back at Sonny. Roy is not sure he can trust Zander, he needs to think it over. Elizabeth hears footsteps and is terrified, the door rattles and she grabs her artist knife. Jason tries to warn Felicia about Roy and she hits him. Elizabeth is scared a voice asks for "Marsh" and she says they've got the wrong place and to go up a floor.

Jason comes back to the studio and Elizabeth pulls him in by the arm telling him what happened and how afraid she was. He says he has men guarding her but maybe she shouldn't be alone. Elizabeth says she won't run, she doesn't want to give fear that power over her. Jason offers her a gun for protection but she says no. If she had the gun a minute ago she might have shot the guy at the door, she doesn't want to take that chance. She asks if he is ever afraid of pulling his gun and shooting by mistake? He says he never goes for a gun out of fear or anger. Jason worries about her, she says she got through the rape and she will get through this. The fear will fade, she just has to wait it out. Jason asks what about knowing she can protect herself? She says no one can get through her new door and she has her "trusty artists knife." He tells her that won't work and asks her to pretend she is coming at him with the knife like an intruder. He tells her to come after him again and she does, he grabs her with ease and they laugh and flirt. He says she needs something better for protection. "Come with me, trust me" he says and she says no problem and they leave holding hands.

They return and Elizabeth is smiling, she says he gives the most original gifts (postcard, red glass and now a bat). Jason gives Elizabeth self defense lessons. She is small so she'll have the "most leverage if she goes for the knee cap." It gets a little steamy as he shows her how to use the bat, they laugh and flirt like crazy. They almost kiss but Jason's phone rings. Carly needs him, he asks if Elizabeth will be ok? She says yes but you can tell she doesn't want him to go, he says he'll be back to check on her later and leaves.

Zander comes to the studio soaking wet and proceeds to remove his shirt. Liz is surprised and throws him a towel, she's glad she doesn't have to be alone. Jason comforts Carly as she cries all night over Sonny, when Bobbi comes over the next morning he leaves. Sonny and Jason talk about Pier 52 and Roy speculating on who could have fronted the money. Sonny wants to buy club 101 as a peace offering to Carly. Jason goes to Jax but Jax refuses to sell at any price because he promised the club to Skye. Audrey wants Elizabeth to give Sarah another chance because Sarah is going back to Europe. Elizabeth promises to think about it. Audrey issues another warning about Jason and Zander. Elizabeth begins to paint as ia storm is brewing outside. Jason tells Sonny Jax didn't finance the pier and he won't sell the club either. Sonny and Jason talk about Carly and Elizabeth. Sonny says he should tell Elizabeth what he feels for her because sometimes if you don't speak up you miss your chance. Carly wants Sonny to take Michael for the night, she is planning to seduce Jason to make Sonny jealous. Sonny figures out her plan and has a plan of his own. Elizabeth is alone in the studio, the power goes out she grabs a flash light, she's scared and gets locked in the stairwell. Sonny tells Jason to go to Elizabeth. Zander shows up and manages to get Elizabeth out of the stairwell. She is spooked, She and Zander talk she asks him not to go and they kiss. Jason sees them kissing from the doorway and he's very hurt so he leaves on his bike. Elizabeth and Zander sleep together.

Jason meets with one of Sonny's men on the docks and assures him that the problem with the pier will be resolved. Jason arrives at Roy's and picks his lock. He searches his place until he finds a brief case filled with money. Elizabeth is sleeping, Zander starts to get dressed and leave. Jason calls sonny and arranges a meeting on the elm street pier. Elizabeth wakes up. It's a bit awkward with Zander but she asks him to stay over. Jason tells Sonny about the brief case of cash at Roy's. Roy tells a mystery man to give his boss a message. He refuses. Felicia shows up and Roy makes up a story that the mystery man is an insurance agent that will help them protect their investment since there is a fire on the pier. Roy demands to meet Sonny at the Oasis. Felicia is looking around Roy's apartment. Jason picks the lock again and Felicia hides in the closet. Jason finds her and shows her the hidden money. He questions her about Roy and warns her to watch herself. Jason and Sonny talk on the docks. Alcazar is shown on his yacht (we see the arm of a mystery woman and Sonny and Brenda's theme music plays).

Sonny is show alone on the docks looking out on the water. Next morning at the studio. Elizabeth wakes up, her face has a doubtful expression. Zander says he doesn't regret last night. She doesn't say anything. Jason knocks at the door, she answers but tries to conceal Zander from his view. Jason tells her about the fire on the pier. Zander overhears and chooses to throw the fact that he spent the night with Elizabeth in Jason's face. Jason grabs Zander and warns them both that they are in danger. Jason leaves and Elizabeth is very upset. She accuses Zander of sleeping with her to get back at Jason. Jason and Carly meet on the docks, Sonny has been arrested because of Carly's restraining order. Elizabeth defends Jason to Zander, she is furious that Zander flaunted the sex in Jason's face. Zander says Elizabeth was only with him because Jason wasn't there and Jason is the man she really wants. Alexis and Carly argue at the PCPD. Sonny is released. Elizabeth she doesn't know what she wants from anyone right now. She likes Zander but doesn't understand him, he doesn't think before he speaks. Zander says he didn't sleep with her because of Jason. Elizabeth says she doesn't know what is going to happen next. Zander leaves.

Jason is on the docks, Elizabeth wants to talk to him. She tries to explain what happened with Zander. She says she didn't plan this, Zander was there when the power went out and she freaked. She cares about Zander but she cares about Jason too. She says they have a special connection and she could always tell exactly what he was thinking. Now she says his eyes are cold and he is looking at her like he does with everyone else. Jason says "things change" Elizabeth looks like she is about to cry and Jason leaves. Zander comes to the studio she wants him to stay out of the pier 52 business. Roy calls Zander and wants to meet him, Roy has moved into a PH. Elizabeth does a sketch of a woman for Luke and Laura. Zander is at Sonny's warehouse. One of Sonny's men leaves a bag of money in hidden in the warehouse. Zander steals it and hides it at the studio.

Elizabeth finds out the police are at Sonny's warehouse and thinks Zander is responsible. Taggart threatens Jason, Elizabeth warns Zander to drop this and she leaves when Roy comes to see Zander. Zander doesn't tell Roy about the money he stole. Jason and Sonny on the docks talking about the warehouse. Jason says whoever took the money it is someone they know. Roy and Jason exchange threats. Elizabeth needs to talk to Jason. Zander breaks in to Jason's PH and steals his jacket. Jason tries to avoid talking to Elizabeth. They go back to Jason's PH and Zander sees them together and leaves before they see him. Elizabeth tries to apologize for hurting him she still cares about Jason so much. Elizabeth asks Jason not to hurt Zander, he is a good person who makes bad choices. Jason's phone rings. Elizabeth says if there is anything left between them he won't hurt Zander. He says she has to leave. Roy meets with Alcazar. Roy wants to know his history with Sonny, Alcazar dodges his questions but Roy is suspicious. Elizabeth sees Zander on the docks wearing Jason's jacket and talking on the phone. Carly tells Jason she is back with Sonny. Jason says Sonny has been arrested for kidnapping her. Elizabeth is furious for going after Jason. They fight and she said she's scared for him and tries to convince him to stop this. He is mad she keeps defending Jason and throws the jacket off and leaves. She looks longingly at the coat and picks it up. Sonny is released and they talk about the warehouse and the missing cash. Jason thinks Zander is involved.

Elizabeth goes to return Jason's coat. She knocks and he's not home, keys fall out of the coat so she goes in. Jason comes home and she hides in the closet. Jason talks on the phone, Sonny enters and tells Jason someone transferred the money into Jason's account. Elizabeth hears this. Jason and Sonny think it's Zander. Jason hears a noise and opens the closet revealing Elizabeth. He looks disappointed and upset. She explains she is there to return the coat and she would never betray him or set him up. Jason takes her home. Carly notices how upset Jason is over Elizabeth. Elizabeth is at her studio looking at Jason's postcard, doubt is all over her face. Zander comes and apologizes and asks for the jacket back. She says she gave it back to Jason. Elizabeth and Zander argue she says she knows Jason doesn't care about money. Zander says she wants Jason and leaves. Jason comes by obviously hurting. He knows she wants to protect Zander, he hopes Zander will make her. Happy. Jason never wants her to look at him like he's an animal because he has to retaliate against Zander. Tears well up in his eyes as he says he will "leave him alone." She stops him from leaving and says thank you. They both gaze longingly at each other. Zander and Roy argue. Zander comes back to Elizabeth with a gift. She says "I don't want your presents" Zander says he's leaving the payback alone. Sonny orders Jason to take care of Zander. Jason meets Zander on the docks and tells him to leave town with Elizabeth by morning or he will be dead. Zander says Jason wants Elizabeth for himself. Jason says he wants her safe and happy. Elizabeth interrupts and wants to know what's going on? Jason leaves.

Elizabeth and Zander go to the studio, he wants her to go to Florida with him tonight and if she cares about him like she says, she'll come with him. Elizabeth is overwhelmed. She looks at her unfinished painting of Jason's postcard. Jason stops by. She says Zander wants her to leave town. She says she doesn't want to go, she wants to stay with Jason. Does he really want her to leave? He asks her what she wants? If she wants to save Zander she has to go. He starts to leave and she says "This feels so wrong, if I am going anywhere I'd want you to be there too." He tells her to take care of herself. Someone plants a bomb in Sonny's warehouse. Carly tells Alexis Kristina is planning to tell Sonny he's the baby's father. Elizabeth goes to see Sonny in the warehouse and lets it slip Zander is leaving town, she doesn't want to go. She pleads with Sonny to let Zander stay. Sonny asks Elizabeth if she is worried more about giving up Zander or Jason? She says Jason is a very important part of her life and she doesn't want to lose that. Sonny spares Zander and tells her to get Zander to stop working for Roy. She promises she will. Jason thinks Carly is keeping secrets from Sonny. He says he can't keep anything else from Sonny and now he has to tell sonny he disobeyed an order. He doesn't understand how Carly can lie so much. Zander is on the docks waiting for Elizabeth. Jason tells Sonny he spared Zander for Elizabeth. Sonny is upset but he understands and tells Jason he spoke to Elizabeth. Jason thanks Sonny, he did a good thing. Elizabeth meets Zander. Close up as the bomb is about to explode.
