Jason shows up at Ric's house. Carly sees him on the monitor and begs him to find her. Jason gets into the house and no one is there except her. Jason looks around and is about to leave the house when Carly gets upset and tries to get his attention. She takes the metal food tray and smashes it into the monitor. The sparks from the monitor hit the tray she is holding and she gets an electric shock and falls to the floor unconscious. The electricity in the house goes out and this gets Jason's attention. He calls out to Carly but gets no answer. At the penthouse, Courtney reads a story to Michael. Michael starts to remember more about Carly's kidnapping and remembers it was Ric who took her. He tells Courtney what he remembers.

Elizabeth enters the house and points a gun at Jason and threatens to use it if he moves. Elizabeth held her gun at Jason and asked why he was in her house. Jason calmed Elizabeth down and told her that Ric took Carly, though Elizabeth continued to insist that Ric could not have done such a thing. Courtney called Jason to tell him that Michael had said that Ric took Carly. Jason told Elizabeth to be careful and rushed to the penthouse. When Sonny returned, Jason and Courtney told him that Michael had identified Ric as Carly's abductor. Sonny called Mac over and ordered him to arrest Ric. Mac questioned Michael, who told Mac that "Ric took Mommy just like Jason said." Mac told them all that Michael might be repeating what he's heard and doesn't actually remember anything. Sonny insisted that Michael had seen Ric take Carly and threatened to take matters into his own hands if Mac's department didn't act on the information. Mac agreed to investigate Ric but warned Sonny not to act on his own. Desperate, Sonny grabbed some rope and told Jason he needed something Ric cares about that he could trade for Carly.

Ric returned home and was surprised to find the electricity out. Elizabeth jumped out from hiding and told him about Jason's visit. Ric reassured her that he would never hold a woman against her will, especially a pregnant woman. Elizabeth, wanting to believe his words, fell into his arms. Ric panicked when he realized the secret door wouldn't open without power. The power company came to get the power back on. On his way out, the technician told Ric that something major had caused all the fuses to blow. Concerned for Carly, Ric rushed Elizabeth out to her studio, asking her to go there and be safe while he checked out the house. Once alone, Ric rushed into the secret room and found Carly unconscious on the floor. She awoke but was in great pain. Realizing she and the baby could be seriously hurt, Ric picked her up and promised to get her the proper care. Carly awoke in a doctor's office with Ric at her side. Ric told her he would set her free once she saw the doctor. Ric disappeared as the doctor came in to see Carly, but the room was empty. The doctor caught up with Carly in the hallway and immediately recognized her from the newspaper. Her persuaded her to return to the exam room. He told her that she and the baby were fine but needed a shot of vitamins. Carly begged him to call Sonny, and he promised to right after giving her the shot. As Carly passes out she sees Lorenzo's face, when she comes to she is back in the panic room.

Jason tried to talk Sonny out of kidnapping Elizabeth, but a desperate Sonny insisted on doing whatever necessary to get Carly back. Courtney overheard their conversation and confronted Jason. Jason reassured her that Sonny was just upset and would come around before acting out of desperation. Sonny later told Jason that he had changed his mind after Michael asked him why Ric hated Carly. Sonny had told Michael that Ric hated Sonny not Carly, and that he was a monster. The conversation had made Sonny realizing that taking Elizabeth would make him no better than Ric. Sonny told Jason that he needed Jason to stay objective in finding Carly and not assume it was Ric out of hate, but Jason expressed his absolutely certainty that Ric had taken Carly and acted alone in doing so.

Later, Carly reports to Ric that she saw Faith poison the lemonade and reminds Ric of the mysterious way that Faith's grandmother and then the shooter at the Cellar mysteriously died of 'natural causes.' When Ric scoffs at Carly's concerns, Carly proves her point by informing Ric that his household keys are missing. As Ric searches for his keys and realizes that they are missing, Ric sees Elizabeth return home and watches as his wife pours herself a glass of lemonade. Carly urges Ric to open the door and warn Elizabeth not to drink the lemonade, but Ric believes it is all a trick Carly cooked up to escape. Ric theorizes that Carly plans to scream when Ric opens the door and reveals the Panic Room to Elizabeth! As Ric continues to refuse to open the door, Liz drinks from the glass of lemonade. Elizabeth starts to feel weird. She passes out on the floor after holding her chest. Ric opens up the room and goes to her. He checks her pulse and calls 911 and starts to panic. Carly watches from the panic room. At the hospital, Mac finds Ric waiting for news on Elizabeth's condition. He tells him that the toxicology report on Liz shows that she ingested some rare type of poison

Mac comes by Sonny's penthouse to give him an update in what he has found out. He tells him that he questioned Ric about Carly and that he mentioned to him what Michael claims he saw happened and that he says he remembers him taking Carly. Jason worries that Ric will go after Michael now that he knows he is a witness. Mac tells them that he doesn't think that Ric did it and that Elizabeth is his alibi. He also mentions that Faith Roscoe was there and suggested that someone from the five families could have kidnapped Carly. Sonny dismisses that idea and can't believe Mac would take her word on anything. Mac tells him that he didn't necessarily believe her but insists he will continue to investigate and do what he can. Mac leaves. Sonny makes arrangements for Michael and Leticia to go to the island to stay until he finds Carly. Michael doesn't want to go away but Sonny explains that the vacation on the island will help him remember better what happened to his mother. Michael and Leticia leave for the island. Jason insists that Ric took Carly and is holding her somewhere. Sonny isn't quite sure that is the case and wonders if Michael just told them what they wanted to hear as a way to help them. Sonny takes off for a while.

Jason tells Courtney that he knows Ric took her but needs to find proof of it before Sonny will totally believe it and worries that Sonny will focus on other suspects and find out too late that he is wrong. They take a walk in the park. Jason tells her that he believes Michael remembered what happened but that Elizabeth is Ric's alibi which will be hard to shake. Courtney shows up to talk to Elizabeth after Mac does. She is polite to Elizabeth and asks her how she is feeling. She tells her that Faith has been arrested and will pay for what she did to her. Courtney mentions that Michael claims he saw Ric at the church and that he kidnapped Carly. She does tell her that Michael did say he remembered after Jason told him Ric took her. Elizabeth tells her that Michael was wrong and that she was there with Ric the night Carly disappeared and that he goes home to bed with her every night and wakes up with her every morning and that his revenge against Sonny is done now. Courtney asks her if there is even a remote possibility that Ric has Carly and asks her to think with her head and not her heart this time. Elizabeth stays firm on Ric's innocence and points out that Jason is accusing Ric because he hates him and is threatened by him being Sonny's brother and wants to paint him as the bad guy again. Courtney can't deny that there is some truth to that and leaves.

Jason goes to the police station to talk to Sonny. Scott is willing to let him talk to Sonny since Sonny turned himself in to them. Jason is incredulous when Sonny explains to him that he turned himself in to get the police and the Feds in exchange for them to work harder to find Carly. Jason tells him that it was wrong for him to do this and that Ric kidnapped Carly not Alcazar. Sonny doesn't no whether to believe Ric did it or not but starts to doubt that he did and that Michael actually saw Ric or not. Jason also requests to see Faith once he hears from Scott that she was arrested with poisoning Elizabeth's lemonade. Jason questions her about what she knows about Ric and tries to get her to admit that Ric kidnapped Carly. Faith tells him that she doesn't think Ric did it and that he is more concerned with playing the perfect husband to Elizabeth. Jason also doesn't like it when Sonny questions his objectivity concerning Ric. Jason goes back to G.H. and fills Courtney in on what Sonny is planning to do. He doesn't like that she questioned Elizabeth and got no new information. He gets upset a little when Courtney tells him that Ric may not have taken Carly and that it could be someone else like Alcazar. Jason insists that Michael didn't lie about what he saw but Courtney isn't as convinced and mentions that she talked to Cameron earlier and told him about what Michael told them and he agrees that Michael could have made it up thinking he was helping them by telling them what they wanted to hear.

Ric caught Alcazar in the panic room trying cutting off a piece of Carly's hair. Alcazar tells him he plans to make sure that Sonny and the police are sent on a wild goose chase and is using her hair to do it. Alcazar explains to Carly that he holds Sonny responsible for his death and that he must pay. Ric sees Jason heading towards Liz's hospital room. He gets in his face and warns him not to go and interrogate her about Carly's kidnapping and that she has been through enough. Jason grabs Ric and throws him against the wall. He puts him in a choke-hold and orders him to tell him where Carly is being held. Ric denies he has her. Courtney tries to stop him but Jason is too focused on threatening Ric with bodily harm. Jason beat Ric until Garcia pulled a gun on Jason and ordered him to release Ric. Elizabeth ran to Ric's side and yelled at Jason. Ric told Garcia that this was not the first time Jason had attacked him and that he wanted to press charges. Courtney tried to explain that Jason was under a great deal of stress with Carly's disappearance, but Jason was arrested and taken to police headquarters.

An FBI agent comes into the interrogation room to talk to Sonny. They tell Sonny that sending him to prison is a drain on the prison system and that they have more use for him on the outside helping them get Alcazar. They agree to use as much manpower and resources they have to find Carly if he agrees to start a business relationship with Alcazar and that one of their men will work inside Sonny's organization to spy on Alcazar and get the information they need to prosecute Alcazar. Sonny agrees to their new deal. The agent makes a call to someone and tells him to send in Sonny's new partner. Faith walks in and the agent tells Sonny to meet his new partner. Sonny can't believe it is Faith. The FBI agent gave Sonny ten minutes to decide whether to accept their offer to let Faith work undercover as his mistress in exchange for an all-out search for Carly. Sonny called Faith a tramp and refused to work with her. Faith reminded him that he was running out of options, but Sonny insisted that he couldn't trust Faith enough to work with her, even after Faith explained that she had made a deal of her own after poisoning Elizabeth. Sonny told the FBI agent that he was refusing their deal. Sonny turned to leave just as the police were bringing Jason in. Sonny spoke to Ric alone and told him that he believed that Ric had nothing to do with Carly's disappearance. Sonny asked Ric to drop the charges against Jason as a gesture of their truce. In return Sonny promised to make sure that Jason never bothered him again, and Ric agreed. Ric dropped the charges but filed a restraining order against Jason. Jason apologized to Sonny for losing his cool and promised to use more stealth next time. Jason was shocked and confused when Sonny told him there wouldn't be a next time, that Jason was to leave Ric alone. Jason asked Courtney to try and remember anything that Carly might have told her about Ric when he and Carly were friends. Jason was frustrated when he realized that Courtney was convinced of Ric's innocence. Later at the Speak Easy, Courtney and Jason are speechless when Sonny arrives with Faith as his guest for the evening.

Sonny told Jason about the deal he had made with the feds. Jason disapproved of Sonny's plan and insisted that Ric was responsible for Carly's disappearance. Nonetheless Sonny insisted on doing things his way. Courtney told Faith to leave the Speak Easy, but Faith challenged her to ask Sonny if he wanted her to leave. Courtney approached Sonny, who quietly explained that his deal with the feds involved pretending that Faith was his mistress. Scott arrived, and Sonny quickly asked Courtney to hit him to give the whole scene some credibility. Courtney struck Sonny and yelled at him for being with Faith, saying that he never deserved Carly before "storming" out with Jason.

Jason and Courtney are shocked when Faith shows up at The Cellar and announces that Sonny gave the Club to Faith because The Club had too many painful memories of Carly for Sonny. Faith tries to remind Jason and Courtney that they must go along with the Federal Agents' Plan if they want help getting Carly back. As they argue, Mike arrives and announces that he does not believe that Sonny would abandon the search for Carly so soon. Jason and Courtney convince Mike that Sonny is self-destructing because the mob boss blames himself for Carly's disappearance and that no one can get through to Sonny just now. Mike warns Courtney to steer clear of Faith. After Mike leaves, Jason confides to Courtney that Jason has not given up on proving that it is RIC who has Carly! Lorenzo suddenly shows up at The Cellar! Faith orders Lorenzo to leave, but Lorenzo raises Jason's hackles when Lorenzo suggests it looks to him as if Sonny murdered his wife to be free to bed Faith! Jason blasts Lorenzo for his suggestion, Faith orders Lorenzo to leave before Faith orders Jason to throw him out! After Lorenzo leaves, Jason warns Faith never to try to order him around again. But Faith reminds Jason that their deal with the Feds calls for Jason to support the charade that Faith is Sonny's mistress! Later, Jason tells Courtney that he is going to find Carly, and Jason leaves the club. Jason breaks in to Ric's Place to plant a bug. Carly sees him enter the house from the monitor inside the panic room. She sees him plant bugs around the living room and then he uses a chair to climb on top of a cabinet to place a bug. Jason notices a video surveillance camera and tries to see where it is attached to. Carly holds out hope that he will find out that the camera is hooked up to a monitor from the secret room. She gets up and pulls out the monitor so that he can see her pulling on the other end of the cord and will figure out someone is on the other side of the wall. Carly wills Jason to follow the wire to find her! However, Jason hears a car door slam and jumps down and puts the chair away. Carly gets frustrated that Ric and Liz returned home so soon and interrupted what could have been her possible rescue. Jason manages to get out of the house before being caught.

Faith starts to boss Courtney around at the club. She tells her that Sonny has no choice but to allow her to be in his life and play being his mistress and that if she doesn't like it that is too bad. She also bad mouths Carly in front of Courtney as well. Sonny overhears her bullying Courtney and tells her to get out of his wife's club now. Scott shows up and sees him grab Faith's arm to get her to leave the club. He reminds Sonny that he needs to pretend she is his mistress and not treat her badly in public since he made a deal with the feds to help them. Courtney asks Scott what the feds have done so far to find Carly in exchange for Sonny's help. Scott tells them that so far they have only found pieces of Carly's hair and believe she was put on a plane to South America. Sonny doesn't want to work with Faith since he can't stand the sight of her and tells Scott that he will help the feds some other way than working with "this bitch." Scott has no sympathy for him as usual and tells him that Faith is the only woman who is willing to pretend she is his mistress since no other woman will have him. Scott leaves.

Jason tells Sonny what he did at Ric's place. Sonny is angry with him and lashes out at him for taking risks like that when Ric could have a videotape of him breaking in. Jason doesn't think Ric has a tape and tries to convince Sonny that Ric has video equipment because he has Carly. Sonny doesn't believe Ric has her and orders Jason to go with Courtney to the island and stay there for a while. Jason agrees to go. However, at the airport, he sends Courtney off alone to the island and tells her that he has to stay behind and prove somehow that Ric has Carly and rescue her and that he still believes Michael was telling the truth about Ric taking her. Courtney understands he has to do what he believes is right for him and kisses him goodbye. Jason listens in on the equipment he has set up at Ric's place. He wonders out loud who Ric is talking to if Liz is in the bathroom.

Jason shows up at the penthouse later. Sonny isn't too surprised to see him. Jason tells him he sent Courtney to the island to be with Michael. Sonny doesn't like that he didn't follow his orders and worries that he will get arrested if he goes after Ric and ruin his deal with the feds. Jason explains that he can't leave the country and that he promised Carly that he would always look after her. He also tells him about Emily's cancer and how helpless he feels when he can't do anything to make the cancer go away for her. Sonny is sympathetic and allows him to stay in Port Charles. Jason meets with his surveillance man and listens to a taped conversation between Ric and Liz. Jason hears a noise after Ric shuts the door after Liz leaves. He asks his technician to try and amplify and isolate the sound he keeps hearing but can't identify. Alcazar shows up at Sonny's place and Jason answers the door. Alcazar asks if Sonny is there. Jason tells him he isn't home and what he wants. Alcazar tells him that he knows where Carly is being held.

Carly awoke to find Luis Alcazar taking a picture of her. Alcazar ordered Carly not to tell Ric what he was doing, that he had decided he'd rather have Sonny in his debt than Ric. Ric arrived home and told Alcazar that he didn't want him breaking in whenever he felt like it. Ric and Alcazar argued while Jason listened through the bug. Backing up the phony evidence he had planted, Alcazar told Sonny that his associates in Venezuela had spotted Carly getting off a plane. Sonny told Alcazar that if he found Carly and returned her safely, that he would allow Alcazar to run drugs through his territory. Alcazar left, and Sonny told Jason that he would promise anything to get Carly back, even a promise he wouldn't keep. Sonny and Jason agreed that they believed Alcazar had access to Carly. Jason maintained however that Ric was still involved, and that Alcazar didn't know about it until later.

Alcazar and Ric were fighting at Ric's, with Jason listening in, wondering who the "her" was they were talking about. Ric reminded Alcazar he didn't ask for help. Carly talked to the monitor, urging Alcazar to tell Sonny where she is. Jason had recorded the conversation between Ric and Alcazar and wondered what the noise was after Alcazar left. It was the door to Carly's room opening. Later, he replayed the tapes for Sonny, who refused to believe Ric and Alcazar had been discussing Carly. They listened to the door opening sound, but couldn't identify it. Sonny took the tape to pass to the FBI for analysis. Jason broke into Alcazar's place and found one of the pictures of Carly. Jason returned to Sonny's with the photo of Carly. Sonny was very worried about Carly, but seemed to be losing it and refused to listen to Jason about his suspicions about Ric. Sonny was sure that Alcazar was the one to help them get Carly back.

Scott arrives at Sonny's Penthouse and informs Jason that the District Attorney does not appreciate being 'summoned' to the home of a mob boss! However, Jason delivers the photo of Carly that he found in Alcazar's apartment and demands that Scott run the photo through forensics to see if it was snapped in Venezuela. After Scott leaves, Jason again demands that Faith tell him where Ric is holding Carly. But Faith insists that Ric has nothing to do with Carly's disappearance. Faith tries to convince Jason that, IF Faith knew that Ric had Carly, Ric would never had taken the chance of allowing Faith to be arrested for trying to murder Elizabeth since Faith would have traded the information to the District Attorney in exchange for her freedom! Jason warns Faith that if Jason finds that Faith is lying, Jason will make sure that Faith disappears forever. Jason's surveillance expert reports to Jason that he is still picking up an unidentified Frequency whenever Ric is alone. When Ric returns home, Carly is surprised to see that Ric has something in a suitcase. Using sophisticated electronic equipment, Ric changes the combination to unlock the Panic Room, but Jason and his surveillance expert continue to listen in as Ric makes the change in the emergency system locks. Jason arrives back at Sonny's penthouse and Sonny reports that he is going to Venezuela. Then Scott arrives and reports that his forensics experts have determined that the picture of Carly was taken recently and that it was taken somewhere in Port Charles! Jason and Sonny play devil's advocate with him about that not proving anything. Scott is quite convinced that the feds are right about Carly being in Port Charles still. Jason tells Scott to get a search warrant on Ric's place or at least interrogate him into telling them where he has Carly. Scott resents Jason's orders and tells him that there is no proof that Ric took Carly but that Alcazar is most likely the kidnapper. Sonny agrees with Scott that Alcazar is their main target not Ric. Scott takes off. Jason reminds Sonny that they had made a deal that they wouldn't rule Ric out as a suspect or a co-conspirator with Alcazar. Sonny doesn't think Ric has her but agrees to keep an open mind. Jason tells him that everything that is going on with Carly comes right back to Ric. Sonny tells him that if Ric kidnapped his wife, he will let him kill him.

Ric spots the surveillance van across from his home and, realizing that the van has been left unguarded, Ric investigates with gun drawn. As Ric listens in on the surveillance equipment, Alcazar and his operative arrive at Ric's front door to move Carly. As Carly watches hopefully on the monitor, Alcazar tries his remote control and realizes that his remote no longer opens the Panic Room door! Carly is deeply disappointed when Alcazar and his goon leave the house. Jason returns to the van. He hears some paper shuffling and nothing else. Liz comes home early. He is surprised to see her and tells her he was just finishing some paperwork on a case he is settling right now. He tells her that he has something to tell her that is important. Carly wonders what he is up to while she watches and listens to the monitor. Jason listens as Ric confesses to Liz that he hasn't totally given up his hate for Sonny but that he has been secretly trying to find Carly for Sonny even if he hates him. Jason lets Sonny hear the conversation on the headphones when he arrives at the van. Ric tells her that his feelings for Sonny are complicated. Elizabeth is very supportive and believes he is deep down a good man. Carly can't believe Elizabeth is falling for his lies again. Sonny finds what Ric said somewhat logical for Ric in his twisted mind. Jason tells him that Ric could also be lying to Liz.

Edward shows up and tells Sonny he wants his great-grandson back. Sonny tells him that isn't going to happen and that Michael is his son now and that won't change. Edward gets to Sonny a little bit by scolding him for taking up with Faith so soon after his wife was kidnapped and that his behavior shows that he isn't fit to raise Michael for that reason alone. Jason comes in and isn't happy to see Edward. He asks him if he ever plans to give up and leave them alone. Edward tells him he doesn't plan to. Sonny throws Edward out. However, Sonny takes what Edward said to heart and worries about how things must look to everyone else when he is seen with Faith and worries that they won't ever find her again. Jason insists they continue to listen in on the tapes in the van. Sonny tells him to go and get rid of the van and stop listening to the tapes and concentrate on Alcazar now. Jason leaves. Jason is back in the surveillance van and tells his technician to shut everything down on Sonny's orders. Liz returns home early and calls Ric and leaves a message for him on his cell-phone to pick her up some extra-strength aspirin because she has a really bad headache. Carly watches her from the monitor in the panic room. Liz goes to get a blanket to lie down on the couch with and notices the cabinet to the bookshelf is open and goes to shut it. She notices a white button attached to the inside of the bookcase. She looks at it and wonders what is for. Carly watches her and urges her to push the button when she realizes what Liz found. Jason's technician tells Jason that Liz is home and called Ric for some aspirin and that she is making noise near where they heard that strange sound coming from. However, before they can listen in on the tape, the doors to the van are opened and Scott and a cop are there to tell him he is under arrest for violating the restraining order to stay away from the house. Scott tells him that Ric called him to report seeing a van there. Liz pushes the button and is shocked speechless when the panic room door opens and she sees Carly near the doorway thanking her for finally finding her and that Ric kept her there. Liz is immobile and is stunned at the sight of Carly.

Ric admitted to Sonny that he had Jason arrested. Ric insisted that he and Elizabeth wanted to live in peace but that Jason kept disrupting their lives. Sonny convinced Ric to drop the charges against Jason, promising that Jason would bother him no more. Scott escorted Jason and Sonny to Ric's, where Jason reluctantly removed the bug. As they all turned to leave Sonny sensed something. He told Scott he and Jason were staying behind to wait for Ric. Scott left and ordered Sonny not to call the police with his family problems. Sonny told Jason he could now sense that Ric had Carly. Elizabeth was stunned when the secret door opened and there stood Carly. Still chained, Carly desperately yelled to Elizabeth, but Elizabeth was frozen with shock. Carly begged her to call 911. Elizabeth picked up the phone and startled to dial, but was suddenly overcome with vertigo and collapsed to the floor. Carly yelled for Elizabeth to toss her the phone. Elizabeth managed to do so just before passing out, but the phone was just out of Carly's reach. Carly struggled and finally managed to reach the phone with an umbrella, but just then Ric entered. He grabbed the phone from Carly's hands and rushed to Elizabeth's side. He demanded to know what Carly had done to Elizabeth. Screaming, Carly told Ric he had hurt Elizabeth with the pills he had secretly been feeding her. She demanded that he let her go before Elizabeth awakes and tells everyone that she saw Carly. Flustered and anger, Ric closed Carly back up in the room and rushed Elizabeth to the hospital where she was admitted. Tony Jones told Ric that a blood clot had caused Elizabeth's collapse, but that they had been able to remove it. Edward arrived at the police to bail out Dillon only to find that Jason was under arrest as well. Edward berated Jason for his criminal lifestyle, but Jason put him in his place while an impressed Dillon looked on.

Carly watched Sonny and Jason in Ric's house and Sonny commented that he could feel Carly's presence. Sonny berated himself for living with Faith and making a deal with the Feds. Carly was thrilled to hear Sonny say he knew Carly was alive and was willing him to her. He knew Ric would lead them to Carly. Ric came home and Sonny wondered why Ric talked about Elizabeth as though she were already dead. Ric reminded himself that she is a fighter and everything will be fine. Sonny told him to never give up.

Jason flew over to the island to be with Courtney, who confided to him how upset Michael is. When Michael sees Jason, Michael tells Jason that Michael has remembered that, when Ric took Carly, Ric said: "I am taking you home!" Jason decides to take Michael and Courtney back to Port Charles with him. But Courtney cautions Jason that Michael might have made up his latest 'memory' because Michael has been eager to return home, and believes that 'remembering' something more about his mother's abduction is Michael's ticket home! Courtney and Jason arrive at the Hospital with Michael and Maxie tells Jason about Elizabeth's pulmonary embolism. Jason leaves Michael with Maxie while Jason and Courtney slip in to Elizabeth's room. When Jason tells Courtney that it is strange that Elizabeth would suddenly be in critical condition only weeks after marrying Ric, Courtney goes to find a doctor to find out about Elizabeth's condition. But, instead, Courtney runs in to Faith and informs the her that since Michael is now home, Faith needs to move out of the Penthouse pronto! At the same time, Michael spots Ric in the hallway and tells Ric pointblank that Michael saw Ric take his mother! In the meantime, Jason speaks to an unconscious Elizabeth and tells her that Jason is afraid that if Elizabeth stays with Ric, Liz will end up dead!

At that moment, Elizabeth flat-lines and Jason stares in horror at the monitor! The crash cart was rushed into Elizabeth's room and Tony succeeded in getting her heart beating again. Jason told Tony to notify hospital security and tell them not to allow Faith Roscoe anywhere near Elizabeth. Tony told Jason and Courtney that Elizabeth should make a full recovery. Down the hall, Michael attacked Ric and said he knew that Ric took his mother away. Ric pretended innocence. Sonny arrived and scolded Michael, telling him not to make up stories, even going so far as to tell Michael that Ric is helping them search for Carly. When Jason and Courtney arrived, Jason couldn't believe what Sonny was saying. After Sonny ordered Courtney and Jason to take Michael home, he told Jason to tell Michael to stop lying. On their way home, Michael asked Jason to kill Ric so that his mother would come home. After telling Michael that Carly wouldn't want Michael to wish anybody dead, Lorenzo came along. Courtney took Michael back home as Lorenzo informed Jason that he needs access to Sonny's piers in order to ship in his drug supplies. When Jason told Lorenzo that Sonny's against drugs, Lorenzo said that Sonny has no choice. Dillon approached Jason and said he wants nothing to do with the Quartermaines. As a lingering Lorenzo eavesdropped, Dillon asked Jason if he could work for him. Jason offered to give Dillon money, a place of his own and a job but said Dillon would not be working for Sonny. After calling Jason a hypocrite, Dillon said he'd handle things himself.

Later, Sonny told Jason that he played Ric the same way that Ric's been playing Sonny, adding that he pretended not to believe Michael at the hospital so that Michael would not be in danger from Ric. Beginning to believe that Ric's holding Carly in Ric's house, Sonny told Jason they need to get hold of a copy of the houseplans to Ric's house. Sonny listens to Michael tell him that he now remembers Ric telling Carly that he was taking her home. Sonny realize that Ric may have had Carly all this time under his nose. He ends up apologizing to Jason for doubting him about Ric's guilt. Ric returns to the house and tells Carly that he is letting her go because of his love for Elizabeth and lets her call Sonny to tell him where she is. She calls Sonny and tells him where she is. Sonny had already vowed to kill Ric once she was home safe. Sonny tells her he loves her. Sonny and Jason arrive at Ric's and find no sign of Carly. All they found was Ric, bleeding from the head and lying on the floor. Sonny picked him up and slammed him against the wall, demanding to know where Carly was. Ric told him that he didn't know, that someone had come in and struck him on the head, and that when he awoke Carly was gone. Ric told Sonny it must be Alcazar as he was the only other person who knew Carly's whereabouts. Garcia and another officer entered and separated Ric and Sonny. Ric told Garcia that Sonny would have killed him had they not arrived just then. Garcia told Ric to thank Elizabeth as she was the once who had called the police. Sonny told Garcia to arrest Ric and issue an all-point bulletin for Alcazar and Carly.

Elizabeth remembered seeing Carly and called the police. When Garcia came, she explained to him that she had seen Carly chained to a wall in a secret room in her and Ric's house. She said it all made sense now, Ric's frequent disappearances and reappearance's. Carly awoke on Alcazar's airplane. Carly was able to get control of the gun and holding Alcazar at gunpoint, she ordered him to have the pilot turn the plane around. She took his cell phone and called home. Michael answered, and Carly reassured him that they would soon be reunited. Carly asked for Sonny, but Michael told him that Sonny was not home because he had gone to get her. Carly then asked to speak with Courtney, but just as Michael put Carly on the phone, Alcazar charged Carly and grabbed the gun back. Courtney only hears Carly scream and the phone goes dead.

Sonny gave orders to let a ship go through the harbor and look the other way. Jason asked Sonny to not let Alcazar get control of his territory. Sonny lost patience, since Alcazar has Carly and Jason doesn't know where they are. Jason wondered if Sonny was thinking clearly and not aware of the dangers ahead. Sonny assured Jason he knew what he was doing, but was frustrated. Courtney went into Ric's hospital room to question him about Alcazar and Carly. She held the call button out of his reach and lectured him about his evil ways. She wondered if he wants Jason to kill him and demanded he tell her what makes Alcazar vulnerable. Ric said there was nothing and he only hoped Carly could stay alive after Alcazar no longer needs her as a bargaining chip. Courtney begged for his help and he told her Jason will kill him first. She said if he'd only help them find Carly, Sonny would let him go and he'd have a chance with Elizabeth. Ric wouldn't discuss it further. She saw Jason in the hallway and expressed her concern that he not go to jail for murder. Jason assured her he wouldn't, but he would make Ric talk. Jason entered Ric's room and asked about Carly. He pulled the call button out of the wall and threatened Ric by holding his head in a death grip. Jason accused Ric of working with Alcazar all along. Ric dared Jason to kill him, since he wouldn't find Carly anyway. Jason took Ric to the room where he'd held Carly. Courtney came into the house and Jason asked if she still trusted him.

Alcazar offered to let allow Carly call home. Sonny was talking to Michael when the phone rang and Michael answered. Sonny took the phone and she told him Michael might feel better on the ocean, miles away from land. Sonny realized she was telling him where she was. Alcazar grabbed the phone and he and Sonny agreed they had an understanding about the shipment. At Ric's Place, as Courtney pleads with Jason to put their life together ahead of any determination Jason has to get rid of Ric, Jason hands the remote to the Panic Room to Courtney and angrily instructs Courtney to see for herself what has happened to Ric. When the door slides open, Courtney is relieved when she sees that Ric is still alive. Jason angrily points out to Courtney that dealing with Ric is part of Jason's business and that Courtney just interfered with Jason's job. But Ric tells Courtney that he supervised the building of the compound where Alcazar is probably holding Carly and Ric might be able to get Carly out safely. Jason asks Courtney if she is going to believe Ric and go to Sonny with Ric's tale. Jason then blasts Courtney for not trusting Jason enough to let Jason do his job and Courtney walks out in a huff. Before leaving the house himself, Jason tells Ric that someone will come back for Ric if they need Ric's information. Otherwise, Jason will dump Ric's body somewhere nice and Jason leaves Ric alone in the Panic Room.

Jason tracks Dillon down at Kelly's and Dillon fills Jason in on the phone call Dillon was supposed to make for Alcazar. And Dillon assures Jason that Dillon is not voluntarily working for Alcazar. Jason warns Dillon to get away from Alcazar before Dillon ends up dead. Jason warns Dillon that Alcazar is setting a situation up so that Jason will have no other choice except to kill a member of Jason's own family! Dillon suggests that Jason let Dillon spy on Alcazar and report back to Jason. But Jason warns Dillon to stay out of the situation altogether and to return home to the Quartermaine Mansion. When Courtney returns to the Penthouse, Sonny asks Courtney to stay with Leticia and Michael while Sonny goes to see Carly. Courtney mentions nothing about Ric's claim to be able to get Carly out of Alcazar's compound safely. Later, when Jason arrives at the Penthouse, Jason is surprised that Sonny has gone out alone because Alcazar said that the gun-runner had arranged a meeting with Carly. Still smarting from their earlier encounter, Courtney asks Jason which land mind she exploded, because she has never seen Jason so mean before. Jason merely tells Courtney again that she must stay out of his business and asks Courtney if she really knows what Jason does! Courtney again agrees to stay away from Jason's work. But Courtney points out that, because she doubted Jason's judgment about one thing, Jason is now acting as if Courtney had no faith in Jason at all! Courtney tells Jason that she was afraid Jason would kill Ric in the Hospital corridor and either go to jail forever or end up dead himself. Courtney pleads with Jason to understand that Courtney took the action she did because Courtney wants Jason to stay in her life! Jason tells Courtney that he cannot let her make choices for him. Jason admits that he fights people who try to make choices for him even if Jason loves those people.

Sonny is on Alcazar's yacht, Alcazar tells him that he will take him to see Carly but needs him to do something for him first. Sonny doesn't like to hear that Alcazar wants something more from him after promising he could see Carly. He tells him he wants him to kill Ric. Sonny asks him why he wants Ric dead since he was his co-conspirator. Alcazar tells him that Ric is crazy and can't be trusted. He tells him the irony of what he is asking him to do since Sonny was in a way responsible for his own brother's death. Sonny agrees to have Jason kill Ric if he hasn't already. Alcazar hands him the phone. Sonny calls Jason at his penthouse. Jason answers while Courtney is in the room. He tells Jason that if he hasn't already done it , to get rid of Ric now. Jason starts to argue about that but he can tell by how Sonny said it that it isn't what is seems and says ok. Courtney asks him what is going on. He tells her it was Sonny and that he has something he has to do. Courtney really starts to worry about Jason.

Elizabeth has found Ric in the panic room and tells him that she is going to let him go only because she can't let Sonny or Jason torture and kill him and she asks him if there is any place he can go and hide. A noise draws their attention. They see Jason coming up the front walk. Ric tells her he wants her to go and let Jason do what he needs to do. Elizabeth runs out of the panic room and shuts it closed with the button and hides in the hallway. Jason lets himself in and opens the panic room. She watches in horror as Jason empties his gun with several shots in Ric's direction. Elizabeth screams for Jason to stop it. Jason hears her and gets angry with her for coming over to see Ric after what he did to her. Elizabeth fights him as he drags her out of the house and into the car. Elizabeth fights him as he carries her into Sonny's penthouse. Courtney comes downstairs when she hears Elizabeth accusing Jason of killing Ric. Elizabeth tells Courtney what Jason did and how he dragged her out of the car and how Max took Ric's body in a bag and threw in the trunk. When Courtney doesn't act surprised, Elizabeth realizes she already knew what Jason was going to do and didn't stop him. Elizabeth plans to call the cops and report Jason but he stops her from making the call. Elizabeth tells Jason that Ric did some horrible things but didn't deserve to be killed by him. Jason tries to explain that things aren't the way they appear but Elizabeth heads to the door to leave to report them. She hears Ric's voice telling her to wait. She turns around to see Ric at the top of the staircase, alive and well. Alcazar allows Sonny to come in the room and reunite with Carly (since he has received notification of Ric's death). Alcazar tells him that he is lucky Jason follows orders so efficiently so he can now see his wife. Sonny asks him to leave him alone with his wife. Alcazar leaves. Carly runs into his arms and tells him to keep holding her tight. He asks her how she and the baby are feeling. She tells him they are doing fine. Sonny holds on to her tightly and tells her he loves her.

Scott questions Elizabeth at Kelly's about Ric's whereabouts, she tells him that Jason has him held up there at Sonny's place. Jason ties up Ric and tapes his mouth shut so he doesn't have to listen to him. Sonny shows up and is angry with Jason for not killing him like he told him to on the phone. Jason explains that he didn't think he wanted him to kill Ric but just to make it look like he did for Alcazar's sake and that he put him here until he could find a safe house for him. Sonny doesn't like it but accepts Jason's decision to hold off. He approaches Ric and tells him he is taking him out. He takes him to Martha's Vineyard to the old house. Courtney gets upset and asks Jason to stop Sonny from killing Ric because she feels strongly that Sonny will feel guilty after he does it once his anger disappears. Jason tells her that he can't stop Sonny once his mind is set and tells her that Sonny is a lot stronger than she thinks. Courtney still isn't so sure he is right about Sonny's ability to handle this. Scott gets a warrant and goes to Sonny's place with a cop. He asks Jason where Ric is but Jason plays dumb and tells him he doesn't know where he is. Scott asks Courtney where Ric is. She is torn about telling him and doesn't say anything. An indifferent Jason told them to search all they wanted, that Ric was not there. Scott tried to work Courtney, but she only replied that she hadn't seen Ric and had no idea where he was. Scott warned Jason that Ric had inside information about Alcazar's compound in Venezuela, so killing him would destroy their best chance of finding Carly. After Scott and the police left, Courtney begged Jason to find Sonny and stop him from killing Ric before it was too late. Faith went to the penthouse and demanded that Jason tell her where Ric was. Jason gave her no information and sent her away thinking Ric was dead. Faith went home and put a loaded gun in her purse.

Sonny told Ric that Carly and the baby would come home, and that they would be safe because Ric would no longer be around. Suddenly Jason burst in and told Sonny that Ric had key information about Alcazar's property. Ready to kill Ric, Sonny held a gun to Ric's head while Jason pleaded with him not to do it. Jason warned Sonny that the police had come to the penthouse looking for Ric on Elizabeth's tip. Jason also pointed out Sonny needed to stay out of jail to help Carly. Jason offered to kill Ric himself to protect Sonny from investigation. They heard a noise outside and Jason told Sonny that the cops had arrived. Jason dragged Ric off while Sonny answered the door. Scott and the police entered the house and asked Sonny what he was doing there. Scott asked what Sonny was doing at Ric's house and Sonny told him he'd need a search warrant to look around. Jason held Ric at gunpoint in another room. Scott warned Sonny to not do anything stupid that might endanger Carly. Later, Ric taunted Jason about how Sonny needs him now to save Carly and it must hurt Jason to not be able to kill him. Jason punched him a few times and promised to pay him back.

Jason returned to the penthouse and Sonny outlined his plan to have a front man buy the drugs and dispose of them. He was also afraid that Alcazar would take Carly to the family compound and they needed Ric to rescue her, since he helped build the compound. Sonny vowed that he would never forgive or forget and that someday Ric would pay for what he's done. Courtney came over and as she and Jason talked, she slumped to the sofa, feeling ill. As Jason rubbed her back, she admitted that felt better and Jason said it always made Carly feel better when she was pregnant with Michael. Courtney assures Jason that, just because she has been queasy, it does not necessarily mean that she is pregnant. When Courtney mentions that a pregnancy right now would not be good for anyone, Courtney is disappointed when Jason agrees with her! Later, Courtney overhears Sonny telling Jason how angry Sonny is that people like Alcazar keep targeting Sonny's wife and child in order to get to Sonny and Jason again agrees that Jason is relieved that Jason has no child for his enemies to target. Courtney slips back across the hall to Jason's Penthouse and takes a clandestine pregnancy test which turns out to be positive!

Sonny explains his plan to Jason, while Faith meets with Lorenzo at the Port Charles Grill. Faith explains to Lorenzo that the police dismissed the attempted murder charges against Faith for lack of evidence so Faith no longer has any incentive for lowering herself to cozy up to Sonny for information. Faith offers to pay Alcazar twice what Alcazar's regular distributors have offered, if Faith can have Lorenzo's shipment of drugs. Faith claims that she wants revenge against Sonny because Sonny had Faith's husband murdered and Faith believes that Alcazar's drug shipment will allow Faith to begin to consolidate power against Sonny! Lorenzo finally agrees to sell his shipment to Faith and Faith reports her success back to Sonny.

Courtney continues to have bouts of nausea and makes an appointment to see a doctor at Mercy Hospital. Jason notices one of her weak spells and asks her if she is ok. She tells him she is fine and that she hasn't been sleeping or eating well because of what is going on with Carly. Alcazar shows up to meet with Sonny. Courtney tells Jason that she needs some fresh air and is going for a walk. He walks her to the elevator. Sonny comes downstairs and meets with Alcazar about a drug shipment he promised to deliver for him in exchange for getting Carly back eventually. Alcazar tells him that everything with the drug deal went smoothly. Sonny asks him what he gets in return for coming through on his promise. Alcazar tells him that he will let him know soon after he makes sure the rest of his drugs are stored where they are suppose to be and nothing happens. Alcazar makes a remark about how he can see why Sonny loves Carly so much since he has gotten to know her lately and she is an extraordinary woman. Sonny warns him not to touch her. Alcazar tells him he doesn't plan to and that being on the yacht has given them opportunities to talk. Alcazar leaves. Sonny and Jason discussed Sonny's concerns for Carly and how he wants his life back again. Jason assures him that it is a good thing that Carly is pregnant since it gives her something to focus on without thinking about her situation as much. Sonny takes off and tells Faith that Jason will take care of things for her. Jason brings Faith to see Ric, who is working non-stop on drawing the details of getting into Alcazar's compound in Venezuela. Max tells him he better find a way for them to get inside it or he is dead. Jason tells him he has until tomorrow to finish up the drawing and find a way for them to get inside the compound.

Courtney goes to Kelly's and runs into Mike. She sits down with him and orders tea. He notices she looks a little haggard and asks her what is wrong. She tells him she probably has a touch of the flu bug that she can't seem to shake and will be all right. Mike is still concerned about her. She decides to go home and goes to get her keys but Mike opens her purse to get her keys and offers to drive her home. He finds a pamphlet in her purse about pregnancy and puts two and two together. He asks her if she is pregnant. Courtney doesn't deny it but tells him that she doesn't know if she is going to tell Jason right now with everything going on with Carly. Mike doesn't agree with her and urges her to tell Jason about the pregnancy so that she has that support from him right now. Courtney tells him she will think about it. She returns to the penthouse and watches Michael so Leticia can have the night off. Jason returns from the halfway house. He asks her how she is feeling. She tells him she is fine. She keeps trying to tell him about her pregnancy but can't find the words to tell him. She finally gets up the nerve and tells him she had a surprise for herself today. Courtney is about to tell Jason about her pregnancy but Michael calls down from the stairs for Sonny after having a nightmare. Jason goes to comfort and talk to Michael. He tells him that when he was a baby he use to take care of him and was like a father to him before Sonny knew him. Michael goes back to sleep for a while. Courtney talks to Jason about that time period when he was a father to Michael. Jason explains that Carly couldn't handle being a mother to Michael and had to leave for a while because she was afraid to make things worse if she stayed. Courtney listens as Jason tells her about how he loved being a father figure for Michael and that he sometimes misses that but he knows that he needed to do that in order to help bring Sonny and Carly into his life eventually. Courtney is a little disappointed when he tells her that he can't be a father right now because it would stop him from being able to do his job or even want to put himself at risk in case he had to leave and got killed. He tells her that he eventually would like to have children, but not right now in his life. He remembers she had a surprise to tell him but she tells him it isn't important right now.

Sonny tells Jason that he put a tracking device on Alcazar's yacht and they should have results soon about where it is going. Jason has to leave to get ready. Sonny gets dressed in black and is putting on gloves. Courtney brings up the subject of Michael and asks Sonny if he realizes the sacrifice Jason made to him by allowing him to adopt Michael when he was like a father to Michael as a baby. Sonny asks her what she means by that. She explains that Jason takes risks in his job that Sonny doesn't have to make because Jason does things so that Sonny can be a father and not be in the line of fire as much. Sonny explains to her that Jason being a risk taker and not being over cautious has helped him because he doesn't have to worry about him as much. Courtney tells him that she doesn't mind that he is helping him find Carly and needs to take risks with his life because of it but asks that Sonny be cautious for Jason when he can't be like that for himself. Sonny tells her he will. Jason comes over and kisses her goodbye. Michael wakes up again and sits and talks with Courtney. Michael suggests that she could have a baby with Uncle Jason and just like Mommy and Daddy. Courtney tells him that sometimes babies can be a surprise sometimes. Sonny and Jason head to the yacht and get there to find no sign of Carly or Alcazar. They realize they are too late. Sonny finds the tracking device still in place but Jason finds a bomb taped underneath the table. The bomb's clock says they have less than 20 seconds before it explodes.

On the plane, Carly starts to double over and tells him she is in pain. Alcazar tells her that faking labor pains won't work with him again and tells her she is stuck with him. Carly tells him she isn't faking them this time. Carly went into premature labor. Disbelieving at first, Alcazar soon realized that her trauma was real this time. Elizabeth went to the penthouse looking for Sonny. Courtney informed her that he was not home, but Elizabeth insisted on waiting for him. Courtney told Elizabeth that Ric was fine, that she shouldn't worry about him anyway. Elizabeth began to defend Ric, saying that he had done horrible things but that she had seen some good in him. Courtney reminded Elizabeth that Ric had made conscious choices to do bad things and warned Elizabeth against taking him back. Elizabeth declared that she would never take Ric back, but that she would always feel some attachment to him because of the baby they lost together. Elizabeth told Courtney that when you share that kind of pain with someone, you are always connected.

Jason discovered a bomb on Alcazar's yacht with only few seconds left to detonation. Jason showed it to Sonny. The two men froze and braced themselves for the blast, but it never came. Jason checked the bomb again. Sonny determined that Alcazar was simply playing mind games with him and letting him know that he was in control. Jason returned to the penthouse and told Courtney that Alcazar had taken Carly from the yacht before they got there. Courtney asked what would happen next, and Jason told a frightened Courtney that he would have to invade Alcazar's compound in order to free Carly. Courtney struggled to tell Jason that she was pregnant, but could not find the words. She begged Jason not to go off on the dangerous mission, but Jason insisted that he had made a promise to help Carly whenever she needed him. Later,Jason insisted to Sonny that Jason should take the greatest risks in their mission. Sonny refused, insisting that it was his duty to take any risks necessary to save his wife.

A tearful Courtney begs Jason not to risk his life but he reminds her why he must keep a promise he made to Carly long ago. Courtney explains to Mike why she still hasn't revealed her secret to Jason. Faith shows up at the penthouse and demands that Courtney put her in touch with Sonny right away, but Courtney informs Faith that she cannot get in touch with Sonny! As Courtney and Faith argue, Scott also shows up, demanding to know what has become of the money Scott gave to Faith to buy the drugs from Alcazar's stooge! Scott implores Courtney to get in touch with Sonny and Scott warns Courtney that Jason and Sonny will probably get killed in their half-baked attempt to rescue Carly.

On board Sonny's jet, Jason cautions Sonny about relying on Ric's report about Carly's whereabouts, but Ric insists that Alcazar's guard told Ric that Alcazar stopped in Leon because Carly had gone into labor. Jason questions whether or not one of Alcazar's guards would have all of that information, but Sonny points out that Sonny's guards know a lot about Sonny's business that Sonny doesn't necessarily tell them just because they are, by nature, observant. Jason tells Sonny that Jason believes it might help them blindside Alcazar if Lorenzo is distracted about the money lost in the drug bust. Later, Carly notices that one of the nurses has a cell phone in her purse! Carly decoys the nurse away to look for a brush and then Carly grabs the cell phone. At the same time, on Sonny's jet, Sonny tries to find out if Alcazar stayed in Leon or took Carly somewhere else, but Sonny loses the connection to his contact in Leon. Jason reminds Sonny that Alcazar still needs Sony, so if they do not find Carly in Leon they should return to Port Charles. Ric tells Sonny that Ric spent a lot of time in Leon when working for Alcazar, and knows his way around the city. Ric promises Sonny that Ric will be able to help Sonny set Carly free. Carly uses the cell phone and calls the Penthouse. Courtney answers. Carly tells Courtney that she is at the Clinica Central in Leon, Colombia. When Courtney informs Carly that Jason and Sonny have gone to South America to rescue Carly, Carly tells Courtney that Carly cannot be moved for a while, so Carly will NOT be taken to Alcazar's compound for at least another 24 hours! However, Lorenzo comes to see Carly and catches Carly on the phone. Lorenzo angrily grabs the phone out of Carly's hand and blasts Carly for repaying his kindness with a betrayal!

Courtney leaves a message with Jason's voice mail, then calls Sonny's associate in Leon. When the Associate informs Courtney that he is out of touch with Sonny, Courtney orders a plane so Courtney can fly to Leon and deliver the message herself. As Courtney gets ready to leave, George suddenly arrives at the Penthouse door with the suitcase full of money, looking for Jason. Georgie quickly fills Courtney in on the details about Dillon and the suitcase and tells Courtney that Faith saw Dillon grab the suitcase when the police busted Faith buying drugs from Alcazar's contact. Courtney orders Georgie to stay at the Penthouse and tells Georgie that Courtney plans to take the money to Faith at the Port Charles Hotel. Courtney realizes that Georgie has followed Courtney as far as Kelly's. As Courtney tries to convince George to return to the Penthouse, two of Alcazar's men spot the briefcase and Courtney hands the suitcase to Georgie and orders Georgie to run. Then Courtney surprises Alcazar's men by attacking them! Until one of the men pulls a gun on Courtney and orders Courtney to stand still! At the Clinic in Leon, Lorenzo warns Carly that if Carly has succeeded in luring Sonny to the Clinic, then Alcazar will regretfully have to kill Sonny when Sonny arrives! Sonny, Jason and Ric slip into a clinic in Leon, but are devastated when they discover only the cleaning crew! Sonny concludes that Alcazar has already moved Carly.

Outside Kelly's Courtney manages to knock one of Alcazar's men down and run off. She heads to Faith's hotel room and knocks out the guard there as well. Faith lets her in. Courtney tells Faith to call Alcazar and tell him she has his money so he won't ruin the deal with Sonny. Courtney walks out with Georgie and Dillon after assuring Faith that they won't tell anyone what happened. Outside of the room, Courtney tells them they are lucky that Faith didn't have them killed after what they did. She tells them to go home and she will deal with Faith. She has a dizzy spell but tells them she is going to be o.k.

Ric, Jason, and Sonny arrive at one of the hospitals in Columbia to look for Carly but only find a cleaning woman at the last room. They go back to the hotel and Sonny and Jason argue with Ric about what hospital she could be in. Their argument is interrupted by a knock on the door. It is Courtney. Jason lets her in and demands to know why she risked her safety to come all the way here when one of their men could have sent the message. Courtney manages to tell them about Carly's call and where she is. Ric tells them it is only a few blocks away. Jason argues with Courtney but Sonny interrupts him to tell him he doesn't have time to wait for him. Sonny orders Courtney to stay in the room until they return. Courtney stays around but Alcazar busts in the door with a gun and asks her where they went. Sonny, Ric, and Jason show up at the clinic. Jason stands outside the room as a lookout and tries to find some sign of Alcazar's guards. One of Alcazar's men is hiding somewhere and has Jason in his target range. Sonny and Ric find Carly in one of the rooms. She sees Ric and asks Sonny why he is there with them. Sonny doesn't have time to explain. Ric tells them they need to get out of the clinic now.

Jason searches the area of the clinic for any signs of Alcazar's men. He goes back into Carly's hospital room and tells Ric and Sonny that he doesn't like it that there are no guards around and they need to get out of there. Carly tells them she can't walk right now because she is afraid her labor will start again. Jason tells Sonny he will carry her. Ric and Sonny have guns and look around the area. Alcazar's men set up an ambush inside the clinic. Ric notices one of the men coming out and aiming at Sonny. Ric warns Sonny to duck and takes a bullet in the leg and chest. Jason protects Carly and shields her until he can find a hiding place. Ric tells Sonny to leave with Jason and Carly and he will stay behind and deal with the men. Sonny and Jason leave with Carly. Sonny and Carly head to the private plane but Jason heads back to the hotel to get Courtney. However, Courtney is held there by Alcazar, who has a gun on him. He tells her that they are going to wait for Sonny and Jason to return. He gets a call from one of his men informing him of what is going on at the clinic. Alcazar tells the man on the phone to keep him alive. Ric had shot at the men but got to weak to do much good and the men came upon him laying against the couch in the waiting area. Alcazar informs Courtney that Ric took a bullet for Sonny and that he and Jason got away with Carly. He tells her that she is now going to be his bargaining chip. Courtney starts to feel weak and he asks her what is wrong. She tells him she is coming down with the flu. Jason shows up at the hotel room to find Alcazar there with a gun pointed at Courtney who is tied up in a chair and gagged. Alcazar tells him that he needs to call Sonny and tell him to return Carly to him or he will take Courtney instead. Jason tells him that isn't going to happen.

One of Sonny's pilots gets on the P.A. system and tells them that they need to take off because Alcazar's men are gaining on them. Sonny tells them they can't and must wait for Jason to arrive. Ric gets medical treatment at the clinic. Ric starts to go into cardiac arrest and flatlines but is resuscitated. Sonny makes the painful decision to leave Jason and Courtney behind and fly back to Port Charles with Carly. Alcazar threatens to kill Courtney unless Jason returns Carly to him. Jason escapes from Alcazar and informs Sonny that Courtney is being held hostage. Jason saves Ric from certain death at the hands of Alcazar's henchman. Carly and Michael are reunited back at the penthouse.

Jason rescues Ric from the clinic because he thinks that Ric may be able to help rescue Courtney. Ric begs Jason to take him to the Port Charles and asks Jason to trust him in helping find Courtney. A priest comes in to give Ric his last rites. Jason pays the priest to bury a body laying in the bed as Ric Lansing. They fly back to Port Charles and Ric begs Jason to call Liz but Jason refuses. Ric tells Jason that Liz thinks that he is dead. Jason tells Ric that it would have been better for Liz if Ric would have died. Jason tells Ric that Carly almost died because of Ric and that now Lorenzo has Courtney, saving Courtney is Ric's only chance. Jason calls Sonny that he and Ric are on their way back to Port Charles. Ric only agreed to help rescue Courtney if Jason brought him back to Port Charles.

Courtney asks Lorenzo why did he want to speak to Carly and Sonny asks Carly the same thing. Lorenzo tells Courtney that Sonny must not care much about her since Sonny was unwilling to cooperate by allowing Lorenzo to speak to Carly. Courtney tells Lorenzo that Sonny will hold up the deal to save her and asks Lorenzo why did he switch Carly for Courtney? Lorenzo tells Courtney that Carly is extremely determined. She beat the odds by saving her baby. Courtney tells him that he had no respect for Carly's baby and that all he cared about was getting what he needed to move his product. Lorenzo asks Courtney if her passion for the subject has anything to do with her situation. Lorenzo asks if Courtney was pregnant and Courtney denies it. Lorenzo offers Courtney a drink and she refuses. Lorenzo hands her a drink and asks her to prove that she is not pregnant. He tells her that they could have drinks every night for weeks or months as long as he decides to keep her hostage. He tells her that Carly would never do anything to harm her baby, but maybe Courtney would. Courtney puts the glass down and Lorenzo congratulates her.

Lorenzo asks if Jason knows that Courtney is pregnant. Courtney tells Lorenzo that her relationship is none of his business. Lorenzo realizes that no one else knows about her pregnancy. Courtney asks why Lorenzo goes through all this trouble, what would be worth all of this trouble. Lorenzo tells her that he simply wants Sonny's territory and Courtney does not believe him. Sonny and Carly are happy when Jason returns to the Penthouse and fills them in on the events in Colombia. Admitting that he is sorry that he left Courtney in Alcazar's clutches, Jason vows that he will get Courtney back. Meanwhile, on board Alcazar's yacht, Courtney realizes that Lorenzo is having his men watch Carly. At the same time, when Sonny learns that Alcazar and Courtney have not arrived at Alcazar's compound in South America, Jason is relieved that he did not try to stay in South America to try to rescue Courtney from Alcazar's compound. Jason informs Sonny that Jason now believes that Alcazar wants more than free reign to run drugs through Sonny's territory now Alcazar wants Carly! Sonny agrees that it does appear that Alcazar is now more interested in having Carly back than in demanding use of Sonny's territory for drugs.

Lorenzo tries to pump Courtney for information about Carly. Pretending to be prepared to tell Lorenzo all about Carly, Courtney gets close enough to knock Alcazar down and make a break for it. But Alcazar recovers soon enough to fire a warning shot at Courtney and stops her at the door. As Courtney realizes that Alcazar has visions of Carly leaving Sonny for Lorenzo, one of Alcazar's men arrives and announces that there is rough weather ahead and urges Alcazar to leave immediately if he wants to avoid taking off in the bad weather. At the same time, Sonny and Jason decide that they still need Ric to help them figure out where Alcazar might be taking Courtney, and they head to the Hospital.

At GH, as Carly gloats about her triumph over Ric, Sonny and Jason arrive and Sonny soon orders Carly to leave. After Sonny quizzes Ric and Ric admits that he has no idea which port Alcazar would take Courtney to, Sonny declares that Sonny hopes Alcazar's men find Ric and finish him off! As Jason sits on the dock in Port Charles, looking at the wedding ring that Courtney planned to give to him, Courtney is aboard Alcazar's yacht as the yacht sails in to the squall. As Courtney begs one of the crewmen to let her out of the cabin so she can help them, the crewman responds by locking Courtney in her room! When Courtney tries to break through the door, Courtney is knocked down by the violent tossing of the ship.

Mike shows up at Kelly's and is very happy to see Carly is happy and healthy. Mike mentions that now that she is home, Courtney and Jason can now get married. Carly sits him down and tells him that Alcazar has Courtney now as a hostage. Mike doesn't take the news well and doesn't understand why Jason came home as well as she and Sonny. Carly is shocked when Mike blurts out that Courtney is pregnant as well. He explains that he tried to get Courtney to tell Jason but she didn't want to tell him right now with everything going on with her and that she was afraid Jason would get distracted and make a mistake. Carly tells Mike that Courtney will be o.k. and can handle Alcazar. She tells him that Alcazar won't hurt Courtney and that he was o.k. to her. She tells him that she is going to go home and tell Jason that Courtney is pregnant. Mike stops her and tells her that it is Courtney's place to tell Jason when she is ready and that she shouldn't betray Courtney like that. Carly agrees not to tell anyone about the pregnancy.

Jason follows Faith to the pier and watches from a hidden corner of the pier. Faith asks Alcazar where the drugs are. Alcazar tells her he never agreed to sell her drugs. He also asks her what she was doing going into Sonny's penthouse 10 minutes before she called him. Faith accuses him of being paranoid and tells him she left some diamond earrings at his place and that they were given to her by her late husband. Alcazar takes her word for it and demands to see what is inside the briefcase. She opens it for him and sees that the money is there and nothing else. He doesn't give her any drugs and tells her she owes him the money from last time when she bungled the other drug deal and got busted. He takes the money and she leaves. Jason comes out of his hiding spot and is about to follow Alcazar when someone knocks him over the head and he lays unconscious.

On the yacht, a storm hits and the boat starts to rock and tip from side to side. Courtney bangs on her door and asks someone to come get her out of the room. No one answers her calls for help. She looks for something to break open the door lock with. She finds a metal ruler and goes to jimmy the door lock. Lightning strikes and hits the metal ruler she is holding and gives her an electric shock. She goes flying and lays unconscious on the floor. She comes to and sees that the storm wrecked all the furniture in the room. She notices the door has flown off of its hinges and she goes through it. She calls out to see if anyone is still around the yacht but there is no sign of anyone but her. She finds a cb radio and manages to get a hold of someone but the connection is not clear and she can't understand what is being said on the other end. She gives up and looks around. She ends up falling down and passing out on the floor. She comes around again and hears a noise. She hides behind the door and listens to footsteps approach the room. She holds out a wooden stick to use as a weapon but realizes it is a coast guardsman and not Alcazar or one of his men.

Courtney is relieved when the coastguard tells her that he radioed a helicopter to land and bring her to shore. He asks her about who else was on the yacht. Courtney explains that the storm either made them jump ship or it caused them to be killed. She doesn't know where anyone is. They head on deck. The coastguard gets a message on his radio that the helicopter will be there in five minutes. Two of Alcazar's men show up and talk to the coastguard in Spanish. Courtney can't understand what they are telling the coastguard but doesn't like it and tells him that the men are dangerous and to keep them away from her. One of Alcazar's men hands the coastguard a huge wad of cash as a pay-off. The coastguard looks the other way and leaves as the men grab Courtney and take her inside. They tie her up to a chair. Courtney gets loose and manages to knock one of the guards down and run onto the deck to escape. The other guard points a gun on her and tells her to stay there and not move. Courtney looks at the water and back at him. He warns her that the water is too cold for her and that it would be suicide for her to jump overboard. Courtney goes toward him and manages to get the gun from him and use it on him. She points the gun on him and tells him to stay away from her. He notices she is looking toward the water as if she is going to jump. He tells her that Alcazar isn't going to kill her and that he will be negotiating a deal with Sonny so she can go home soon. Courtney doesn't trust him and jumps overboard anyway.

At the Penthouse, Carly pleads with Jason to leave Lorenzo for Sonny to deal with. She tells him that Lorenzo will not hurt Courtney, because he didn't hurt her and that it would be best if Jason didn't do anything since Jason and Courtney are so close to having everything they dreamed of. Jason opens the door to leave and Mac is there to get Carly's statement against Ric. As Jason leaves, Carly tells him to be careful. Courtney jumps overboard as Lorenzo's goon shoots at her. Courtney is rescued from the ocean by fishermen and is taken to a hospital. As Courtney lays unconscious, she dreams of Jason holding their daughter, telling her happy he is and how important their daughter is to him. Back on the yacht, Lorenzo questions his crew how Courtney escaped as Jason listens on. As Jason listens in, Lorenzo discovers the name of the clinic Courtney is in. Courtney wakes up at the hospital. The nurse tells her that she had a miscarriage. Courtney can't believe that she has had a miscarriage. She thinks that the nurse is working for Lorenzo. The nurses sedate Courtney to calm her down and inform her that her fiancÈ called and was on his way. Later, the nurse comes back into the room and announces that her fiancÈ was there to take her home and Lorenzo walks in. Courtney tells the nurse that Lorenzo is not her fiancÈ, but Lorenzo convinces the nurse that Courtney is bi-polar. Courtney begins to struggle and the nurse sedates her. Meanwhile, a noise outside the room catches Lorenzo's attention. He grabs a nurse and holds a gun to her head and walks out of the room to find Jason. They exchange gunshots and Lorenzo leaves. Jason sees Courtney and carries her out. The nurse begins to tell Jason that Courtney lost the baby, but tells him how lucky she is to be alive. Courtney dreams of Jason telling her that the baby is gone. She wakes up and they are on a plane back to Port Charles. Jason tells her that everything is going to be all right.

As Jason and Courtney head home on Sonny's jet, Jason is surprised when Courtney refuses to go to the hospital for a checkup as soon as they land. When Courtney and Jason arrive home, they are greeted by a festive celebration provided by Sonny and Carly. But, when Carly asks how Jason took "the big news," Courtney tells Jason that "the big news" is that Courtney wants to go ahead and reschedule their wedding. Carly hints that she spoke to Mike, but, when Sonny brings out the champagne, Carly hustles Sonny away before more questions can be asked. However, after Sonny and Carly leave, Jason tells Courtney that he believes something is troubling her. Jason apologizes for leaving Courtney behind in Alcazar's clutches, but Jason assures Courtney that Jason was convinced that Alcazar had a vested interest in keeping Courtney alive. Jason is surprised when Courtney confides that her decision to fly to South America and then to jump overboard to get out of Lorenzo's clutches were probably all the wrong decisions to make. Courtney and Jason become passionate but Courtney suddenly pulls away and tells Jason that maybe she was more frazzled by her experience than she thought. Then Courtney falls asleep in Jason's arms.

Jason wakes up Courtney when he lays down next to her and watches her. He tells her that she had nightmares last night and was talking in her sleep a lot. She asks him what she called out. He tells her that she kept talking about a baby. Courtney tells him she doesn't remember dreaming last night and tries to change the subject. Jason tells her that she has been so concerned with Carly and the baby that she probably dreamed about that last night. He asks her if she is o.k. and if Alcazar hurt her. She tells him she was fine and tries to avoid the conversation by getting out of bed and planning to make pancakes for breakfast. Jason feels shut out. Meanwhile, Carly has a wrapped present for Courtney and Jason and intends to bring it over to them right now.

Carly shows up at Jason's and tells them that Alcazar was there. Jason tells them he wants to go over and find out what Alcazar wants. He tells Carly not to answer the door unless she knows who it is first. Courtney notices the present and guesses it is a baby gift. Carly tells her that she didn't tell anyone about the baby and goes on about the pregnancy and the gift. Courtney stops her and tells her that there is no baby. She tells her about what happened and how she miscarried and blames herself for it. Carly tries to comfort her but it doesn't work. Courtney berates herself for putting her baby in jeopardy like that and not trusting that Jason would eventually find her and bring her home. Carly tells her she would have done the same in that circumstance. Carly advises her to tell Jason right away about the baby and the miscarriage and promises that he will be angry at first but he will understand and be there for her. Courtney tells her she doesn't want Jason to know about any of it and makes her promise not to tell Jason about it. Carly promises not to tell Jason but tells her that she has to go see Dr. Meadows with her as soon as possible to make sure everything is all right with her and that she can still have babies later if she wants. Courtney calls Dr. Meadows and tells her about her miscarriage and asks to see her as soon as possible. Courtney goes to leave the penthouse and Michael comes running in to hug her and tells her that now that she is home and is safe she can get pregnant and have a baby so his baby brother can have a friend.

Jason confided in Sonny before that he thinks Courtney is keeping something from him and thinks Alcazar may have hurt her. Sonny suggests that if Alcazar raped her she may have not wanted to tell him, afraid that he would somehow look at her differently. Jason takes off to go find Alcazar to confront him. When Carly mentions that she is going to make sure that Dr. Meadows checks Courtney out, Sonny mentions that is a good idea considering what happened to her. Carly asks him what he meant by that. Sonny suggests that Alcazar may have raped her. Jason shows up at Alcazar's apartment with a baseball bat in his hand. Alcazar isn't surprised to see him there. Jason asks him what he did to Courtney.

Courtney talks to Michael about babies. She tries to explain to him that babies don't come right away just because you want them. He asks her if she plans to ever have a baby. Courtney tells him someday she would like to have a baby but not right now. Michael tells her he will talk to Jason about having a baby when she tells him that both of them need to want to have a baby first. Jason asks Alcazar if he raped Courtney. Alcazar tells him he is not a rapist even if he is a killer. Jason is about to ask him more when Alcazar tells him that what happened to Courtney is her own fault when she decided to jump in the cold water and escape. Dillon comes in and interrupts them. He asks if he interrupted a hit in progress. Jason tells him to come in and shut up. Alcazar thanks him for interrupting and possibly stopping Jason from killing him. He asks him what he wants. Dillon tells him he came over to thank him for the other night and saving his life. Alcazar tells him he is welcome and asks Jason if he is planning on killing his cousin as well as him. Jason tries to continue asking him about what he did to Courtney but Alcazar tells him that he needs to ask his fiancÈe and she will clear things up with him herself. Jason tells Dillon to leave with him. He tells Dillon that he is on his own now and that he has warned him for the last time to stay away from Alcazar because he is dangerous and he will get himself killed. Dillon asks him what Alcazar did to make him want to kill him. Jason tells him that he broke something.

Carly tells Sonny that Alcazar did not rape Courtney and why he thinks he did. Sonny tells her that Jason feels that Courtney is hiding something from him and that she hasn't been herself since she returned home as if something inside of her went out like a light. Carly tells him that Alcazar did not rape Courtney and that he needs to leave Alcazar alone and that what is wrong with Courtney has nothing directly to do with Alcazar. Sonny realizes that Carly knows something and asks her how she knows that Alcazar didn't rape her. Carly pleads with him not to ask her to give up a confidence she has with Courtney. Sonny goes across the hall to talk to Courtney. He tries to get her to tell him what is wrong and asks her point-blank if Alcazar raped her. She tells him he didn't and tries to explain that her body hasn't recovered from the bad swim she had to take when she escaped the yacht. Sonny doesn't push but tells her to tell Jason soon what is really bothering her. Carly gets a call from Alcazar, who wants to meet with Sonny on the docks. She confronts him over the phone about what his real agenda is and that he doesn't really want her, he just wants to torment Sonny some more. Jason comes in and overhears her talking on the phone and hanging up. He asks her about the call. Carly explains that Alcazar is just playing more games with Sonny to make him jealous by making Sonny think he wants her for himself now. Jason tells her she needs to tell Sonny about the call and not keep it to herself. She tells him that she doesn't want Sonny getting hurt and starting a fight again with him. Sonny had already gotten a call telling him that Jason didn't end up killing Alcazar because of an interruption. Carly tells Jason that Alcazar didn't rape Courtney. Jason can't believe she is defending Alcazar after what he did to her and Courtney. Carly tells him that Courtney needs his love and his patience right now but won't tell him what happened to her. Jason gets the call from Monica to go see Emily. Carly tells Courtney and Sonny about the call from Alcazar and the call Jason got about Emily being in ICU Sonny leaves to go call Alcazar to find out what he wants. Alcazar asks him to meet him on the docks later. Sonny agrees to it. Carly asks Courtney if she told Sonny about her miscarriage. Courtney tells her he doesn't know anything and that she wants it to stay that way. Carly tries to persuade her into telling Jason everything. Courtney fears that she will lose Jason as well as the baby she just lost if she tells him. She tells her she is going to see Dr. Meadows and get examined and then go see how Jason is doing with Emily afterwards. Courtney gets examined by Dr. Meadows, who informs her that she will give her a week to heal first before having more tests done on her. Dr. Meadows leaves the room after telling her she can get dressed now. She tells the nurse to have the test done immediately and put a rush on it and that she believes Courtney has a problem.

Courtney finds Jason in the waiting area and he is surprised to see her. She tells him she decided to get checked out by a doctor as a precaution and that everything is fine with her. Jason tells her Emily is getting worse and has meningitis and could die. Courtney tells him that maybe something good could come out of this and people will realize how precious life is and change their lives. Jason is confused about what she is getting at. Courtney tells him that they should go ahead and have a baby. Jason tells Courtney that he would love to have a baby, but they should wait until after they are married. She tells him that having a family is what matters to her but Jason tells her that he will give her all of that, but wonders why now? She tells him that she has always wanted children and now that the danger is over, she wants to put all of it behind them and start their family. Alan interrupts them to inform Jason of Emily's condition. Jason leaves to go to Emily. Jason finds Monica and she tells him that she is so scared and they embrace. Jason asks how Emily is doing and if there is anything else that he can do. Monica tells him to just stay close.

Dr. Meadows tells Courtney that she ran tests and found that Courtney sustained internal injuries. Courtney may never be able to have children. Her chances of conceiving are minimal. She begins to blame herself again. Dr. Meadows suggests that she attend support groups, but she refuses to speak to strangers. She tells Courtney to tell Jason. Later, Jason is looking for Courtney, but Alan tells him that she left earlier and that she was crying. Courtney is on the phone inquiring about tickets, apparently planning to leave. Zander walks out and he begins to tell Courtney that he is just glad that Emily did not run away. He is glad that Emily had told him the truth and he wishes that he would have known sooner. Jason returns home and finds a message from Courtney on the machine saying that she is leaving and to not look for her. Courtney walks in and tells him that she has been lying to him for a long time, but it is time to tell him the truth.

Courtney tells Jason that the secret she has been hiding is not about Lorenzo. She tells him that she was pregnant when she left for South America, but she lost the baby. She tells him of when she found out that she was pregnant and that she wanted to tell him, but too many things were happening. She wanted to wait until everyone was home to tell him. She took a chance by jumping into the water and she lost the baby. Jason tells her not to blame herself. She tells him that because of this, she can't ever have children again. He asks if the doctor is sure. She tells him that there was a mistake made when she was treated in South America and that she is sorry that she is telling him this now that it is too late. She asks him if he needs time and that maybe he doesn't want to marry her anymore. Jason tells her that she needs to go somewhere with him right now and they embrace. They go for a bike ride to a spot to look at the stars. She tells him of the dreams she had of Jason holding their baby. Jason tells her to stop looking back and wishing and to just be there with him. Jason tells her that he will give her as much time as she needs and that losing something matters, but what they have left matters more.

At Jason's Penthouse, Courtney suggests that they take the day alone together to unwind from the stress of their recent escapades, but Jason insists that he has something to take care of and rushes away. Courtney goes next door to visit Carly and finds Carly admiring a baby basket that Sonny purchased for the new baby. Courtney tells Carly that Jason now knows the truth about the baby they lost and has been very supportive and understanding. Courtney asks if Carly believes that Jason has truly accepted the circumstances of the baby's death, but Carly insists that Jason and Courtney will be fine in the long run. Later, Carly finds Jason on the Docks and begs Jason not to shut down because of the recent tragedy. As Jason and Carly talk, Jason admits that he is truly mystified as to why Courtney did not tell him about the baby and Courtney overhears part of their conversation. Courtney leaves before Jason promises Carly that he is determined not to mess up his relationship with Courtney and Carly assures Jason that Courtney was not trying to run Jason's life for him in the same way that Robin tried to run Jason's life! When Jason returns home and tells Courtney that he has decided that they should be married right away, Jason is stunned when Courtney sadly tells Jason that she just could not do that right now!

Courtney tells Jason that she can't marry Jason right now because it isn't the right time for them considering what just happened to them. Jason doesn't understand her reluctance when she wanted them to get married as soon as Carly returned home safe. Courtney explains that she can't marry him when she feels that she is to blame for her miscarriage and the fact that they now can't have anymore children. Jason asks her why she is shutting him out. Courtney tells him she isn't shutting him out but that she needs time to get through this with him first. Sonny comes over and interrupts their talk. He apologizes to them for disturbing them and tells them that Carly told him about the miscarriage. He tells Jason that he is sorry for his loss as well as Courtney. He asks to speak to Jason alone. He shows him the backgammon game and explains that Alcazar sent it to Carly and he wants him to return it for him and tell him to stop sending his wife gifts or there is going to be another war. Jason tells Courtney that he has to go do something and will be back soon. Sonny offers to help her get through this rough time. He asks her what she needs from him. She explains why she didn't tell Jason about the pregnancy right away and blames herself for what has happened and feels that Jason is angry with her but won't show it. She asks Sonny if he would have forgiven Carly if she had done what she did to Jason. Sonny doesn't give her a straight answer and tells her that he isn't Jason and she isn't Carly. He advises her to give Jason time to deal with this. Courtney explains about what happened with her miscarriage and how the clinic doctors made a mistake with her treatment and that she can't have anymore children. Sonny gives her comfort.

Jason goes to the docks and pushes the backgammon game against Alcazar's throat and threatens him to back off of Carly. Alcazar's goon pulls a gun on Jason and tells him to leave Alcazar alone. Jason pulls away and warns Alcazar to leave Carly alone or there will be another war that he won't win this time. Jason throws the game into the river and leaves. He returns home to find Courtney pacing the floor waiting for his return. Jason notices something is wrong and asks her how he can help. Courtney tells him that he is the one who is shutting her out and leaving the house with not so much as a word of goodbye when he does go out. Jason tells her he had work to do and told her he would be home. Courtney asks him to stop keeping his feelings bottled up and asks him to show her his anger and hurt at her "betrayal" for not telling him about the baby sooner. Jason tells her that it was an accident and that he doesn't blame her. Courtney asks him if he can forgive her but he tells her there is nothing to forgive. Courtney gets upset and tells him that he probably can't forgive her ever and storms out of the penthouse. Jason tries to stop her but she brushes him off and leaves.

Jason goes across the hall and tells Carly he needs to talk to Sonny alone. Carly tells him she will go across the hall to check on Courtney. Jason tells her that Courtney isn't home and ran off upset. He asks Sonny what he is suppose to do now. He tells him that he loves Courtney more than ever and that he just wants to move on from where they are regardless of whether than can have a child or not. Sonny tells him to give her some space and let her think things through. Courtney heads to the pier and watches as one of Alcazar's drug dealers sells drugs to a teenager. She goes to turn around and comes face to face with one of Alcazar's men, who grabs her and points a gun on her. The other drug dealer grabs her from the other direction. She fights them off and almost gets away until Alcazar's goon knocks her over the back of the head with his gun and she lays unconscious. Dillon witnesses what happened and goes to find Jason at his place and explains what happened. Jason gets Sonny and explains what happened. Alcazar checks on the success of the drug deal. His men inform him that a woman may have witnessed a drug deal go down. Alcazar tells them to kill her. The men tell him it would be a shame to kill her since she is quite the looker. Alcazar goes over and sees that it is Courtney. Alcazar shows up just as Jason and Sonny are heading out to find Courtney. He tells them that he has Courtney.
