| The U.S.S. Reliant NCC 1864-D (started
as NCC 1864-A and has had the designation NCC 1864-C) has been in service
in Starfleet Command since August 13, 1988 and is currently the 2nd oldest
active ship in Starfleet Command. In our years of existance we have currently
had 5 Commanding Officers. Here is a brief history of those Officers. |
1)
RADM Roger Smith:
The
first commanding officer of the USS Reliant. RADM Smith went from the Reliant
to the Director of the Fleet Archives. In 1996 RADM Smith passed away and
now is on his eternal vigil and he will be missed. |
2)
ADM Jerome D. Eller:
Next
to command the Reliant was a transfer from a Klingon fan club. ADM Eller
went from the Reliant to hold several positions in Starfleet Command including
Starbase 06 Commander, Liason to the Klingon Empire, Deputy Chief of Security
and Deputy Chief of Staff. ADM Eller currently is the Chief of Staff for
Starfleet Command and is in the Headquarters Division onboard the USS Reliant. |

FCAPT William Moore:
Our
3rd
Commanding Officer. FCAPT Moore held the position with honor till outside
circumstances forced him to step down. FCAPT Moore currently holds the
position of Executive Officer on the USS Reliant. |
4)
RADM James H. McCoy II:
The
4th to command is probably the best known to come from the command chair.
RADM McCoy career started on the Reliant as the Science Officer. RADM McCoy
is a former Starbase 06 Commander & Chief of Engineering for SFC. RADM
McCoy currently serves as the Chief Engineering Officer onboard. |
5)
VADM Stephen B. Brown:
The
5th commanding officer of the USS Reliant. VADM Brown started his career
on the Reliant before taking command of the USS Grissom. Upon the USS Grissom's
decommissioning VADM Brown returned to the Reliant as its First Officer.
VADM Brown also is the Deputy Chief of Staff for Starfleet Command. |

current commanding officer of the Reliant (is back again!) was a transfer
from a Klingon fan club. ADM Eller went from the Reliant to hold several
positions in Starfleet Command including Starbase 06 Commander, Liason
to the Klingon Empire, Deputy Chief of Security and Deputy Chief of Staff.
ADM Eller also served as the Chief of Staff/Chief of Command Staff for
Starfleet Command Admiralty Board for 2.5 years. |
