Background:
John was born on Betazed, but was not there long. He spent about in total 2 years on the planet. After his 1st Birthday, his parent took assignments on deep space missions. He was able to join which allowed him to study a ship in great detail. He was allowed to take his academy entrance exams due to the fact that the Capt. at the time gave him a high standing recommendation. He had passed without too many problems.

John usually spends most of his free time on the holodeck. He is a very easy person to get a long with and always enjoys a good drink or a fair game of poker. On his job side, though, he is very serious about his work, and when he is given an assignment he will work to his every ability until absolutely proven impossible. He is reliable and trustworthy.
