VI. Lesson Focus
The focus of today's lesson is to
reinforce that God created our bodies and we should use them to
glorify Him. Here are two activities to help
reinforce this. Choose the one that best fits your class of
children. If time permits, you may choose to do both.
"Build a Christian"
Make the body part die.
Place the body parts on the table and give each child a game
board. Have the children take turns rolling the die. Whatever
picture the die lands on is the body part they take. As
they place it on their game board, have them name a way they can
glorify God with that body part. For example, if the child
rolls an ear. He would place an ear on his board and say,
"I can listen to God's word."
(Click here for patterns for the game.)
"Bible Character Books"
Give each child their Bible
Character books. Read them together as a class.
