Hiking

Raven Rock State Park
These pictures are from Raven Rock State Park. The park is located west of Lillington, NC. It's about a 45 minute drive from Raleigh. This is one of our favorite parks to go hiking in because it isn't as crowded as parks closer to Raleigh or the beach.
Little Creek Trail follows a creek that flows through rolling hills with some rocks.
This is a warning sign along the main trail to the actual rock. Raven Rock and Fish Traps trails go close to the cliffs.
Theresa and Nathan along a section of steps on Little Creek Trail in Raven Rock State Park. This trail isn't very steep, and is fairly easy.
This is a section of a trail in swampy lowlands near where Little Creek meets the Cape Fear River.
