Hiking
———————
Raven Rock State Park
More pictures from Raven Rock State Park. It's a wonderful park for hiking any time of the year.
This is a rocky section of Fish Traps trail. The name is from Native Americans who used the nearby rocky section of the river to fish.
The upper sections of the park have poor, rocky soil that moss and lichens grow on with little competition.
A more recent addition to the park was once a farm. No marked trails exist in this section, but access roads do.
This is one of the park utility buildings which may have once been a barn.
