After 4 days of diving, Yanni was now beginning to improve her buoyancy and have more control underwater although she still has some problems equalizing when descending as I did when I first started diving. For some people this is definitely one of the most difficult things to master. For Yanni it limited her to two dives per day, and her longest dive to date is 69 minutes (on an 8 litre tank)

She was also becoming excellent at spotting some creatures and after every dive we would go through (Indo-Pacific Coral Reef Field Guide - Allen & Steene) and discuss what was there.

On this dive trip I did not manage to photograph the Blue Ringed Angelfish or see a turtle, but we did find lots of interesting creatures that made Yanni enjoy her dives, which will hopefully stimulate her to continue.

The Sea and Sea housing performed well, however I am still learning digital photography, auto focus is out and manual is definitely required

The Suunto Vyper was only tried on Air mode, but apart from that, was reading slightly different from the Solution Alpha by 1°C less in temperature and about 0.7 M deeper.

Redang Bay Resort, has not changed too much in the last 6 years, the food is good Chinese home cooking and although basic is excellent and satisfying providing what a diver needs. Hopefully on my next visit I will have a chance to do some deeper dives.
