75%

I get to work again today. Yesterday we got out pretty early. And in May they're gonna start closing the store at ten.

Britney and I went to Sabarros' together for lunch so that was nice. I was in Shoes and Lingerie, so I was done early. So I just helped with abandon for a while and then got sent to Mini Seasonal, i.e. Easter candy to help zone. Other than that it was a really easy night.

Wilson's big paper is due today, so I've been helping him edit it and get it all together.

Other then that it's a beautiful day and I'm ready to spend it outside. Yay!

My Apologies

Sorry I haven't written in a week. But I've been working. Yay me.

For Easter Wilson and I went to Blackhawk to get some cheap casino food. On the way out of the restaurant though we were asked for I.D. and told that we weren't even allowed to be in there since we were 21. Oops. Oh well. Good food though. Except some guy puked all over himself. Luckily for me I didn't see it.

On Saturday I had to work. We didn't get out of there until two a.m.! We had to fix all the Easter stuff that had gotten messed up throughout the day.

Today I worked with Joan doing some more Easter stuff. All of it went on clearance, so we moved alot of stuff around and condensed so some new things could go in there. We put the new stuff in too. And then did a lot of abandons too. But the time went by pretty quickly.

Wilson and I went to the library. Nothing exciting happened though. Other than PSYCHO BOOK OF DOOOOM! Just kidding. Love Gretel

Workin'

This weekend was pretty much taken up with work. Mom and the girls stopped by on Friday before heading back to the land of ice and snow.

That night we got some crazy freak weather. Thunder, lightning and snow; all at the same time. It was psycho!

Let's see, so Target update...

I worked Lingerie and Infants myself. I was "Marsha." I got done early, so then I got sent around to different places. We got out pretty early.

On Saturday I got sent to Hardlines. I was Marsha agian. I had Automotive, Notions, Home Improvement, Seasonal, and other stuff with Carrie. But I got sent to Lingerie again.

Yesterday I was in Plastics, Pets and Baby all myself. That was okay. Except I got yelled at for not bringing my abandon up soon enough. After close I put most of the abandon away for all the hardline on green side. Oh yeah; and I was "Marilyn" I still don't have a nametag.

So now I'm just waiting around for six so I can go to work again. Yahoo.

Mountains

Okay, well since my last update I went up to the base of Green mountain, if you can truly call that a base. Or a mountain.

Anyway, once it started getting too cold I headed back to the city.

Tonight was O'Malley's Alley, which is the lip synch contest at CCU. I went to that with Wilson and ran into Lacey. So I chatted with her for a while.

But anyway, I just wanted to check my e-mail quick.

So Night, gotta work tomorrow afternoon til evening.

Sighs

Well I tried to update this yesterday but unfortunately Ricochet decided to take that moment to die on me. :'(

So I'll just update in bullet form for the sake of being fancy and lazy at the same time.

Monday:

  1. Rollerbladed around park
  2. Thought helicopter was shooting out weird things, turns out they were birds
  3. Read under a tree
  4. Watched man w/ a dozen puppies
  5. Read some more
  6. Got whistled at by some boys in a fancy car
  7. Read some more
  8. Got up and headed to my car
  9. Was approached by some sweaty old creepy Mexicanish guy, who started talking to me, inquiring how often I came to the park, etc.
  10. Interrupted by a call from Wilson
  11. Told Wilson I'd "meet him in ten minutes"
  12. Made my goodbyes to "Dave" and sped out of there
  13. Read some more
  14. Went to bed
Tuesday:

  1. Waited around til 4:30 to go to work
  2. Went to library to check mail, ended up going to Robin's B-day celebration and I got some cake and talked to Justin about life in general
  3. Went to work and became "Sophia"
  4. Started out putting abandon away
  5. Learned about the Jewerly counter
  6. Worked w/ Pat in Girls, Lingerie, and Accessories (So, yes, I now know where the old granny underwear is. . .)
  7. Had to help in Frozen after close, and that's what I became, frozen
Today:

  1. Went to Chapel with Wilson
  2. Drove Matt to get some lunch
  3. And now I sit here typing typing typing, having checked up on my e-mail, and trying to decide what to do about them.

Work and Family

So let's see. Saturday was mostly spent just waiting to go to work. I messed around on the computer awhile, but it was too cool to do anything outside.

Later that afternoon, I made it to Target and became "Daisy" for the evening. My GSTL brought me over to the Ready-To-Wear section a.k.a. Women's clothes, and I learned how to take care of that section. I was supposed to be done at midnight that night, but it ended up being one before we were let out of there. Hmph.

On Sunday my sisters and my mom came out to visit me. :) :) :) Wilson and I went shopping at Target, where I surveyed all my hard work from the night before. I also found some presents for my sisters.

We then went to the library and found a lot of movies. I got some books too. I'm preparing to torture myself with more books from the author of Spellfire. Why do this to myself? Despite loathing every sappy minute of the first book, I STILL want to know how it ends, now that EVERY STINKING WIZARD IN THE LAND is after them. Sigh.

Mom and the girls got there shortly after we did. And it was snowing. For Rachel, it was sunflaking. Or was it snowshine. . . Whatever the case I now understand.

We went to Olive Garden for dinner. Mmm Mmm Good. We went to Wilson's after to introduce the girl's to MarioKart and Smash Bros. Fun times. Fun times. Then it was back to the apartment to sleep the night away.

This morning Mom got us some breakfast at KingSoopers and we had some cake to celebrate Chantel's 14th birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHANTELLIO!

They set off for Utah. I set off for Wilson's to help him edit his paper. And now I'm at school. And soon I'll be at the park, reading and sunning the day away. Mmmmmm, Delicious.

Let's Go Fly a Kite

It was another beautiful day in Denver. The sun was shining, the wind was blowing. And Wilson and I decided to fly our Dollar Store kites. Such fun to be had for a half a dollar. :D

Anyway, the kites worked great. Wilson had to go to a meeting. So I mangaged to get both kites up myself. It was a challenge. And sometimes it didn't always work, but it was great fun.

That's what we did most of the afternoon.

Then we went to King Soopers and stocked up on supplies for the night.

Anyway; late night of workin' tommorrow. And my family is in the state. Yay!

Workin' Girl

Today was my first day at Target. So I got Wilson ready for school, and shipped him off, and then I went to work ;).

I had to find some red and khaki to wear. I think I could wear this pants all the time, but I need to find some red shirts, other than the one I have.

So I learned how to cashier. It was pretty cool. It got kinda stressful at times, cuz there'd be all these people in your lane. And it rates a G or an R for how fast you went if it's an r then you did really bad :(....

But it was fun. I have to work next on Saturday for 4:30-midnight :'(... And I'll be training for my actual Sales Floor position.

Maybe Wilson will make me dinner tonight. Since I work hard for the money... (sings)

Yippee.

Happy Birthday to CAMILLE!

Today was pretty low key. I didn't have much to do. I tried to persuade Wilson to go to class, but he didn't. So we got some food and eat it by the park. Then it was raining. But it was still nice out.

We made chicken wings tonight. So we walked down to King Soopers, in which nothing eventful happened.

Wilson decided to make beef jerky, so we got stuff for that too.

I made Wilson cut up the meat, cuz I didn't really feel like doing that myself. I don't know it just grossed me out today. I just ate some bread w/ Nutella. It's all my stomach wants today.

We started watching Underworld until it was time to flip the chicken, and then we came back here so I could blog and catch up on my e-mail and stuff.

Tomorrow I work. So hopefully it's rainy again.

Hola

So today was pretty low key and relaxed. Wilson decided to skip chapel and his class, so we went up to Lookout to enjoy the beautiful mountain weather.

It was a nice drive and we hiked aways back there. It was very pretty and some flowers were starting to bloom. Wilson amused himself by kicking/ throwing rocks off the edge. (Okay, I kicked some too, but then I tired of the game.)

At five I had training at Target and I will have more on Thursday. Yippee. Now I'm pretty hyper, so maybe I can persuade Wilson to go do something active.
