Training for my year of teaching actually lasted somewhere in the neighborhood of five weeks (though for some reason I only have three weeks of photo-documentation). The training and team-formation process took place on the campus of William Carey International University, in Pasadena, California. At training, we met our future teammates, attended sessions dedicated to everything from TESOL to culture shock, and generally had every minute of our day scheduled. Though it was at times exhausting, training was generally a positive experience.
