·               Reduced manpower requirements 60% to change out paint racks, by utilizing redesigned equipment.

·               Analyzed defects with improved paint inspection sheet to track molded hoods by serial numbers.

·               Categorized step-by-step process of paint line jobs, while continuing to update requirements.

·                     Managed 7 full-time and 5 part time employees in two-year-old value added Ag business.

·                    Coordinated construction of $750,000 Bean handling storage system.

·                    Generated 26% more beans for processing than previous year.

·                     Designed Cost of Production form, first time Board of Directors understood actual costs.

·                    Reduced company health insurance costs 45%, improved coverage, reduced employee out of pocket costs 65%.

·                     P&L responsibility for multi-million dollar diversified Cooperative.

·                     Controlled expenses and increased margins:

-   Turnaround in first year of $93,000 improvement.

-    Record bulk fertilizer tonnage, 1993, 10% over all time best year.  Increased petroleum sales 5%.

·                    Collected 80% of $57,000 bad debt write-off of previous management, in first year.

·                     Directed operations through major merger studies.

·                    Wrote and published quarterly Cooperative newsletter.

·                    Updated and modernized company facilities, vehicles, and equipment.

·                     Provided continual training of employees, including Hazmat, safety and cross training.

·                     Secured SBA Economic Recovery Loan, 1993.

·                    Instituted advance interest pay program for patrons, cutting company borrowing rate one percentage point.
