The cockpit has room for only one person- the pilot. However, it is designed with enough space for operating the aircraft efficiently and in comfort. The controls mimic the original World War II design with modern reliability added. The original complicated configuration of the "look back" windows was also replicated to maintain the styling of a P-40. The flight instruments will be modern and more reliable, but will look as close to original as possible. The safety seat and other items have yet to be installed in this work in progress.
