General outline of a dive here is dependent on who is diving as this site is also used for OW students and guests at the Atlantis Hotel.

The Dive shop is usually open by 08:00 and all going well you will be on the boat and heading out by 09:00. The only two trips that I have made on this site I was in the water at 09:51 and 09:44 according to my computer. I have always done a minimum 60 minute dive, although I have to point out that the tanks at Atlantis only contain 180 bar.

There is a lot of fish life on the wreckage, and on my first dive we saw a sea snake. A very large grouper has also taken up residence here, and there are plenty of fish around to keep everyone happy, even small shoal of barracuda were hanging around when I was first to descend on my most recent dive.

Anybody who knows me of course will realise that my main passion for diving here is to find nudibranchs (why am I am I called Sharky then?)

To date I have only found one species here Chromodoris cazae named after Carole Harris who discovered this creature many years ago on the Port Rashid wrecks.

There are also lots of macro subjects such as flatworms and heaps of blennies to keep any photographer busy.
