Life's Lessons
1. I'm learning that the reason there are so many fools in the world, is because anyone can be one.
2. I'm learning that admission to my weaknesses is a tremendous gift and strength.
3. I'm learning that peace and sin (however profound or subtle) cannot co-exist, and that God has had a plan and purpose for my life despite my stubbornness.
4. I'm learning that I should practice my faith, and never again merely perform it
5. I'm learning that simple honesty makes life less complex.
6. I'm learning more each day that I need God much more than He needs me.
7. I'm learning that I cannot give what I do not have.
8. I'm learning that love is a verb, not a noun.
9. I'm learning that quitting just isn't an option.
10. I'm learning that poor judgment will never make anyone rich.
11. I'm learning that God is more than willing to give me a second chance,each time I'm willing to take it.
12. I'm learning that it is better to be a late bloomer than to never bloom at all.
13. I'm learning that that the world doesn't have to dictate my actions, and that my actions can positively change my life and the lives of those I come in contact with daily.
14. I'm learning that if I've learned from losing, never to perceive it as a loss.
15. I'm learning that each time I start believing in luck, I am simply out of it.
16. I'm learning that misery loves company and that I no longer have to keep it.
17. I'm learning that I have the choice to lean on my own understanding and remain confused and restless, or that I can lean solely on a faith that never fails nor confuses.
18. I'm learning that when I have one foot in yesterday and another in tomorrow, I can't possibly stand today.
19. I'm learning that overcoming fear is as easy as taking action in spite of it.
20. I'm learning that what I fear the most, is precisely what God intends for me to fear the least.
21. I'm learning that I am far better off when I use things and love people and never the other way around.
22. I'm learning that my past is past and that God is more concerned about my future.
23. I'm learning that there is a vast difference between feeling like a failure, and actually being one.
24. I'm learning that if there was a secret to success, there would be far fewer successful people.
25. I'm learning that people come and go, but friends come and then stay awhile.
26. I'm learning that confidence is merely the by-product of humility.
27. I'm learning that those who constantly complain about their circumstances, appear to constantly remain in them.
28. I'm learning that I'll never stop learning unless I choose to do so!
