Behind is a specatcular view. The Satluj flows at 5020' or 1530 m and behind it towers Himalayan peaks. The highest one is Jorkanden 21240' or 6474 m. An unimpeded view of about 5000 m. By this point the Himalaya have been crossed and one is in the folds of the Zanskar Range to its North.
