Over the last four years, many women from all over the South have come together
to form a web ring that has not only continued but has grown significantly. These women were not only promoting a web ring, they were
building friendships that were forged and bonded through long hours spent together; planning, designing and implementing activities,
talking and laughing together, perhaps crying and processing personal issues. We all know that our online friendships are just as important,
just as close as "real life" relationships. And just as in real life friendships, sometimes issues arise that we can't resolve or for whatever reason,
we drift apart. Then just as in real life something happens that triggers a memory,
and before you know it, you're flooded with a tidal wave of warm wonderful memories. You allow yourself a few
moments of reminiscence. You wonder where that special person is. What are they doing now?
Are they well? Are they happy? You smile because for a few minutes, you were reliving a special memory and it feels good.
Your heart and soul are lightened. You think, "I should write to her and let her know how special she is to me and how much
I miss the friendship we shared."
We have located and linked together a host of wonderful memories from Southern Women's past. As you stroll through
these links, allow the good memories to wash over you and if you feel so inclined, use those email addresses that were
once so much a part of your life.
Together, let's take a stroll down Southern Women's Memory Lane.

"Change is part of life! Imagination is knowledge... with
imagination - knowledge is attainable and all is possible... be it in the professional or personal arena.
Move forward! Be open to new ideas! Seek knowledge! Explore with imagination!"
Burke
"All things Florida, from a native point of view."
Louise
"A touch of everything Southern...with a good dose of that famous Southern Hospitality!!"
Pam
"Elvis is dead, I'm pretty darn sure of it now! I held hope that he was in fact just 'undercover',
possibly living in a quaint little town somewhere in Tennessee or Las Vegas. I had this huge scenario
in my mind that in the year 2000, he was going to come out of hiding and do a HUGE concert on the
White House Lawn! But it ain't gonna happen!"
Suney
Where would we be without Mag? Mag keeps us informed. She's the hub of our web ring.
She produces, edits and delivers our weekly edition of Southern Bits as regular as clockwork. Through her dedication, we
can keep up with what's happening in the ring, as well as news from our sisters. A Saturday morning without Mag and
the latest edition of "bits" would be like Christmas without Santa.
