Basic Serve Instructions

* rise from the furs and beg to approach the Master or Mistress intended for the serve.

* kneel before Him or Her in either tower or nadu depending on which applies to you and ask how you may be of service

* reply "yes Master" or "yes Mistress" and rise slowly before backing away three paces and then turning to the serving area

Note: if you are declined, return to the furs in the same fashion or offer service to another Master or Mistress

* follow instructions from the food and drink page in preparing the requested food or drink. make your posts come alive with descriptions of color, body movement, scents, and sounds. Remember to check the rim of the goblet, mug or bowl against a soft patch of skin i.e: belly, wrist, thigh, neck etc.

NOTE: "checks the rim with his/her eyes/fingertips" is NOT acceptable unless instructed to check in such a way.

*If the rim is found flawless, polish the vessel inside and out with a rep cloth to remove dust.

NOTE: Using your hair is not neccesary and doesn't sound very appealing. for you, a kajira/kajirus with dusty hair? ...ew. Besides, this causes hair to be found floating in the drink or food...hungry/thirsty now? a girl thinks not.

* return from the servery into the main hall pausing three paces from the Master or Mistress's furs and beg to approach

* kneel before Him or Her in the same fashion as when you first came to Them. if serving a drink drag the vessel from your belly to your heart and let it rest there for three heartbeats. do the same if bringing a bowl or plate of food

Note: Kissing the rim of the vessel is an optional practice usually only done after permission is asked unless you know otherwise (for example, if you are personally ko'lared and have served your Master or Mistress in such a way before)

* offer the item up saying something along the lines of: "Master/Mistress a boy/girl brings You in hopes it pleases You this day and hopes a boy/girl has been pleasing in his/her serve"

* lower hands to thighs in correct position depending on how you are kneeling and wait for futher command. If released to the furs, rise and back away returning to them to kneel and wait until your service is needed, or see to other Free not yet served in the Home.

A WARNING
For all you so-called gorean slaves out there who think that because you are female you should only serve, or put effort only into serving FM, or that because you are male you only serve, or put effort into serving FW this is not a place for that kind of mentality. If you are not willing to be a full slave to all Free, you are advised not to enter. Another issue is the girls or boys that come in and act overly slutty to a FM or FW that either already has a FC or slave present to take care of Their needs.Slave behavior is to be enticing, flirtacious, sensual but not crude. your motivation should not be getting into the furs but instead pleasing Those you serve so that They want you in Thier chambers.
