ORIGIN:
The Netherlands (That's in Europe, also known as Holland) My parents moved around a lot, because my father was a pipeline engineer. My first language was Portuguese thanks to 2½ years spent all over Argentina and Brazil. I remember riding the Gondolas and seeing the Christ statue in Rio and seeing penguins at the Southern tip of Argentina. I travelled to three continents by the age of 6. I also lived on an island off the coast of Copenhagen in Denmark. It was a great experience. I'm thankful that I was able to see and do so much as such a young age.
Since moving to the States at the age of 5-6, I've spent most of my time in the "South". 1st-7th grade were spent in a tiny backwater town in Southern Mississippi before moving to Memphis in 1985-1986. Between then and 1992, I spent time back and forth between Memphis and Houston, where my father was. I moved to Covington(about 45 miles north of Memphis) in January of 1999 to get out of Memphis. I've been here with my kids ever since.
INTERESTS:
Reading, writing, all types of art, digital photo editing, HTML, music, science, math, anything interesting that catches my attention.
