page. The design is basic in
that the job searcher is instantly opened to the main page which allows
you to search for a job based off of Job Function, Company Type,
Company, Location, and/or Keyword. After
the user submits their search criteria, they are then displayed the
search results on another page. The
above information is then listed in the results along with a link to the
details of the position. When
you click the “details” link, you are then shown the full detail of
the position. For example,
the experience needed, how and where to respond.
An additional format feature that was useful was the search
criteria are listed above the search results or the search result page.
This could allow a job searcher to easily reconfigure their

Dailyplan-it.net/Event_planning_jobs.htm lists hyperlinks to a variety of employers who hire Event and Meeting planners. The links and description are then posted on this page and a job search can then access their page directly. The format of the website is very straight forward. The company names/Website name, description information contained at the link, and the hyperlink itself are all listed on the main page. SpecialEventSite.com SpecialEventSite.com is a very useable website.
By useable I mean it allows a job searcher to access the website
and search for open positions, very easily.
There is no registration required search for jobs.
This eliminates the confusion often associated with usernames and
passwords. It also
eliminates the confusion associated with forgetting passwords.
The straight forward searching schema allows the user to easily
search for jobs without the inconvenience of advanced searching that

easy website to operate. The
straight forward presence allows the job searcher to look and query,
potential jobs, by sight. There
are no unnecessary links that can lead job searches to pages that do not
exist. Also, there is no
search engine. Although this
page lacks functionality, it makes up for it with its ease of usability. Marketing:

search engine. Currently,
the site contains very few job postings or listings.
The only marketing that I saw for the site was searching through
Google with the keywords “Event Planning Jobs”.
Dailyplan-it.net/Event_planning_jobs.htm Dailyplan-it.net/Event_planning_jobs.htm was an easy website to locate. It was found on Yahoo by searching keywords “Event Planning Jobs”. I saw no other marketing for this website. Employer
Access: SpecialEventSite.com SpecialEventSite.com allows employers to post jobs
on their website. This is
done through a link on the main page entitled “Submit an Employee
Listing”. Once clicked,
the employer is then required to fill out basic information (i.e.
Username, Password, and Company Information).
The employer is then asked job related information and the job is
posted. There is no charge

visible employer access.
