2. Come up with a Character Name If you're having trouble deciding on a character, we recommend you use Behind the Name, of you can simply ask us for any advice.
3. Fill out a Character Sheet And here we get to the real meat of the roleplay - your character. Please put thought into your character sheet! Show us you care enough about roleplaying here to put effort into the character you first present to the board. You can learn more about how to create a character from these links, which I strongly encourage you to read through before you post your character sheet.

4. Develop a short writing sample At J:tFF we look for quality writers, and, as such, we ask that every potential member prepare a writing sample. We will be looking at your abilities in basic grammar and spelling.
5. Post your Character Sheet, writing sample and wait for approval
The Mods can be busy people, and approval can take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours. It can take even longer if you haven't read the rules, so please be sure to do that before filling out a character sheet and developing a writing sample. While you are waiting for approval, it's always a good idea to review the rules again, as well as interacting with members via the out of character areas of the message board.
