Oct/Nov 2002 – After a full day in Canyonlands
& a watch of the World Series it was off to the west.I wanted to take the scenic route not
knowing where I would end up in the evening.So many beautiful sights along the way!Stopped at Capital Reef and did a little exploring (pics
1-2).Continued on to Bryce Canyon
where I awoke to a glorious sunrise illuminating the Bryce Amphitheater (pics
3-6).Later that morning I ended up
in Grande Staircase Escalante National Monument at Calf Creek Falls (pic
7).Finished the day down
Hole-in-the-Rock Road & Peek-A-Boo gulch (slot canyon – pic 8).
