Arches & Canyonlands

Oct/Nov 2002 – Well I accepted a job with Washington Mutual, and within an hour I was heading south to Utah…Canyon Country!  Had to fit what was gonna be a month long trip into a week.  Oh yes, it can be done.  Began the trip in Moab, UT and nearby Manti-LaSal National Forest & Arches National Park (pics 1-5).  Followed up a day-and-a-half among the arches with a full day in Canyonlands National Park.  Nearly 17 miles of hiking among spires (rock columns), wide-open prairies, slot canyons, & arches.  My pictures can’t do the day justice (that’s why there are only 2)!
