| Conspiracy #1 Date discovered : 6/1/02 My class and I went downtown to visit the police station, bank, library, and city hall. One really weird thing is that we didn't go to the post office, which is right near everything else, and it's the place classes tend to go. But that's not the real story. First we went to the bank. I was quite mad they didn't give us lollypops, but I snuck one on the way out. Anyway, while at the bank, I noticed that there were many ugly, morbid pictures of birds attacking other animals. It was strange. I remember seeing at least 3. I got over it and we went to the Library. I had fun at the library and was very excited to learn we have those cool things that you can look through about old Newspapers and stuff. It was like, "fish" something. Anyhow, I didn't look too hard, but nothing really weird. But one thing at the Library that was funny, was that we went into a fairly secluded area, kind of hard to find. It's nice and has sofas and stuff. When we all sat down, the librarian asked if anyone had been here before. I said quite loudly, "YES!", remembering the time me and Elysia and Brendan sat on the sofas and called people on my mom's cell phone. The librarian then explained that people often went there to make out, and you could tell because there was a huge, and fairly obvious security camera in the corner. My eyes widened, wishing I hadn't said anything. Hopefully tomorrow there won't be any strange rumors spreading around school. Anyway, we continued to the police station. It was so cool! They showed us the 911 machines, the police motorcycles and stuff, and the cells where they put people, including the pole they hook people to. One even had a pair of cuffs on it!! He told us step by step what happens, and told us all the juicy stuff. But I also noticed on a nearby wall, a picture of birds attacking animals, just like the ones at the bank. They were exactly the same, and just as ugly and weird. Before I could think, we were whisked away into City Hall, and into the mayor’s office. As they mayor talked, I looked around the room. I noticed two of my teachers flirting with the mayor. It was obvious, because they were giving him the biggest love eyes EVER! It couldn't be more obvious. Both of them. I don't see them much because they are just helping teachers, but man! Anyway, I looked up on the wall and practically fell out of my seat. There, hanging in the center of the room, was a huge picture of a Bald Eagle killing a stingray, the same kind in the other places. I signaled to Elysia and she started to laugh. I almost yelled to the mayor, "Excuse me sir, why is that weird picture on the wall?" but then I realized that'd be stupid. So the mystery remains. Why were those bird pictures there? I'm without a doubt they were the same. Elysia said that on them it said they were from Tennessee. Do people from Tennessee have no brains and no art technique?(no offense to people from Tennessee. I wouldn't know, I've never been) Does my town have a secret alliance with them? Anyone with brains would see these pictures strange and ugly. Maybe if I looked harder, I would have seen pictures in the Library. Who knows? The mystery remains. But, the truth is out there....   Conspiracy #2Date discovered: 7-04-02 I was sitting on the couch on a scorching summer day, while my Gramps was watching tennis (he was visiting). I was licking the bowl for the last taste of chocolate ice cream when I heard him say something about the match. I threw the ice cream bowl to the ground (well, no, not really) and exclaimed, "Did you just say Krycek?" He had. A man by the name of Krycek was playing in Wimbledon, and he hopes Krycek would win, although it looked doubtful. "No!!" I cried out, "Krycek is a bad dude from the X-Files! He tried to kill Mulder! He's evil!!". Gramps just smiled and looked at me like I was a nut. I watched the match patiently, and the names appeared on the screen. I was relieved to find that this Krycek's name was spelled Krajick. I was also satisfied to hear his first name was Richard and not Alex. I also was happy to hear he was from the Netherlands. With this information, I decided I would root for the mysterious Krycek-guy-name-spelled-strangley. Sadly, he lost, but I'm sure he'll win something else very important. |
