Megaman X was the result of 
Dr. Wily's constant attacks.
Dr. Light decidied to create a more
 advanced Megaman. Advanced
with the X-Buster 
increased speed, and a
 power that no one else
has ever seen. One of his 
unique abilities,
 the ability to make his own 
decisions. An enhanced prototype AI. 
Dr. Light found it to be unstable
and encased him in a capsule that 
would test all of his functions. But the
tests would take 30 years to complete and
 Dr. Light wasn't young enough
to last that long. So a warning was embedded
 in case anyone would find him.

Some time in the future before 30 years. 
Dr. Cain found X and ignoring
the warnings, released him before his time. 
X has battled a number of foes 
including his arch enemy, Sigma. With his closest
 friend and partner Zero, they
both dedicate their time
 to rid the world of Mavericks.
