When you join Neopian Fortress, you are automatically placed as a Trainee. You will have to work your way up through the ranks. If you choose to pay np to update your ranks, you must do it rank by rank. Not just donate to go to the highest level. If you do choose to gain rank by paying np, please neomail theneopianfortress after paying and tell us so we can update you.
Ranks in order from highest to lowest:
King or Queen Prince or Princess Secretary
Treasurer
Spokesperson
Sub-Council
Helper
Master
Apprentice
Newcomer
Ways to promote/help the guild:
Donate to the guild
Refer new members to the guild
Post msgs on the guild msg board regularly
Help to answer questions posted in the message board
Try to help around and offer help when other members need it
Take part in the guild's contests and programmes
Be active
Write articles for the guild newsletter
Contribute artworks/banners/graphics etc to the guild
Think of ideas and suggestions to improve the guild
Interact with the other guild members
Greet new members who had just joined the guild
Help the newbies
Have our guild banner in your shop
Get a job in the guild

Able to take on many jobs at the same time

Friendly and approachable
Greet new members who have just joined the guild
Help the newbies
Have our guild banner in your shop
Sub Leader:
You have to be active in the guild
Post messages on the guild message board regularly
Donate to the guild regularly
Refer new members to the guild regularly
Answer questions on the guild message board regularly
Responsible
Able to take on many jobs at the same time

Contribute in one way or another
Greet new members who have just joined the guild

Helper:

Posted at least 50 messages.

Been in the guild for at least 2 months

Have our guild banner in your shop
OR
Master:
You have to be active in the guild
Post msgs on the guild msg board whenever you can
Posted at least 25 messages.
Donate to the guild
Refer new members to the guild
Been in the guild for at least 1 month
Contribute in one way or another
Help the newbies
Have our guild banner in your shop
OR
Apprentice:
Been in the guild for at least 1 week
Newcomer:
No requirements (You are automatically at this rank upon joining NF)
After one week you are automatically promoted to Apprentice
Important!!
If you work hard, you will get promoted.
You must have our guild banner in your shop if you want to be promoted. This is a MUST!!
There is also a chance for you to be demoted if you are not keeping to the standards of your rank. This applies to everyone including council members.
