Project Management其實都唔差，只不過現在的部門太多politics和上司有D狂燥症，日日都很'勞噪'，個個都怕了他~~剛巧見到internal一份post是請administrating/enhancing website，想轉換下環境吧~~

Project Management 唔好 meh?
做 Programmer 好難做足一世的, 就算係做 Programmer, 做到咁上下, 你都係要寫 Document 的. 所以嗎? 我都俾唔到什麼意見呢.
至於 website development 的話, 就好睇做到什麼公司呢, 如果係 Internal Support 的話, 公司大的都應該無所謂. 但係如果係o的 Web House, 會好辛苦的. 有個朋友就晚晚做到 10 點 11 點. |

我畢業後第一份工是做programmer，原本想在IT發展，但現在變了做project management，整天在寫documents。我想 Website development/supporting 的前途都應該幾好掛？現在轉field希望還趕得上啦~~您都是做這行，前途好嗎？有什麼意見給我？ |

唔，原來有兩個解法的．電腦實在係太多名稱一樣了．就好似 ASP 咁，Programming 裡叫 Active Server Page，公司的話叫 Application Services Provider. 好似仲有的．總知就係好煩．
VBA Script 就同 ASP 好似，因為都係 VB 的 subset，唔同的是，VBA 係用在 Windows Application 上，ASP 就係 Web 上．我之前都係寫 ASP 嫁．你睇這一個網就知：）
至於 Java，只要有 Class 的 Concept 應該無問題的．

But your job previously is not web development? You are good at VB, C, C++? Java is an object-oriented programming, having the knowledge in this area will help to learn Java. In my mind, knowing one programming language, and to learn other will be easier.
Web Service is a technology that enable different company to communicate through the http interface with XML, or in short the SOAP. A good open standard to communicate actually because of the use of XML.
A few days ago, a person askes me about the "Prolog" which is an AI language. It's too bad that I have already forgotten it. 原來唔用的東西係真係會唔記得的. |

Sorry, I was busy with my homework in past few days and so no time to reply you.
Yes, many people talking about Web Services as they want to earn money through online business. But if you want to sell products online, you need to sort out the delivery channel and cost.
Some subjects in my course cover the concept of public key infrastructure, SSL, hashing, message digest, data encryption standard such as triple DES, etc.
Normally, this master will last for 2.5 years if you take 2 subject per semester. However, I have taken one subject only in one of the semesters and thus I need 3 years!
In my mind, you are a website developer, right? I have applied an internal job for building and enhancing website, don't know successfully or not but I don't know how to write Java program, do you think it is easy to learn or not?

我今天請了假在家做功課，所以有時間上來~~
完了今個semester我已經讀了兩年啦！我讀的master有兩個streams, for technical or executive。我讀的是for executive, 所以無program寫，concept多D，如有basic technologies on Internet,e-marketing,e-business strategy,Internet law,HTML,XML,WAP...，都幾新鮮~~下個semester可能有multi-media讀，玩下flash都唔錯呀!
不過越來越少人報讀，攪到上堂要撈埋technical stream and MIS 的好同學一齊上~~變成比多較technical~~ |

好慘，星期五個日個硬碟無啦啦『得得』聲．每一次入 System 時都『得得』下咁入去．我深知這一下出問題啦！
星期六朝早，即時想將整隻硬碟 抄 去第二度．誰不知，每 Read 一下就『得』幾下．．．．連 System 都入唔到了．
估唔到咁就玩完，什麼都無了！什麼都無了！正在想要裝回幾多的 Softwares 就頭都大．唉．．．
好彩，到最後我記得起我之前 Backup 左個 System 去第二度呢．雖然係 2003 年 11 月版本，但係都好過由頭再來．
所以嗎！記住 Backup 你的東西．佢話死就死了．
之前其實我一路想 Backup 個 System，因為都 update 左好多ｏ野．無奈無錢的關係，什麼都做唔到呢． |
