      In present no country can deny the importance of means of communication. After the WORLD WAR II, the airway was introduced in the sub-continent. In the beginning only special class of people used to utilize this service but with the passage of time it become available to the ordinary people of Pakistan, at the time of establishment of Pakistan, there were only one or two airways compines. Company M/s Pak Air Limited and M/s Crescent Airways were functioning, but with the passage of time their standard goes down and the government canceled them since then the Pakistan Airways Company has been running successfully.
      The PIA fleet covers 80 destinations in 46 countries spread over four continents. Its international network extends from Tokyo to New York, serving South East Asia, South Asia, Middle East, and Europe. PIA flights are also operating to Tashkent, Almay, Baku, and Ashkabad in the Central Asian regions.
      Pakistan international Airlines is operating to 38 domestic destinations.
