The "Airaholics" was formed in Port
Alberni, BC in 1996 by Tyler Ruks. At that time the Airaholics
were all about BMX jumping. The first members were:
- Tyler Ruks
- TJ Fisher
- Sam Ross
- Mike Arbanas
- Luke Maedel
Three years later, after Tyler and
TJ both left Port Alberni, the Airaholics became a Motocross
group. Luke Maedel and Mike Arbanas both began racing Motocross in
1999. Bryce Aspell and Davin Aspell soon became members of the
Airaholics. And those are the four founding members of the
Airaholics.
