music and lyrics by Tom McGrath
When I think back on how it all started
It was me and a girl in the back of a car,
But now she's gone and our lives have been parted,
And now I can't go very far.
She lived about a block from a convict
Who liked staring at pictures of nude little girls
We watched him come home, she made me a sandwich,
And then we took her car for a whirl.
But now she can't drive me wild like she did
She's gone, she's gone far away
And I owe her for gas
But I think I'll just laugh
Cause I don't think that I'll ever pay
Christina with a "K".
When I met her she was living in Kansas
With a dog in a basket and an Auntie named Em.
She wouldn't talk to me cause I was a munchkin
Who was 14 years-old, but I looked like I was 10.
She went to a school for the ladies,
So she was sexually deprived and she was sexually repressed.
And the only boys she knew were all crazy
Cause they had a habit of watching eachother get undressed.
But I guess that I'm partially to blame
For giving into that kind of play.
But if you give me a chance,
I'd let you teach me to dance
And I'd let you take me all the way
Christina with a "K".
Now I'm stuck in this rut that I dug
And I don't think that I'll get away
If you only knew how you moved me
My Christina with a "K"
I sit at home by myself
And I think about her and I think about the past.
How she'd warm me up in the morning
And how I'd get all up inside that White Trash.
Now I'm home every Saturday night,
Cause the choices I've made make me stay.
And I try to get by
But I can't tell a lie,
I think about her everyday
Christina with a...
OK so I lied; I guess I'll get by,
But that doesn't mean I'll be okay,
Cause without her I'm done
Until I find someone,
Who will love me enough to always stay
Christina with a "K".
