Related Pages: The Songs Every Wednesday night in the city of Bristol it is sports night (well for all the students from the University of Bristol anyway). Sport's night involves on most peoples parts (if you want to that is), the drinking of vast quantity's of alcohol and in general having a good time. The 2002 - 2003 sports night procedure goes something like this: Henry J Beans
We meet in Henry J. Beans at 7.30 wearing social tops and then the fun begins. Drinking games as well as the required songs get going quickly (hint hint it is useful to know the songs!), and so far this year we have had the DJ making us all get up and dance on our chairs - slightly entertaining with a couple of Jugs of cocktail inside you, as well as some interesting appearances from large groups of men, some of them very scantily clad! The Epi. Once Rack's had suffered enough of the UBLHC, it was a quick stumble up the road to the Union, the scrabble in your wallet to find you student card and the the 3 flights of stairs up to the Epi (the lift is guaranteed to be full or well just not working!). The Epi is the point where all the various clubs meet before moving on to wediges, which means that each club has to out compete the other in may disciplines! In general the UBLHC focus on beating the UBMHC (men's hockey club) in our favorite discipline, (outside of hockey and drinking) very loud singing!!! By 10:30 tickets to wedgies have been purchased, lost, re-purchased,
found, and resold a number of times, so that upon leaving the Epi everyone (well
we all try) has a ticket, and then it is down to the Wedge.

( To find out more about wedgies go to www.wedgies.co.uk) Wedgies at Evolution is where any self respecting hockey girl goes on a Wednesday night to dance the night away to good old cheesy classic provided by Mr. Wedge. Once you are in you are guaranteed to see a huge number of people you know (and promptly forget you saw them), dance a lot, wander aimlessly past people (you are obviously looking for) and recognize a large number of the girls that appear on the Podium (not mentioning any names from last year, you all know who you are)!
In general this all add up to some wicked nights out!!!! Plus to add onto there there are the added enteratinments of, SCORE, as well as ANIMAL NIGHTS!
