Fanfiction - Chowenie one parter

Chrissie and Owen saunter out into the breeze of the evening air, neither of them speaking very much just occasional word here and there. Both glad to be back with each other again. They slowly walk accross to the pub, still hand-in-hand.

A short while later they are sat at a table in the bar, both with a glass of alcohol in front of them. Chrissie looks up at Owen smiling to herself, happy that she had gone up to him earlier that day when they had been in the canteen and glad that he is still speaking to her. Hoping that her choice to get back with him is the right one even though she is almost positive.. in-fact sure that it is.

They sit there for a while longer as the minutes slowly pass by, as they listen to the music playing on the loudspeakers that fills the bar. When Owen starts to speak..

Owen: So.. do you want to come back to my place for a coffee then.

He asks as he tries to break the silence between them both.

Chrissie: Yeah, that would be great, there's something I need to ask you.

Owen: Ok, whats that then?

He asks, not quite sure what she is going to say.

Chrissie: Why did you do it?

Owen: I don't know, it just well..happened, I tried to stop it.. but she.. well... just kept persisting. You do know I love you don't you, its you I want to be with.

Chrissie: Yeah, I know what she's like, I just never thought she'd go that far though.
