The Elemtents ...
A Pharyn is an Element based creature, meaning they are always based on an Element. Currently, there are eight known Elements, and they are: Ember, Grass, Rain, Shadow, Light, Shock, Wings, Icicle and the newest one, Neutral. Below is an explanation of each Element.
Ember is based on Fire. They are usually hot colours, such as Red, Crimson or Orange. Sometimes, there can be Negative Embers, which are Blues, but still classified as an Ember. Embers are rather antisocial, and do not get along with other creatures. They like areas that are away from noise, and areas that are warm or well-heated, such as Volcanoes, Deserts, Beaches etc. They do not cope well with Rain Elementals at all!
Grass is based on Earth. They can range from a dark Sepia to a vibrant Pink. Most of the time, they are wrapped in vines or have flower decorations on them. They love Forests, and are usually quite amicable and friendly. Grasses are quite spirited, meaning they have a lot of energy! The problem about Grass Elementals is that they do not cope well with Ember Elementals or with Icicle Elementals.
Rain is based on Water. They are most often Blue, Cyan or even Beige! Rains love areas that contain large bodies of water, such as a Beach, an Ocean or a pond. They are usually the serene-type, and not much bothers them. They make friends with who ever, but can be quite pushy about it. Rains are calm and rather tranquil. They do not get along too well with Grasses nor Icicles.
Shadow is based on Night. These Elementals are usually the least sociable of all. Often found in dark, misty places, Shadows can easily camouflage with the darkness because of their colourings. As you can probably imagine, Shadows come in dark shades of Violet, Navy and Crimson. Often times, they are Black or Dark Gray. They do not like to be disturbed by anything, and will attack if so. They do not care for any Element besides Light; surprisingly, Light is the only Element that Shadows appreciate.
Light is based on Morning. They are almost always energetic and idealist. They rarely take things seriously. Lights are usually the opposite of Shadows with their bright colours. They are usually pastels, but can sometimes be a vibrant Peach or Violet. They can live almost anywhere, however they prefer noisy spots with lots of things to see and lots of creatures to meet. They get along best with Shadows, if you can believe.
Shock is based on Thunder/Lightning. They are more of the 'meh' type of Element, and couldn't care less about what goes on. They are relaxed a laid-back, mellow if you must. Shocks are usually any vibrant colour, from Purple to Gold. Shocks don't get along too well with Wings or Rains, but other than that they are somewhat sociable. They prefer secluded areas, away from noise. But they put up with almost anything... Almost, I said. ^^;
Wings are based on Air. They love adventure but are usually calm and quiet. Despite what they seem, they are quite bouncy. Wings make for great companions, as they are very loyal and friendly! Wings can come in almost any colour... Usually pale shades, however. Wings get along quite well with Grasses and Icicles. They don't really mind Shocks, although they'd rather have their distances.
Icicle is based on Ice. They are bitter and rather cruel towards others, and have a single-minded personality. They hate being disturbed, and are very picky towards who they befriend. Icicles are very illusive, and exist only a few... Or so we think. They live in cold, frigid places (maybe their personality comes from their environment?) and usually live by themselves. They come in chilly shades, but they only come in Whites and Blues, no other colour. They always have mutations. I warn anyone who owns an Icicle to keep them far away from Embers, especially if they own one!
Neutrals are basically nonexistent. They are based on creatures from Earth, hens their mutations. Neutrals are kindhearted and sweet, and make great friends! Not much is known on them quite yet, however I'm sure there will be. ^^!
Breeding...
Breeding with Pharyn is probably the most confusing. @_@ Breeding depends entirely on whether or not the Pharyn cope well with each other or not. If you have an Icicle and an Ember, don't expect any pups anytime soon. -.- Like humans, they don't just 'breed' with anyone! However, if you have a Shadow and a Light, it is rather likely that they will have an offspring together. The thing about breeding is that both Pharyn must belong to the same owner! Sometimes, however, there are exceptions... Just not very frequently. ^^;
The way breeding works is the two lovephars (...*giggles*) spend a day together, and poof! Brand new Pharyn! ^^ The way the Elemental value works is dependant on what colour the pup turns out to be. Let's say the sire was a gold Shock, and the dam was a manilla Light. The pup, on the other hand, was darker than momma was! Gasp! Well, that would only mean that the pup is a Shock. ^^ Get it?
