Star Bot team members mentor and help to begin Lego robotics teams at local middle schools. Several team members helped aspiring members with research and ideas for beginning their teams. In recent years, members have helped new teams at Logan Middle School and Chapmanville Middle School. Each contributing member had a great impact on the teams they mentored and even recruted graduating LEGO members to the high school's county team.
The Star Bot team mates cheered on the Lego team at competitions and daily practices helping them grasp the sense of the great moral support at FIRST competitions.
