Looking for the perfect gift for the gerbil-lover in your life, or maybe just a way to make your home a little more "gerbilly"? Why not a stained glass gerbil from Kim, of Kim's Gerbils?

I just set up a Yahoo group for gerbil owners in the western United States. It’s a great way to find breeders or homes for pups in your area, as well as an opportunity to have shows out here. Join today!

Today, Knolls Gerbils' resident artist, Phoebe, made her web debut! Phoebe is reknowned for her beautiful sculptures. (She's also very beautiful and has consequently captured the hearts of male gerbils around the world!)

Today, I got my carry pouch from the Gottaspoilem store - I'm so excited! The girls seem a little frightened of it, but they're always like that with something new. They seemed a little friendlier even after the first pouching!
If you're looking for something to help with taming your gerbils, an easy was to transport them to the vet's office, or just a new way to play with them, I would highly recommend visiting the Gottaspoilem store and checking out these beautiful, well-made carry pouches.

Yesterday was "The Southwestern AGS Luncheon and Romp Around Town!" I had so much fun! My family and I met up with Don and Shelley Naseth of the AGS for lunch and a 'tour' of local pet shops.
At the restaurant, we swapped gerbil stories and pictures - Don even brought his camcorder to lunch, so I got to see footage of newborn pups!
At the pet shops, we saw some really cute gerbies, and I got a crash course in color identification. We also bought stuff - lots of stuff! Aimee and Dora got a brand new ten-gallon tank setup; they moved in today and seem happy as can be!
It was really great, getting to know some other 'gerbil people' - now I really have to go to a show!
