McDonnell Douglas MD-11

A nice bit of modelling for ya. No texuturing yet, I'm afraid, its not my strong point, so just a basic paint scheme. Windows will come with the texturing, as will flaps etc in detail. It saves a lot in poly count, over the concorde model, for instance.
I'd actually say this model was easier than the concorde. I'd practiced the wing traditional wing shape a lot before, and I'd found useful dimensions of the MD11 on the internet, which makes it a lot easier to judge the scales of parts of the aircraft when you know overall lenght, wingspan, winsweep, etc.

The first time I modelled this aircraft, back in August:

Now 3 months later, I'd say this was more up to scratch. Sorry about the image quality.

Only one of the engines is detailed, thats not really the focus of the model (which makes a change!).

And a few perspective views.

And the first two renders from truespace.
