Exile over for Woodgate and Bowyer

Sven Goran Eriksson has ended Lee Bowyer and Jonathan Woodgate's
international exile when he called them up into the England squad to
face Portugal on Saturday.

United team-mates Paul Robinson, Danny Mills and Alan Smith are also
all included in Eriksson's 20 man squad.

Bowyer is in line to win his first full England cap and Woodgate can
get his second cap after two years since his England debut against
Bulgaria.

Paul Robinson, who wins his call after taking over Nigel Martyn's
place in the Leeds team, will be heartened by the fact that Eriksson
has only called up two goalkeepers.

Alan Smith is also almost virtually guaranteed a game against the
Portuguese with just three strikers called up in what is a forward
thinking squad.
